Personally I think it's a mistake buying vape gear for another person. We are a picky lot. Take her out to a vape shop and let her pick what appeals to her.

Only vape stuff my wife ever surprised me with was an overpriced cigalike kit. That aggraved you to death to subscribe to their prefilled cartos....
did get me off of cigs but I quickly ordered some blank cartos and filled my own,
Their cartos would have cost me more than smoking 1.5 PAD!

I quickly used the internet, watched some primitive Todd review videos and such and educated myself on vaping and moved up to Ego's and clearos :bliss:
And within 2 months was DIYing all my own juice too.
