We posted at the same time. I think I understand what you're talking about now. Thanks.

I seriously have no need for one...
I have no 18350 devices. I keep telling myself, and quite rightly I might add: "Waddaya need that for?"

Then I look around here at all the crap I have that I was at one time looking at on my computer screen saying: "Waddaya need that for?"

I like the size of 18350 mods and since I have MTL (usually above 1.2 ohms) I can make 2ml of juice and an 18350 last all day.
That's the appeal for me, but a good ol' 18650 can last me 2.5 days. I've just gotten spoiled on these tiny mechs.

And because shiny.

Yeah those are pretty cool! Too bad it was designed by a total dick (long story on that one. Just ask @~Don~).
My only issue with that is building high enough on an RDA to make the battery worth a damn. 10a limit max... would have to be 0.8 or above to last more than a couple hours.

Woot replacement phone arrived

Replaced the battery, dust-spill seal and put it in a case

Didn’t come exactly as advertised, but nothing I couldn’t fix.

Wasn’t disclosed it was worked on before, dust shield seal wasn’t there, one of the set screws near the lightning port was stripped, replaced it with one from my old phone. Seller said after I emailed him he would send some cash my way for what I mentioned, wasn’t my intent, but momma didn’t raise an idiot so I said thanks appreciate the gesture.

But yeah iPhone 8 Plus is huge compared to my lil ole 6s, but for $170 can’t complain.

Just have to correctly cycle the new battery, full charge, full discharged til it turns itself off, then use as normal.

Very nice indeed. I recognize the KRMA, but what is that coil and bridge you have in the silver one? Those are some gargantuan wicking ports.

It’s the krv euc bridge. It’s great, particularly with the .5 ceramic coil
I knew about the euc ceramic coils, but I don't remember seeing that particular bridge. I have a different one for those coils, but I haven't used it yet.

I got the KRMA built and installed. It vapes really good for the mtl setup I have in it, but it's a pain to work with. The threaded piece on the bottom that holds it in an ohm reader or mod is press fitted and doesn't give a solid resistance reading. Given SXK's penchant for cloning real close, I have to wonder if the authentic is like that too. Also, it was a BEAR to get into the boro. Way worse than the Xeta. With the Xeta, apparently the authentic was pretty snug too, which is why I wonder if it also the case with the KRMA. If SXK copies close enough to even reproduce the cons, could be. Haven't researched it yet.

I'm still breaking in the cotton on my first build, but to me anyway, it is no Xeta killer. It does vape really good and I probably should have used the next smaller air restriction plug under the deck, but so far it doesn't knock my socks off compared to the Xeta.

I'm not sorry I got it and it'll stay in the mtl nugget for a while, but I still like the Xeta a bit better. Especially for ease of use.

I don’t have the xeta yet to compare it to. I’m just now getting the KRMA broken in but I am surprised to hear you had trouble getting it onto a mod to test it. Mine screws right in without issue.

As far as getting it all together in the boro it took me some experimenting too. What works for me is to use a pair of tweezers and use them to push through the top of the chimney which allows me to move everything into alignment and then push down to get it all connected. Since figuring that out it’s been really fast to get it together.

Also, I’m using it DTL I like you.

It screws in fine, but where the threaded piece joins with the sleeve above it isn't that tight. I was talking about getting it into the boro. VERY tight.

Awfully quiet in here! Thinking about grabbing one of these guys after Chinese New Year... SXK Sunbox Stealth clone (bottom pic) for $36.99 with Map code.
Either that or the Ambition Mods Easy to the tune of $70ish.

About the only question I have is the max. diameter of the tank that'll fit there.

Well, I finally got the drill out  Took both of Xeta's smallest inserts to 1.5mm. Well, 1/16 drill bit, so technically 1.6mm. Chimney insert was a piece of cake. Af plug not so much. Ugly but it will work.

I don't like the swoopy design

Smoker Store makes lower profile cap for the Pico, but it kind of defeats the purpose of getting a Pico in the first place

Agreed, and agreed, lol. I have a silver/black 25, only one I can stand. Even at that, not a fan of the design at all. Doesn't get near the use it would if it was just one damn color :cuss2:

I think I'm going to go with the Pico 21700 and use the included 18650 adapter. I've got a few kickaround that don't get any use. It'll fit up to a 25mm or 26mm I believe

That sounds like a good idea and option.
I was out of the pico game by the time those came around. I still love and use the regular 75w, but obviously with 22mm only.
I still use quite a few 22mm atty's, so works for me. Btw, have you tried to put anything else in the Tell tank yet? I have not gotten around to it.

Yeah actually, I have my Haku Xeta in it right now. That's one of the reasons I want a XvoStick clone! LOVE the vape I get with it but it's just so darn tall lol
My other issue with it is that the ultem tank seperate from the stainless ring at the bottom so it gets fiddly and won't read on my mods from time to time. Great concept though!

Hmm, I'm gonna have to give it a shot now. Yeah it is for a SBS only for sure. I could put in on the pico, but it would be taller than the mod :giggle:

Drilled out Xeta vaping really well so far. My problem with them is over time it seems to let too much juice in the chimney, giving me some popping and gurgling. Hoping the reduced chamber will help with that. The draw on it is perfect mtl, for me :)

That's why I use the widest insert. Condensation build up is the worst hahw

You use the largest chimney insert to cut down on what comes up the chimney? o_O
I don't think it is condensation I am having trouble with, I think it's straight up juice.

Yes sir. Just like when you use a tight drip tip it ends up being a juice straw.

Hmm, ok. Never thought of it that way. If this doesn't pan out, I will try going the other way. I would have to stick with a small af plug though, I don't want the draw much looser, if any.

Yeah the air coming in being restricted via you air insert will dictate the draw and the diameter of the chimney doesn't have as much affect on your draw.
Ever use w VapeShell? You can't do a thing about the chimney diameter but flavor and draw changes via the insert in the deck

That should solve a lot of spitback issues you're having. I have the same problem with the Berserker drip tip... the bore is so tight that it acts like a straw and pulls condensed juice right into my mouth. Gross.

So Seth at Lazer vapers does all kinds of custom mods. He mainly works with wood and acrylics, but he does mech and regulated squonkers, single and dual 18650, single and dual 21700, DNA 75c, DNA 250c, lipos. Literally anything you want. I'm leaning toward a single 18650 DNA 75c with similar designs to these ones. Mine would be a lot smaller though.
