Cinnamon - maybe not so good for metal or glass.

An accidental experiment
I present to you two different Aspire Nautilus tanks. Both are authentic, both have authentic coils. Both had about the same use as when I used them I rotated between three different tanks on a daily basis. All three of my Nautilus tanks were purchased at the same time as well. In Dec I started dripping so stopped using these tanks. They got put to the side, still with a bit of fluid in them, and they sat for 6 months. I finally decided to clean them.

Tank #1. Nice and clean, no sign of age, no signs of rust, no buildup, despite having sat with a bit of (I think) vanilla ice cream from mount baker vapor for 6 months. All I did was rinse it out and it looks like new.

Here is Tank #2. This one also sat for 6 months with a little bit of Mount Baker Vapor liquid in it. This time, Cin City. The glass is cloudy, the center post is corroded and has spots of rust on it. the coil has signs of corrosion, the base has rust in it, the 510 spring was rusted and there was gunk all around the 510 pin.

Oh, I did say I have 3 of these tanks and all 3 sat around. The 3rd tank looks just as clean as the first picture. Sat with High Desert Vapes Candy Corn for 6 months. All three tanks got the same usage, all three tanks are the same age, all three tanks were used with 6mg liquid. Only the one with cinnamon got corroded.

And that why I don't vape cinnamon, or anything that melts plastic anymore.

Not pineapple but I've done several other fruits. What fruits are plastic melters?

I have FA Cinnamon Ceylon that I use frequently. I have TFA Red Hot that I rarely use. I learned the hard way a long time ago about Cinnamon flavors, like red hot, but I thought those issues were cleared up. Your tank says otherwise.

Interesting, and thanks for the pics, @zaroba.

Pretty much every liquid with a citrus fruit since the citric acid reacts with plastic. It's not harmful to vape though.
This would include orange, apple, lemon, lime, grape, grapefruit, blueberry, cherry.

Liquids with malic acid can also damage polycarbonate tanks.

Anything with cinnamon as well, but there you also got the cinnamaldehyde to contend with if you are really health conscious.

Many TPA/TFA flavor extracts result in tank cracking juices
Such as Honeysuckle, earl grey tea, vanilla custard, vanilla bean ice cream, ry4, rootbear, ripe banana

Those I don't worry about. I switched to Pyrex quite a while back. I'm not concerned about those so much. Can't imagine that I'll give up Cinnamon Ceylon anytime soon. I use such tiny amounts of it. But wasn't it the hot kind that the warnings were about?

I don't like citrus, so I have not done any of those. I have done TFA apple, grape candy, grape juice ,blueberry (wild)& (extra), and CAP vanilla custard (didn't like vanilla custard)

Does cinnamon affect RDAs?

I got a great juice called churros n ice cream. I'd hate to avoid it..
