An accidental experiment
I present to you two different Aspire Nautilus tanks. Both are authentic, both have authentic coils. Both had about the same use as when I used them I rotated between three different tanks on a daily basis. All three of my Nautilus tanks were purchased at the same time as well. In Dec I started dripping so stopped using these tanks. They got put to the side, still with a bit of fluid in them, and they sat for 6 months. I finally decided to clean them.
Tank #1. Nice and clean, no sign of age, no signs of rust, no buildup, despite having sat with a bit of (I think) vanilla ice cream from mount baker vapor for 6 months. All I did was rinse it out and it looks like new.

Here is Tank #2. This one also sat for 6 months with a little bit of Mount Baker Vapor liquid in it. This time, Cin City. The glass is cloudy, the center post is corroded and has spots of rust on it. the coil has signs of corrosion, the base has rust in it, the 510 spring was rusted and there was gunk all around the 510 pin.

Oh, I did say I have 3 of these tanks and all 3 sat around. The 3rd tank looks just as clean as the first picture. Sat with High Desert Vapes Candy Corn for 6 months. All three tanks got the same usage, all three tanks are the same age, all three tanks were used with 6mg liquid. Only the one with cinnamon got corroded.
