Coils run less than they test??

My setup I have the bothering question about is an IPV3 Li with a Lush RDA. I am running a dual coil setup of twisted 22g Kanthal. Both coils have 5 wraps and two half wraps to make the wrap count an even 6 per coil. When I screw my RDA into my box mod they read between .09-1.3ohms. Each time I unscrew and place it back on it starts out reading .09ohms. After barely adjusting the pin on my mod box they jump back to 1.2-1.3 ohms as they were when I first built and tested them. Anyone have some ideas? The reason I ask is because .09 is obviously to low for an IPV3 Li to actually work.

Try re-tightening the leads, and try adjusting the positive pin on the RDA, make sure it's making a good connection.

Thanks, I do believe I figured it out. I hadn't realized that with the IPV3 Li you have to "set" the resistance by holding wattage up and down after installing the RDA. It hasn't had a issue since. I did readjust the boxmods positive pin as well.

Did you type that right? Are you saying those tested at 1.2Ω? I can't imagine that's right as for 22g twisted you'll need 60+ wraps according to my steam-engine approximation.

Anyways, general troubleshooting, if it ohms out too high check connection of the pin and your screws/coil.

Ohms out too low, check for a hotspot on the coil and tweak them a little.

But, sounds like you got it working anyways

Oh lord yes that is quite incorrect. I keep getting my decimal mixed, I'm not used to low ohms when I speak of them haha. Thank you all the suggestions

Sounds like loose or broken connection. Because it changes if you adjust the 510, I'd start there. But it could also be a post or screw

Are you trying to vape that build in TC mode? The reason I'm asking is the only time you need to lock the resistance on that mod is to set a base resistance point for TC mode vaping. If you're vaping in power mode there is no need to do this, and I don't believe you can even lock the resistance in power mode as I've never tried it with my IPV3Li.
I agree with the others suggestions about checking your center pin, and making sure you connection at the post are secure on the RDA.
