Morning everyone. Doing a project I didn’t want to do for the longest time. Had two jack russells that are gone now for a few years. The little fat one used to go out for a walk pee outside then come inside and pee again lol. Think he had diabetes as he got old. So I finally pulled up the carpet and it looks like I’m gonna have to replace parts of the sub floor before doing anything else with new flooring. Doesn’t end lol. Oh boy! We love our pets but they sure can do some damage. I've had to replace some carpets over the years too.

Got home to a house with no power in the 90 degree heat. Good thing I got a generator. Was able to run the fridge internet cable tv and a light lol. For more than anyone else in the block lmao. See ya tomorrow hope the power comes back soon !

Went to do what should have been a 2 hour remove and replace an in wall A/C today but found rotted wood when I removed the old unit. So ripping down 2x10's and reframing the opening in the wall. 6 hours later was finally finished. So after a late lunch and a nice shower it is wine time~!

Yeah, it was at a friends house and that is why I suggested doing it yesterday. We started at 8AM but did not expect to find rotted wood. I used pressure treated lumber so it should be good for another 20-25 years~!
