Morning everyone. Got home about 3 am. Just got up and have to go back to work for 2pm. Sunday I start nights. Well nights and part of the am. Go in at 1:30 am and work to 11am so I’ll be picking up the morning rush hour. I’ll try it out for a while and see what happens. Got to make the union meeting. See ya later and have a good day.
I remember when my husband had crazy hours like that. Now he works 12:30pm to 12:30am. I hope your day goes well!

Same here!! I love the temperature it’s outside now! It’s warm with a slight chill where I’m at and we have some rain. I love it!

other matters. My birth name is Amber, but I’m changing it to Belladona, Bella for short. And they’re basically disowning me as family now. I know it’ll be a looong time til I can legally change it, but my friends and in laws already accepted my new name and call me by it now. Legally changing your name costs a good amount of money, which I don’t have. But I’m looking for their love and support.
Give it time. They've known you as a certain person for 20+ years. They MAY not see it as a simple name change.
You expressed the reasons for the change with me in private and I'll keep those reasons there, and while they may be valid reasons some in the family MAY see it as an affront to them as well. I really don't know their reasons, but try to take a step back and see things from everyone's perspective.
I don't know you so I don't and a dog in this hunt and as such I'll encourage you to do what you feel is in your best interest, but also caution that what may seem such a simple thing will far reaching effects everyone who knows.

They may very well think that. If you choose to go through with the change those who really love you may not support the change but will accept in time.
I've always hated my name and I did consider changing it many times because my father chose my name and he was non-existent in my life, but I never went through with changing. Remember the name, no matter who gave it to you, doesn't define you. You define your name.
It could always be worse. While I was still in the womb, my parents decided that if I was a boy (this back when it was still a surprise) my father named me and If was a girl my mother got the choice. I did not come out as a girl and had that been the case I would have been named Amy Susan and my last name is Smith. My initials would have been A.S.S.
