iPWM CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ:
The Big Al's iPWM board works by first reading the input voltage. 2S-6S (Li-Ion or LiPo). It then powers up and you can use the potentiometer to cycle through maximum battery voltage, all the way down to around 1-2V for some inputs. This is a regulated mod with a usage feel somewhat similar to variable voltage, only using PWM instead of DC. The potentiometer is the tool used to adjust the power as mentioned, this is a small dial on the side of the mod with various 0-100% markings.
2S can go down to around 0.5V. So with a 4S lipo you'd have a range of about 3V-16.5V on a full charge. 3S Lipo or triple 18650, 2V-12.3V on a full charge, and 2S Lipo or dual 18650/26650 0.5V-8.1V on a full charge. The mod will include a digital LED volt meter that will display an accurate estimate of your output voltage when in use and will be the display used to cycle through board features. The output voltage at a given potentiometer setting WILL decrease as the battery life decreases, simply increase the pot setting to remedy this.
There are no build limits, use the volt meter to figure out your output voltage, then use your build resistance and ohm's law to figure out the rest. iPWM mods include a lock/unlock feature, on/off, low voltage cutoff, reverse polarity protection, voltage check, switch from input/output voltage on the volt meter display, favorite voltage mode and diagnostics mode. The board also includes LEDs that can be used to indicate specific problems during board failure. 18650's, 20700's, 26650's and Lipo's are all usable with this board. These mods can push upwards of 3,000W+ in certain configurations.
These aren't toys and are only meant to be used by experienced vapers. With inputs from 2S to 6S, this board can supply power ranges to suit any vaping style from low wattage tootle puffing to thousand watt madness. I do not recommend you exceed 60A regardless of your battery limits, as the iPWM board itself is only recommend for 60A maximum.
