OK, I'm new to the DNA but I'm having problems getting the TC right with ss316l. I have a bellus with dual 26g coils and the temp is WAY off. On my wife's evic mini I run this setup at 40 Watts and 400 to 420 degrees. Always the same vape. On the DNA with the CSV file from steam engine I end up running at 500 to 520 degrees, 400 degrees gives almost no vape. If I hit it a couple times and reset as a new coil(raising the cold ohms by about .02 according to escribe device manager) it works fine at 420 for a session but if I wait an hour hardly any vape again. This wouldn't be a big deal, I guess I could just set it high and go, but with a dripper I have set up with SS Clapton's (parallel 26g 316l core 34g kanthal wrap) I end up running at 300 degrees or lower and it's still damn hot. Same profile. Any reason why there is so much fluctuation? I know these are tottaly different coils but if it's the TC material that matters what's up? I ended up getting the DNA because it was supposed to be the best at TC, but the evic is beating it's ass right now. I'm sure I've gotten something wrong as I'm new to the DNA and escribe, but I don't see what. TC in ni200 is great though. Thanks in advance for any help!
