ELEMENT VAPE: I purchased two bottles of 60ML Vape Juice as well as a pack of coils from this online company. Not only did my order take forever to arrive (so long that I was forced to go buy vape juice from a smoke shop so by the time it did come I didn’t need it right away and didn’t open it until I did). When I did open it, I noticed I was missing an entire bottle of vape juice. At first I thought I there was some mistake and that I had only been charged for one bottle, but then I looked at the receipt which confirmed I had ordered and been charged for two bottles. I took pictures of my order confirmation, the package I recieved including the contents of that package and the receipt. I sent a polite email, which included said pictures, explaining what happened. I also explained that I never complain, which is true, I also never write bad reviews. But in this case, I am truly upset and feel like this company stole from me. As I explained in the email, I’m short on cash, and $17.99 for a bottle of juice (more if you consider tax + shipping) is more money than I can afford to just be stolen. Especially from a company I have been a loyal customer to, even after several other screw ups which I just looked past. This time they crossed a line though and need to be held accountable. They emailed me back saying that because I didn’t report it within 48 hours of “arrival” that there’s nothing they will do. I will not be shopping from this company again and will be letting everyone I know about my experience as well.

It is on you to report the mistake in a timely manner. I would have been surprised had they offered to send the missing bottle honestly.

yeah. you MUST open and inspect EVeRYTHING asap. I open and inspect when I buy from a store, in the store.

about 30'ish years ago, there was a big problem . people would buy something, camera, VCR, whatever.
when they got home and opened the box, what they really bought was a box of rocks. yep, someone removed the whatever and replaced it with rocks. at the return counter, the store thought these people were trying to rip the store off.

I open and inspect when I buy from a store, in the store.

In a Vape shop if a bottle is't sealed I will not purchase it. Now we have childproof caps but back years ago there was a shrink wrap seal. If it was not in place I do not care if they were all like that I would not buy it.

Huh??? You got a package of juice and coils how long did you take to open in??? I do not do much selling in the vape category but i do tend to sell a bunch of sneakers. With that said the day of shipped and the day after cool but a week or 2 later im going to be reluctant to work with someone as im probably just getting scammed. I know its not the same thing but always open and inspect right away. Element vape is a great company i dont think bashing them out is the answer maybe ask to speak with management.

Any package vape mail or other I receive I open immediately to make sure correct items were sent plus if any damage.

Guess the OP is no longer excited about vape mail, lol

But the vendor still should of made good on a missing item regardless of the time frame.

We do not know how long since delivery it has been, so saying they should make good is not looking at it objectively. What if it was more than a week and more like a month? Really do you not check in a realistic amount of time? I still say troll..........

Age has nothing to do with it . I didn't make my first online order until I was in my late forties.

If I was the vendor I would require more to give a free bottle of e-Liqiud not just because they claim after this unknown amount of time to be shorted., Sure the OP gains a free bottle of e-Liquid and could just be another troll sent by another pissed off troll.

We know from the invoice that it was printed on November 9th (a Friday, after they closed probably)

We can also make out on the package that the label was printed on November 13th with priority ONE day shipping:

November 13th was a Tuesday but November 12th was a USPS Holiday (Veteran's Day) so mail didn't run.

Then we can go a step further and look up the Tracking number: (9405510298370740017585) we see that the package showed up TWO DAYS LATER:
(So you got it in one business day)

So it's been a month and you are all of a sudden one 60ml of eliquid short.

I'm not implying anything here but you've got to know how this looks, right?

I was shorted a bottle of juice from a different vendor before so I KNOW it can happen and it probably did happen here.

When it happened to me the vendor knew about before the mail carrier even got out of my neighborhood.

The only reason this went down the way it did was because OP waited a few weeks to open the package.

I know, I have the package open before i'm all the way back in the house half the time.:giggle:

I have had a few screwed up orders in the past and never had a problem if I messaged the vendor within a day or two of receiving the package.

OP went wrong by waiting too long to open the package.

You need to check your facts dude. How is that on me!? I made the correct order. Paid for two bottles. It’s THEIR job to ship what I paid for. I’m not their babysitter. I don’t work for them. They made a mistake, Which btw is not the first time (if you read all the other online threads, reviews & comments regarding this company) You will see that this is something they consistently do. As soon as I did open the package. I took pictures of everything. I didn’t open anything, and I took time out of my day (which I shouldn’t have had to do in the first place if they had done their job right) to email them all this information. Giving them the chance to rectify their mistake. I was expecting an apology, on top of them sending me what I PAID for. So when I got an email saying they were not going to fix their mistake I was furious. I’m normally a very calm person, I never get mad or complain or write negative reviews. This is my first time. And it’s because, I have been a loyal customer to this company, which not only screwed me over but also basically stole from me. So yes (to those comments below who think I’m a troll because I’ve posted multiple threads, comments, reviews[whatever they’re called]). I’m already struggling financially and feel like I got F’d over by a company who has been profiting off me for years. I don’t feel like that is something I deserve and I’m hurt, angry and upset. I also want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anybody else. I apologize for going off like this, but when I read a comment saying that this was ON ME!? I was in shock all over again. If I have my purse unzipped and someone comes and grabes my wallet from my purse and runs off, yes in retrospect I should have had zipped my purse, but that person would still be arrested and charged for burglary.

I don’t know what your idea of “trolling” is. I was ripped off by a company I’ve been a loyal customer to for years and was angry and wanted to make sure this doesn’t happen to anybody else. That’s it.. I don’t know what your problem is.

It looks like you have a lot of time on your hands. You went through all that trouble of looking up my tracking number, checking holidays and doing basic math. But you should have paid more attention in English because if you had read my post. I stated that because it took so long to get delivered, I went to a vape shop and bought juice. So when it finally did arrive, I didn’t need it and so I put it aside until I finished the bottle of juice that was already opened. The one mistake I made was trusting that the company I trusted with my money did their job and sent me what I paid for. Which is why I didn’t open the package right away to “check”.

Did you not read the part where I mentioned that a legitimate, honest, smoothly functioning company should have a list of inventory before and after all orders. And I understand that people make mistakes, but when they fail to make it right and instead put the blame on me, that’s where I have a problem. I have been ordering juice, vape kits and coils from this company for years and have never once made a complaint. Why would I all of a sudden be trying to scam them over ONE bottle of vape juice. That’s ridiculous.

I think it sucks you are out a bottle of juice but its always a good plan to check your packages. "Trust, but Verify". The folks on here love vape mail so someone not tearing into a package almost immediately is weird to many. Its just not customary.

5150 was just looking at the information that was provided and walked through it all and really it was a pretty impressive investigation with the info that was provided. I am no a special pleader for Element Vape but have ordered from them in the past with no issues.

A month later is a bitter pill to swallow for a business owner, never discount the human element. People do make mistakes, they made one by shorting you a bottle of e-liquid and you made one by camping on the package.

To be fair, I goaded her into it. I’m over these new members that start an account only to bash a vendor, and will be gone tomorrow when they are not so mad.

I think it sucks she got shorted but she waited too long to complain.

Lots of people here assuming these vape vendors have huge bar coded distribution centers with inventory controls in place. In my experience that’s not the case. Maybe they checked inventory, and it was correct? Maybe they have a thief on the ship outs? Maybe the OP is a whack job? Who knows.

To be fair, I goaded her into it. I’m over these new members that start an account only to bash a vendor, and will be gone tomorrow when they are not so mad.

I think it sucks she got shorted but she waited too long to complain.

Lots of people here assuming these vape vendors have huge bar coded distribution centers with inventory controls in place. In my experience that’s not the case. Maybe they checked inventory, and it was correct? Maybe they have a thief on the ship outs? Maybe the OP is a whack job? Who knows.

Quite a few are small operations with only a handful of employees at best; and, limited inventory control systems at their disposal.

Humans make mistakes. Is it so hard to imagine that just like she mkstakingly waited too long to open the box;that, another human also made a mistake when packing the box?

Let alone it’s nice to note that most times you get more bees with honey

Nope I actually think they probably did make a mistake but after waiting a month to check the package, you’ve missed the window to expect them to just send her out a new one.

And I’m not trying to attract these kind of new “bees”. If this were from a member who has been around more than a few hours, then I would give it more weight. If she sticks around and becomes a member of the community, then maybe I’ll owe her an apology one day. I very seriously doubt that will happen though.

I agree, both parties made a mistake here. Was just drawing the parallel between one person making a mistake and a small staff equally being mistaken. Most shops are small businesses that employ very few people, element vape is not the same animal as say amazon. They don’t have any automation.

Additionally, I was referring to trying to her trying to get the desired outcome.

In my experience when negotiating a dispute, it’s usually best to start out amiable and humble. The claws are weapons of last resort.

I have never had a vendor refuse to make things right. They respond to respect and lack of confrontation very well.
