* nods nods * Freezing for sure. I was born where Uncle Walt made swamp into a city and called it Orlando. Was back there to see my dad when 17, only there 9 months but it was enough to learn being Floridian all over again. 70 is freezing.

I for one had lost a mind, it may have been mine, long before visiting ECF. Still I find it odd a mental health pro tells me I'm the sanest crazy she sees. Then, I visit ECF. * wanders off singing "La la La la ..." *

Haha, congrats! Yeah I've been doing some work stuff so have been out of state for nearly 3 weeks. Came back and shit hit the fan. Apparently a ton of people left and more by the day, yikes! It's good to know everyone is still around here though mods have been more and more aggressive lately I think it's my time to switch ship.

A internet forum is a forum is a forum, ya know. I liked ECF because of the people there. I had a lot of fun, learned a lot and met some great people there. I have got a few mails telling me I was in the wrong with no way to ask how I was in the wrong and it never mattered enough to me to persue it. Yet when AndriaD was banned it was like WTF. Andria I seen in the DIY section helping peeps, in the tootle puffers and the Womper Room and she has always been one of them who made ECF a great place to hang out. To even think she had dome anything to warrant a ban is ludicrous.
Roxy I dont know as well as I know Andria but have ran into her many times on the forum and always had a positive opinion on her. To hear she too was banned was too much. Roxy in my opinion is al lot like Andria in that she is one of those who likes to help others and was good for the forum because she has an outgoing personality thats very friendly.
Yet I dont think ECF has learned a thing from this and view it as we the forum users are the problem. We are the rabble-rouser for having the audacity to object to what any moderator does, and i also believe they are here lurking under a fictitious name, watching and taking notes on what we say. I myself can give a flying fuck if they ban or boot me from ECF. Still have many friends there but values and principals matter and my ECF time has been cut back to almost non existent.

Doc if they're here I say fuckin' welcome! Maybe (though I doubt it) they'll figure out what a nanny state they really are running & make changes! Not saying that I would go back if they did but I believe the vaping community needs as many positive voices it can get!<headbang>

I just unsubscribed all threads on ECF except the Rayon thread. I have no more interest in anything else on that forum really . There are a few tumbleweeds rolling around over there these days.

Shame really, but it is what it is. I joined there in 2011, never stepped on toes really. Never got any infractions, warnings, and never personally had a bad interaction with the staff.

The treatment of some long standing members has been shitty to say the least. I am very happy to see so many folks standing up for them. Their loss is VU's gain. They are welcome to think or say what they want about the situation, but a bunch of very active, backbone members have left. That speaks volumes.

I came here because most my ECF Buddies are here lol Still active on ECF, but its only made of the people that are there, as previously said..

Edit* Yeah, the Roxy deal has had a HUGH impact on me about ECF though, she was one of the first members I met there, and while we didn't talk everyday, she was one of the very first persons to help me out on there!! And EVERYBODY knows how much she helped out NEW and OLD members alike!!

Over there, after I became a subscriber and could change my title, I had it as "Blabbertypist" for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time... :D At 10,000 posts, the default was "ECF Guru"; after I hit 20,000 posts, I changed it to "Guru X 2" -- but after I got the fuck out, I went over and changed it to "ECF Guru No More." :D

Vape if you wanna! Herbs, nicotine, whatever the hell you want! You're a grown-up! Your life, your consequences, positive or negative! I just flat out hate bossy people and control freaks -- that's how the ANTZ (anti-nicotine and tobacco zealots) operate, and it infuriates me!

Someone did point out that sometimes PG can be irritating. What they did not say is that sometimes VG can make you feel like you have a hairball in your chest you can't cough up, which makes breathing difficult. So I would second the advice of, go to a vape shop; try some flavors; try to find an ejuice that's 50/50 PG/VG, and see how it affects your mouth, throat, and breathing; if it irritates, feels like a chemical burn, gives you a sore throat, then you should use less PG and more VG. If, after a few days of vaping it, it makes your chest feel tight, heavy, congested, feel like you need to cough up but can't, then less VG and more PG.

And enjoy it, no matter what control-freaks may say about it.

I see that I DID remember it correctly -- it says "herbs" -- which is what the OP of that thread said, and silly me, I've never heard the verboten substance referred to in the PLURAL, only the SINGULAR -- I really thought he meant the rather questionable thing I've seen some chatter about, of vaping herbs for medicinal purposes -- so the "offense" was STRICTLY in retarded1's mind, not mine. I was merely advising the OP not to worry about the control freaks who kept telling him that if he hadn't been a smoker, he had no business vaping nicotine -- because it's certainly not going to hurt him, nor turn him into a "nicotine slave for life." :rolleyes: But that was the post that retarded1 used as justification to suspend me, and when I complained via the contact link, he went on to insult me by saying that I 'wasn't fooling anyone.' Asshat. I really think that my hatred of control freaks is probably what really pissed him off, but he had to REACH for something that might conceivably be 'against the rules.'
