I can take the missus Honda out and never had anyone come tell me "sweet bike" or "my bike sounds like your Honda" or even ask if they could roll with me, but get out the Harley and I hear it all the time.

Ride a VTX 1300C; hear it a lot.

I'm needing to source a replacement peak insulator for my Velocity clone. Anyone have any idea where I can find some. Almost every vendor selling the velocity states in their product description that the insulators are replaceable, but there are never replacement insulators listed.

Ordered from fasttech. I'll probably just make some myself, but peek is rather hard to cut.
Ah, OK, I got ya...

Why not just buy another?

Only about 10 bucks, right?

Hey guys! After reading up on all the stuff that happened on ECF and witnessing the insane moderation, I've come to VU! How does one become an ECF Refugee? :D

First you must get the offical Refugee Wave, and then someone will point out where to get your badge if you care to wear one. So..

I miss it because when I'm being mugged in a dark ally, I no longer have a bat to fight back with...in 18650 mode of course.

18350 is more of a butt plug...so I've heard.

I just like to be different. Most people I know ride Harley. I do not because, I didnt want to join the t shirt club lol. Nothing against Harley at all. I plan on owning an old school Shovel at some point.

When all my friends were buying Mustangs and Cameros, not older ones either but the late 90's early 2000's models, I went and bought a 1978 AMC Matador. One owner, 60,000 original miles on the body and a big block, upgraded tranny and rear stuffed in it. Fucking thing hauled man.

Had that car when everybody started buying tuner cars when The Fast and The Furious was getting popular. I spanked so much tuner ass in that car lol! The look on thier face when that old big block let loose, the ass end sunk down and the front end rolled and a front wheel coming up was fucking pricless! I loved and miss that car:(

Good morning, everyone! I've had such a brutal couple of weeks and weekends I haven't had much computer time. Too many pages have lapsed and no time to go back and read them all right now. Another lovely day at the job. I'll be back later.

Lol... I don't feed the Moco either. I don't understand the urge to buy a brand new bike, take off half the new parts, and pay outrageous prices for Chinese chrome they coulda put on in the FIRST place. Eliminated my Cat by finding 09 head pipes, got a set of CFR knockoffs from KC Industries, a Thundermax that autotunes, Kuryakyn breather and a Baker Drive Train compensator. HD didn't get a dime of my stage 1 upgrade.

I like you Vesuvious. Don't do it. My first bike was a '77 AMF harley. You have to take the exact route back home, that you left on, so you can pick up all your parts. Wrench to ride time is about 3:1. It ain't fun.

Get a V-Rod. My liquid cooled 04 (had an 02, but it got ripped off) has had zero issues, no wrenching, it just works. AND, Weekend Warrior Harley Riders will still hate you. Winning.

Nice upgrade! I ride a Vulcan 900. I am working on bobbing it out like every other dickhead with a Vulcan. I just love the look of a bobber. The pic below is not mine but what I am going after. Then want to find another cruiser for me and the lady and a Shovel.

THAT is SWEET!!! Looks really good. I use the V-rod on the street, a Road Glide Ultra for longer trips. I really did borrow a Ducati 1200s from the dealer last summer. It was love at first flight. Just waiting to spot a deal..

I just want one for little trips around town. Definitly not a daily or long rider. Just so I can ride it to work one day and park it next to all the guys with their t shirts, handlebar mustaches and their big 2016 Full dressed Harley's. Then the next day ride my Kawi just to mess with them lol.

Back in the day, came very very very close to buying a provari. Until my frugal common sense kicked in, & told me I could buy 6 vamos for the same price. So got a vamo, whole bunch of bottom feed tanks like Protanks & viva novas, 4 different clone mechs, and a few genies like AGA & RSST. And spent less than 1 provari :)

Yeah... I got a Vamo V2, WAYYYYYYYYYYY over a year ago... for $17. And it still works fine. I heard they're crap, and if so, I'd like more crap like that, please. :D
