I could easily kill people before my morning coffee
Thankfully I managed to break my caffeine addiction years ago. But the other people in my life....I've contemplated carrying around no-doz in case the situation gets drastic and they need caffeine NOW before someone dies...

Just mixed up 120 ml of some butterscotch juice with the new soy VG I ordered. For $10 a gallon I had to give it a try. The soy VG taste as sweet as regular VG, cant tell no difference from that, will see how it vapes tomorrow after a long hot steep in the UC.
If there is a difference something is wrong. Palm or soy USP Glycerol is exactly the same chemically.

Y'all could, I may have but due to bad nervous system, traumatic survival coping mechanisms, the reverse polarity of Casiopia the star, misalignment of geo-magnetics from fracking, I have also forgotten it. Also, I treat everyone with indifference. Ergo, I don't remember a lot of idiots, living or dead.

I have been thinking of trying the soy VG. Let me know if there's any difference!

I am on my third tank in my Boreas using the soy VG and I can tell no difference in taste. I was slightly worried because I bought the 4 gallon cube of it but its as good as any VG I have used in the past. No odd taste from the VG at all.

95 Houston airport. I'm hot!!!!
Yes, you are, and I've seen the pictures to prove it.;)

Houston Airport, I had a bad experience there. Flying home from Querétaro, business trip, pilot announces we are on approach, making our descent. Next thing you know, plane is going up instead of down. And we are circling again. 1/2 hour goes by with no word, before it is finally announced that we are waiting because they stopped all inbound flights due to windshear. Was a pretty bad storm at the time. After a fair amount of circling, pilot announces we are running low on fuel, diverting to another (ie smaller) airport nearby to refuel.

Awhile on the tarmac at other said airport before being allowed to go back to Houston. Couldn't do anything else, couldn't get off the plane where we were at because "International" wasn't part of their schtick, ya know. So yep, finally land in Houston, and you now have our plane and a few others all landing quite late, all going through customs at once, and then hundreds having to get assistance with new flights since we had missed our connections. And of course those new flights were gonna be the next day. So had to get a hotel also. And did I mention that walking out of the airport after midnight it was hotter in Houston than it had been in Mexico?

I know it wasn't their fault, but fuck Houston.

I been using Essential Depots VG for a while now. On my third gallon of Palm VG. When the mixing bottles I keep on my shelf ran out last night I decided to give the soy a try and honestly I can not tell the difference between the two. Tasted some on my finger, it seemed the same, its the same thickness as the palm VG I have on hand (half gallon left) and been vaping it all day and can tell no difference. Not saying you cant, but to me they are identical.

I have no idea what GMO has to do with VG after all the processing it goes thru.

Another flavoring to reject today. Finally tried CAP Blueberry Jam.
Caused tingly lips and mouth real quick. So no go.
Sad, it was quite tasty.

This is interesting because I've been wondering if a different brand/type of VG would improve/degrade/no difference in my DIY

I use Essential Depot by default - it's the cheapest option for shipping where I live - and I love my juices just fine.

However, like most, I'm always on the lookout for a way to make it better :grumpy:

I have used 3 different brands of VG so far and can tell no difference at all.
And I have the bitter gene which makes many things taste horrible to me.
and have been called a supertaster.
I DIY and mix typically at around 5-7% total flavoring.

A couple winters back, we visited my son in Hawaii for New Years. Waiting at the terminal for our outbound, an announcement came over the PA that all flights would be delayed. Shortly after, the tarmac got COMPLETELY quiet. NOTHING was moving out there. Not a cart. We asked the gate attendant what the delay was, and they told us only that the airport was temporarily "closed". After about an hour and a half of that, it was clear we were going to likely miss our LAX connector. A Jumbo finally landed. NO airline markings. Only "United States of America". Well hellz. After the plane landed and disappeared from view off the taxiways, the PA came back on, apologizing for the delay, and welcoming the President to Honolulu. Really? There are a NUMBER of military strips that could accommodate that plane on the island. You KNOW I was THINKING it... Thanks, Obama..

Yeah I felt the same way about Dan Quale. Was visiting Charleston SC and went down to the battery and was turned away because Dan Quale was attending a function in one of the homes facing the battery.

Can you tolerate any artificial sweetners?
All are horrible to me and alcohol is awful tasting. A result of the bitter gene.

No artificial sweeteners period - though I have found I can tolerate some Stevia in vapes

Certain combinations I can't take either. I can drink coffee but it no sweeteners period - I actually involuntarily gag.

Some alcohol, but again, none sweet. This goes for mixers or naturally sweet liquors and wines.

No nuts (sorry guys!) no seafood, no dairy, it's embarrassing but true

Honey tastes bitter to me too, I have a hard time understanding that it is sweet and tastey to most people

Dairy is no problem. Well except for buttermilk and yogurt. bloody horrible stuff.
Sugar is no problem and I use Clear NuStevia sweetner in my ejuice.
Any artificial sweetner is horrible leaves a chemical taste in my mouth for an hour or so from one sip of diet soda.
Will go thirsty if that is all there is.
Coffee is bitter as heck to me. And iced tea is horrible. Can handle hot green tea.

And ingredients in many flavorings gives me fits. Makes my mouth feel all swollen and kills my taste buds for a day or so.
A few flavors are fine so far. I reject over 50% of the flavors I try.
And have found NO commercial ejuice I can tolerate. Well a couple of the cheap tobacco flavors for the tobacco shop when I first started vaping.
Was doing DIY within 30 days or I would have gone back to cigs.

Mainstream vaping does NOT work for everyone.
I suspect that vapers tongue is just a weak reaction to some flavorings like I have a more serious and quicker reaction.

And yes I can do honey, but it has a bit of a 'whang" to it and I can't do too much.
and spicy stuff? Just forget it it is extremely painful to me.
The cayenne/jalepeno type of spicy, horseradish is ok.

Ginger and curry is hideous.
maybe good for killing bugs or something but to eat it?

I am a supertaster - got tested at UT many years ago so have a hard time of it also

So bad I usually refuse all invitations to dine in other people's homes so as not to offend

Do you like to water down things like OJ, Cranberry juice? I've never done the official test, but especially thick, syrupy drinks or REALLY sweet or tart things.. GAH! I dunno how people can do it. It's like the amp is on 11. Had a piece of carrot cake at a restaurant the other day. Had 3/4" of cream cheese icing on it. MOST of it got left on the plate. It was good, but CLOYING. ACK! WATER!!!

Cranberry Juice???
Might be good for cleaning a toilet but not for drinking.

Things that taste bitter as hell to me just taste a bit sour to most people.
Really sweet things are not a problem.

OJ is a bit strong but I can handle it.
If alc did not taste so bad vodka is good to water it down.

That could very well be

Cheap menthol was all I could vape besides neat and I too went DIY quickly.

I haven't had a bad reaction to any flavorings, but many of them I really dislike and I suspect the type of sweetener, but I'm not sure.

I don't water stuff down typically, I actually love sugar - but can't take it in certain combinations.

I can also tell when food comes out of a can

The bitter gene was discovered while looking for why some people became alcoholics and some did not.
Those with the bitter gene cannot like alcoholic drinks enough to become addicted.
Those without the bitter gene do not really taste the alcohol itself much at all.

The bitter gene is also why some of us are belittled as children as a picky eater.
Many common foods taste bitter to someone with the bitter gene.
Broccoli for instance.
