I got an STM RBA that I never could get to work from FT. I don't think the center post was long enough to make contact with the deck. I pitched it. From that point on I only bought them from authorized dealers here in the US. The TFV4's were a bit airy for me in the beginning but after I got my airflow to where I wanted it I had no problems with it. Those and the STM's are my daily users.
Same thing why I recommended to Andria to get only authentic RBA and or any bases.
The rest of the cloner parts seem ok.

Yep! Another mistake I made from buying STM's from FT. They had a pretty lavender and a Carolina blue STM so I bought them. Both are basically unusable because the center pins don't make good contact on mods. They will register but if the tank moves just the slightest bit(like while using it) the ohm's go to zero and I get a no atomizer reading from the mod. :( And I tried pushing the pin out a little bit but when the tank is screwed down the pin goes back to where it was.

Yep short center pins in the base is a problem with the STM clone bases.

Hmm well this is all food for thought, about the STM RBA heads from FT. Sounds like the one I ordered may or may not work, but at least he does have one, and if the FT one turns out to be defective, I did find them at sweet-vapes for only about a dollar more, so I could grab him one of those after xmas if necessary.

I woke up at freakin 10:30, thx to the end of daylight savings.

Most of the cloner RBA heads I got from FT worked fine, most of the cloner bases did not.

Yeah they gave us our hour back that they took in the spring and paid us not one millisecond of interest on it.

If they gave us some interest they could do away with leap year.

I wish they'd just fucking do away with DST; when DST is in effect, we usually have dinner about 8 or 9 PM, because it's very hard for me to start thinking about cooking dinner when it still looks like fucking AFTERNOON outdoors. Now that we're back to standard time, dinner will be at a much saner time -- likely around 6:30 or 7, so it won't interfere with prime time TV. :)

Morning fugee's and GFY :)

Rascal had me up at the crack of dawn swearing he had to go out but I think he wanted to chase kitties more than anything. Went to the ex's house yesterday and seen the new born puppies. Cute as can be. The momma dog was happy to see me but when the ex handed me a puppy, the momma dog wasnt too sure and got a bit antsy lol Rascal makes some beautiful puppies!

Looks like its going to be a beautiful day today. Rascal and me are going to lounge for a while and then find something to do where we can enjoy some sunshine :D

Took the Wacko SIL to the big city today for a doctors appt.
over 1 hour each way and sucky big city traffic on the other end.
Got there and she had no appt!

For brief moments I wish murder was not illegal or immoral....

Grandson turned 18 last week and dropped out of school Friday...

His next oldest sister had dropped out a few years ago.
Aggravated the wife to help her get an online GED early this year..
Spent $500 on that and I do not think she took the first lesson....

Son left his 4th woman and has another pregnant...
Has children by all 3 out of the 4....

Time to go back to Beta Triangula 6?

CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!

And my son, their father Ripped me for quite a few thousands. Was supposedly going to school which I paid for and put him in housing, etc
Turns out was forging grade slips and such...

I try hard not to hate children, but it is hard....

Yeah I failed as a parent. His mom dumped me and pretty much kept me out of the parenting thing....
She has been thru about 4 men now....

The oldest granddaughter is OK, but the rest....

You can know that at least you tried to do the right thing - helping pay for education is one of the best things a parent can ever do

At some point you have to put the failure where it belongs - on their shoulders

Yep I paid for my own education after HS.
My father died when I was 16.
Mom could not afford it.
Worked 40+ hours a week and went to school 30 hours a week.
Rough couple of years but it set me up for a decent life.
LOL I was young 3 months of that would kill me now :)

Rotten Monday. Been sick as a dog.

I've been feeling under the weather myself, since last night -- just general malaise, feeling... not exactly nauseous, but ... bilious? Just kinda "icky".... then tonight when I was eating supper, I put a bite of hash brown (salted of course) in my mouth, and the *zing* of the salt made the salivary gland just behind the point of my left jawbone go absolutely NUTS, so painful! When I ate the fish, which had malt vinegar on it, it seemed to get better. Then later, watching TV, my husband fixed me a bowl of ice cream -- plain vanilla! -- and that damn salivary gland did it again! So I have no farking clue what is going on with me; I've never felt pain like that in my salivary glands before. I had the mumps vaccine when I was a child; is that one that needs "boosting" later in life?

I didn't know they had the mumps vaccine when we were kids. Because I got the mumps on both sides. Anyway my gland didn't hurt but maybe you have strep throat? I have just an icky feeling all over. And some nausea. And my nose is stopped up. I don't know what's going on.

I wish I could stay in bed again today. But at least I feel good enough to get out of bed and have some coffee. So I'm going to force myself to go to work and hopefully not infect anyone else.

 :)

We are "fostering" our three bigger kids until December. Then, the lady working with the rescue folk will take them for transport to a big adoption event. They will at least go to good people that can let them be the good dogs they at least pretend being for me. *grin*

FIL had a conversation with wife's sister. It was basically the daddy's tough love speech which provided her with an assessment of what it means to her that we're moving out. He said he too had noted a lot of the cumulative things me and wife had known about with her.

To give a quick example, Sunday my wife worked so was out of the home all day, her sister didn't need to go volunteer at the local hospital and had literally sat on her ass all day. Well, as soon as my wife got home it was, "Chris, do you know where the other hot mitt is? I need to get the baked [whatever it was] out of the oven that mom put in for supper." Her sister had all day here and present to have found the needed mitt, but oh no, wait until her sister who worked all day out of the home comes home to put it on her.

Wife's dad got wound up a bit too. The sister had borrowed her granddad's old "big red" Ford pickup to go run the wheels off of it for trivial shit, stuff one would expect a person to logically combine together so as to not 'run' so much. Well, the FIL went to use "big red", that was to no avail as the sister had run it nearly out of gas. There was no offer to pay for gas, no refilling it before she brought it back.

So yes I'll miss my kids but yes I'll be glad when we're no longer here. As my wife said, hers sister and her husband will need to "grow up". We both know though that won't happen. It'll be left to "mom and dad", "Dad, buy me another car, the one I got is broke down because I'm too stupid to maintain it and too stupid to go driving without insurance and get my license suspended, because well I have a deadbeat husband that don't earn enough to help pay for my insurance ...".

Wife's dad in talking to me and wife, "my God, I've already gotten her at least six vehicles." The wife pointed out that he had only bought her one and helped out for repairs on another, she told him "at least I keep mine up best I can."

"Confound it!" I should quit before my blood pressure gives me a "hey dummy" headache. Besides here in a few weeks the chickens will come home to roost when they need to start paying for all the bills my wife paid, and doing stuff me and wife have done to help draw up the slack. :) "La de de la ..." ♪♫♬ tsk. Figure it'll be a real wake up call, although I got my doubts too. *chuckles*

Her dad did compliment me though. "At least I don't have ask you to do stuff. I mean that in the sense of having to constantly keep on you and begging you to help or do something. I come to you or tell you something needs done, you drop whatever your doing, go and do what I need right then and there." :)

Takes all kinds of assholes I think. Unfortunately, some assholes make us good assholes look bad. *grin, chuckles* Hope you get one of those cute pups. I keep telling my wife I need a younger Patter dale terrier to come in and be Shrek's understudy. Old Shrek, not quite sure how old he is now but know he's seen the years. He still "baby sits" me good enough though. Poor old fellow, know i don't make it easy on him but he takes it in stride. :) You be safe and keep the Light flowing along.

Well, I have zero pain in my throat or sinuses, no headache, no fever... just that general malaise feeling for a couple days, then that excruciating pain in the salivary gland. I'm stumped. But I got a good night's sleep last night, and feel better today... so we'll see what happens when I eat my bowl of grits with sausage, eggwhite, cheddar, and lotsa butter (and salt, natch) for "brunch" (it's my breakfast, but at this hour... we'll call it brunch! :giggle:).

When I checked weather.com on my phone a minute ago, I see there are 75 reports of colds, and 18 reports of flu, in vicinity, so maybe it's something like that, but being a non-smoker now, I just don't really notice too much. None of that pneumonic coughing to give me a clue. ;)
