Good thinking - I just received mine from a group buy, cleaned it, put it back together and cracked the tank the entire length of the tube ! Wish I had ordered an extra tank. (PS. I did not think I had tightened it too hard when I cracked it -I have multiple genesis, kayfun, kanger sub tanks, etc. so it was not my first experience with glass tubes - oh well......)Thx for your first hand experience @Rommel. I just ordered one. $35 shipped with an extra glass tube.
That sucks. Myvaporstore has them for 2 bucks. I am having dry hit issues. Maybe I have it toghther too tight.Good thinking - I just received mine from a group buy, cleaned it, put it back together and cracked the tank the entire length of the tube ! Hi @AmandaD , how did the rewicking work for you?It might be like the subtank, in that it works best with extremely thick wicking. I just rewicked mine, so I'll see if that solves my leak!

Yes, but if you don't like ("hated") the kayfun or the subatank nano (two TOTALLY different tanks) , you probably won't like this.I want to try a rebuildable tank again. I'm impressed so far. However, I don't subohm. Would this tank suffice for builds higher than 1.5 ohms and 70/30 eliquid. I had a kafun and a sub tank nano and hated them.

Sounds like the vendor printed up a label and didn't ship it. That's all. Don't let it ruin your life. Relax, take a deep breath, and buy shit in fucking Hawaii if you can't take the wait. Jesus man. Settle down. Go to the b and m an d buy one. Take a nice slooooow vape on all the other shit you have. And REEEELLAAAAXXXXX. Maybe raise your Nic level. My Lemo 2 was stuck in limbo in the USPS tracking system since the 28th... Just checked and it's finally out for delivery. The thing got to Honolulu at 2:30 this morning.
Between 2:30 and now it:
1) Arrived in Honolulu
2) Got sorted
3) Got put in a transfer truck
4) Was sent to my local post office (About 30 minutes from Honolulu)
5) Removed from transfer truck
6) Sorted AGAIN
7) Placed on the delivery truck
And this is all in a matter of about 5 hours... It's more than they were able to accomplish in Anaheim in FOUR DAYS! FUCKERS!
I don't know what they were doing in Anaheim but those guys suck ass! All those bitches had to do was stick the damn thing on a plane! So they either had the slowest plane to ever deliver mail, or put it on the fastest ship on the planet. Neither scenario seems very realistic.
Regardless, I am looking forward to finally working with this thing!

Glad to hear that. Nothing wrong with a little drama.LoL... I'm not really mad... Just being a bit dramatic
Definately seriously of thinking of picking one up this weekend. These comments about dry hits are somewhat concerning. I plan to build nickel coils on this and use it with the SX M so I wont get a dry hit but at the same time, would rather not have to spend my time screwing around with it getting it to wick correctly. Do you think these dry hits are design flaws or possible operator familiarization issues.
If you loosen the top by a quarter turn or so you'll see it start to bubble faster.Personally I think its a design flaw for higher VG, I'm of the belief that the area between the glass and evaporation chamber is too narrow to allow proper wicking with thick juice.
I'm using it on the SX M with a twisted 28g ni200 coil, and while its working OK, its not quite keeping up. No dry hits, or dry wick, but I hear that hiss of juice burning after a hit that would normally result in a dry-ish hit toward the end of a puff using kanthal.
I've only had it a day, but that is my initial thought after trying 97, 90, 80, and 77 VG juice. It keeps getting better with lower VG. I don't have anything lower 77, but I'm sure if you get down to 60/40 or 50/50 juice it would have no problem keeping up. Again on day two, so maybe its my wicking. The bubbles and juice just move soooo slowly between the glass and evaporation channel its hard to believe that's not an issue.
If you loosen the top by a quarter turn or so you'll see it start to bubble faster.
When tightened all the way the glass pushes the bottom oring into the juice channel slowing the wicking up.
I'm running max VG with zero issues after I figured it out.
I could be wrong too, maybe it does restrict the juice channels, next time I take it apart I'm going to try wrenching down on the glass to see if I can put enough pressure on it to actually make the o-ring obstruct the juice channels.Well, maybe I am wrong but if it works and solves the problem regardless of reason.....
The bubbles in mine move very slow as well, and continue for a while after I stop vaping. Also, I only get bubbles out of one channel. Anyone else getting the one channel bubbles?
You just stuff the wick agianst the hole you drill? I cant seem to get mine to keep up with how I like to chain vape. Any gurgling or leaking after you drilled?Fixed my dry hits!! . Even loosening the tank wasn't working for me.![]()

2 minutes with a #50 drill bit. Works like a champ now.
I don't know why they don't do this. I did the same to my subtank RBA and it's amazing now.
Lmao!!!!! Awesome!!!!Fixed my dry hits!! . Even loosening the tank wasn't working for me.![]()

Are you laying it on its side to fill it?Getting discouraged. It's been absolutely fantastic until today. Used the original coil and wick for about a week and decided to bring the resistance down a little and try rayon. It's at .36 ohms. The rayon I'd wicked it with needed changing so I pulled it, did a dry burn and went with the cotton it came with and I can't prevent it from leaking almost as fast as I pour it in. It seems to over-flow into the air hole and out through the air flow control holes. Using 50/50 liquid. The first time I lost an entire tank of liquid. The second time I only filled it about a quarter of the way and let it sit for about 10 minutes. When I didn't see any sign of leaking I filled it the rest of the way and opened the air flow control. Within a couple minutes I lost another tank. All the o-rings are intact. Everything was screwed down tight.
I have a couple of RDA's but this is my first RTA. Am I missing the obvious?

Maybe I didn't ask the right way.... You need to lay it on its side to fill it.I'm filling it as upright as possible. The black o-ring on the chimney is there. Both white o-rings for the tank are there as well as the smaller white o-ring between the lower base and the build deck. When I close the air flow control, screw on the chimney and set the glass in place, when I put my mouth around the glass and suck, I'm not getting any air. When I screw on the top piece and close the filler hole and suck on it I'm not getting any air.
Before I bought this I did a lot of reading about RTA's and one thing I didn't understand is, how is it that when the liquid in the tank is far above the air hole under the coil, why doesn't the liquid just drain out the hole? Could I have not gotten enough wick covering the top of the juice channels to prevent the liquid from flowing freely up and over the air hole? I'll re-wick and try it again. I have to be doing something wrong.
You really have to stuff the cotton in there - wick it so tight it would distort the coil if you pulled it out (you'll have to cut it out).

It's actually better without the cotton against the hole. Like you would with the regular juice channels, leave it open, the pressure holds it back until you inhale. No gurgling or leaking, just nice juicy vapor. You just stuff the wick agianst the hole you drill? I cant seem to get mine to keep up with how I like to chain vape. Any gurgling or leaking after you drilled?
Yes, on the twenty first, you're going to fill it like they tell you.I'VE FILLED IT THE SAME WAY 20 TIMES!
Is there something special with the twenty first?
And the other way is..................?Heh, I guess that's one way to fix it.
It doesn't go out the air hole because vacuum. It must be sealed everywhere but the air hole. Like holding your finger on a straw and picking up the liquid, when you release, it all comes out. Right?I'm filling it as upright as possible. The black o-ring on the chimney is there. You can't ask, you have to tellMaybe I didn't ask the right way.... You need to lay it on its side to fill it.
If its upright its gonna leak.
DO NOT FILL IT ALL THE WAY
you have a leave a decent air bubble.
The tanks are pressure dependant and you need the air bubble to pressirize.
Close the airflow, lay it down, open the fill port, fill it leaving a bubble, close the airport, turn upright, open AFC
