Quiet day here, not complaining at all. Did get a lot done. All the gifts are wrapped & under the tree, cards went out last week. I bought all the food on hubby's list (he cooks the holiday meals!) I think I'm ready. If not, too bad, right?

well it has been an overwhelming two weeks at the shelter. It is always busy during holidays in a domestic violence shelter. I think after 22 yrs of this I am getting tired. I think next year I just want to spend the holiday seeing and hearing good things. Today will be a good day. Two weeks ago I finally tired clockwerk and it was fantastic so my xmas gift to myself I ordered monkey spunk and i think it is called 12:50 or some such and it is getting delivered today. So hopefully when I get home I can make a big cup of coffee, kick back take a deep breath and relax with some new juice. I have the next few days off unless someone calls in sick or the hospital calls with an assault call. Happy New Year all......

i could use a little of some amazing stuff... Right now it is quiet at the shelter and I am hoping that it stays that way for 3 more hours then I will be homeward bound back to the farm. Hopefully TMAXX and the guys are on tonight, the cat is not sleeping on the recliner and I get to kick back.

Very good evening to you all! I have my 'puter running again, A lot of catching up, but it feels so good. The bad news is that we have snow! Going down to 9* tonite. Couldn't get out on the roads today, we have no snow equipment in town, lol. So I had a day off, even got to take a nap. We'll see what tomorrow looks like. You all be safe, see you later.
