Its always had problems. It got bad enough I completely gave up on it a few years ago but the vu site sucks on mobile.

If you do it, get a Narda clone (under $10) on FT and put in a 3mm squonk pin from Fat Daddy's (three for $3.99) and you are in business.
My Derringer is authentic, modded by Catfish, and IMO the Narda clone delivers better taste. My biggest gripe about the Narda is that it has a slight whistle to it. No one has yet been able to make that go away without machine work, lol. Even the authentics whistle some.
EDIT: you do have the file the pin down some, but it is a fast job and super easy
I'll definitely look into it. I've heard alot of good things about the Narda actually. Is the Coppervape a parallel or series mod? Just curious.

They are by far the best bang for the buck mech squonker I know of right now. If they'd have marketed them differently, they could have sold them for a lot more

Worth saving up for though - his prices are amazing for custom wood work
I got his first one on his last batch and I couldn't believe it was only $70
Most modders would try to get a couple of bills for custom jobbers like he puts out
