I'm trying to clone Rex by Opus Elixer, and I'm looking for clues of what they use to sweeten their juice. It's a simple kiwi and strawberry, but it's intensely sweetened.
After dripping Rex, and waiting a few hours, the cotton will oxidize into a pinkish, reddish, brownish color. Could this be the oxidation of Ethyl Maltol or sucralose, what do you think it is? The bottle's juice is clear.
This doesn't happen with most of my other juices like Breezy from Blue Label Elixer, so I suspect it's the sweetner.
