Welcome. I have a Black Cherry recipe I've never tried using Latakia and 7 leaves with a touch of Rasberry. May give it a shot now.
Haven't tried it with raspberry myself yet but it sounds nice. I have a whole notepad of my so called 3-2-1 recipes which are basically the percentages 3 of something, 2 of something 1 of something.
I guess at the time I didn't know any better but it's how I have been creating recipes, basically picking 3 flavours and trying all the 3-2-1 combos to see if any work.. From what I have read so far you guys are mixing on a whole different level.

With a little zen garden this combo is remarkably like "En Plein Air". by Testlab 9 which they describe as "Like inhaling a fresh Parisian breeze".
It was really nice at
4% watermelon
2% cucumber
1% Zen garden
Although my scribbled taste note says needs tweaked and nothing else, I will have another go with this as the Testlab 9 juice is divine.
Also on the menu tonight is maple cookies and Girl Scout mint thin cookies, they sound scrummy.

I'm excited for you. HIC's Maple Cream Cookies was one of the first recipes I mixed and I vaped it for three weeks almost exclusively after that. First on its own, then sometimes mixing it up en tank with about a quarter straight 2% FA Espresso. Oh, it is delicious.
I vaped so much of it that I guess when I make it again, I'll be jolted back in memory to whatever was happening in my life at that time.

Hey, it was one of the first ones of HIC's I made too =)
Fancy coffee was 2nd. Sooo good.
Haven't found the fancy coffee recipe yet but will look it up as I do enjoy a nice coffee and have yet to find even a half decent coffee vape.
Mixed up the two cookie recipes and a macaroon recipe of HIC's as well. Just tried the GS mint cookies in my dropper and it's extremely good, need to go sample a little more now.

I have a blue nicotine test kit I got with a nude nicotine full lab over Xmas. Haven't bothered with it. Probably silly to think VG doesn't mix as well as PG just the thickness scares me.
Was this the Orange Cranberry Macaroon? If not, mix that one up, too! OMG, I LOVE love love that vape.

HIC I mixed your maple cookie recipe months ago and wanted to add some hazelnut to add a nutty flavor. Sadly, I added way too much and ruined it. It took awhile to get the awful tast out of my atty. having used TFA hazelnut for so long I didn't fully appreciate how strong and woody FA hazelnut can be in large doses...after that snafu I fully understand the principle of less is more...
0.5% FA Hazelnut, maybe just 0.25%, would do what you wanted. Yeah, it's a strong one!

HIC, What squeeze bottles do you use? I premix mine into 240ML glass bottles, which is awesome for storage but really becomes a pain to use when it's time to mix it. The idea of a few squeeze bottles with my mix in premeasured would make life much easier!
I placed an order at MamaJ's for my top 4 "maybe someday I will buy..." FA flavors.

The Custard, well one really should have more then one type. HIC says Jamaican Rum is one of FA's best flavors. I wasn't impressed with TFA's which had put me off of that flavor. I have TFA's Lemon and thought that was good enough for a lemon flavor, but could FA's be better? I will know in a few days. Still on the maybe list, White peach, Fiji Apple.and nearly every FA flavor I don't already have.

That will be so much easier, put my flavoring in the 15 or 30ml bottle I'm mixing then top it off with the base, no muss no fuss! And much easier then trying to balance a syringe in a glass bottle that it doesn't fit into the neck of
Love the idea of no chain stores, in the Phoenix suburbs it is sometimes hard to find stores that are not part of a chan. When I lived in Des Moines, IA, I sometimes went weeks without going to a chain store. I had my meat market, Italian market, oriental market and other small stores within 5 miles of my house. My hardware store was about 4 blocks from me and had been there for 60 years and we never ate at chain restaurants. Now in the burbs we have to drive to older parts of Phoenix to find the same experience. Maybe when we retire I can find a smaller city close enough to medical treatment that I need so I can have the best of both worlds.
I hear you I haven't bought food in a supermarket in 25 years...if I had to buy meat in a supermarket I'd turn vegetarian.....when I lived in San Francisco..I'd walk home 1st stop would be at the butcher,2nd stop at the produce store,3rd stop at the bakery,and if it was friday the last stop would be at the florist to get flowers for my wife...and every nieghborhood in the city was the same way......I live in Oakland it's a little more spread out but not to bad......I know it's a little more expensive,but the quality is better,and the small bussiness appreciate the bussiness and will cut you a deal from time to time.I talk to my butcher we trade stories about our kids,bitch about our wives,and trade fantasys of fishing trips we'd go on if we had the money and the time...
Ain't we all working on the perfect vanilla? I like about .5-.75% of fa coconut with it. .25% of fa tiramisu or .25-.5% FA Irish cream. You could add some marzipan. I need to try with a small amount of rum to see what happens.

Yes Huck it was that one, although I had to substitute orange cream for FA orange, still v.nice though. Thin mint cookies are gorgeous too, will be making more of these mixes at the weekend. Still working through what additional flavours I need to order before Friday so I get them On Saturday. Guess we are lucky here having next day deliveries direct from flavour art, you guys in U.S. seem to wait a long time for mail to show up.

If he only drips, then no. If he wants to put it in a tank it may need to be diluted.
@Daintanee Not necessary but 2% H2O drops the goopiness down a notch, and supposedly helps steeping time by lowing the viscosity and allowing the molecules to do their magic voodoo better, idk. Dripping 100% vg on a cold night is so gloopy I end up making a mess somehow.
Close to 5% water and the vape feels slightly steamy, sometimes I'll suppress a cough while cloud chasing because the moisture will catch me off guard. This is actually steam so it's warm if you can handle it, somebody smarter than me might know if that's bad for you, something about pneumonia

Well I've gotten a lot of goodies since posting last...my istick, my first rda - still waiting on the ones I really want - but this little igo-l is okay for now - and my first order of VT nic.
I'm sold on the nic and I needed not worry, plenty of TH on both the regular and TH one - so all is good there...I can't really tell on the taste yet because I'm in the middle of bad allergy stuff and can't taste much but I can taste enough to tell there is no weird musky smell or peppery taste to it and that's a big 'ol plus
I'm also sold on dripping - this was my first attempt at building and um.....I'm embarrassed to say I didn't take to it like a duck to water but I managed to figure it out - after burning a few holes in stuff....I made sure to check the coil before putting it on my battery but I was not aware how fickle building can be - it looks so easy on youtube ... I think I figured out what I was doing...I was tightening the screws too much and I guess it smashed the wire, made it thinner, hot spot, SNAP! fiery red hot tiny coals flying everywhere.
Or does my theory not hold up?
I made sure the coil was not touching anything, I have those ceramic tweezer thingamajigs because I don't trust myself with regular tweezers and always check for shorts before putting it on the battery.
So I have a question - during one of those hot spot things, the coil actually moved, like a tiny invisible finger pushed it down toward the deck and toward the center post.
Scared the hell out of me.
I immediately stopped and took off the coil - and I had checked it before putting it on the battery - no short, and it was about 1.4 ohms.
Anyone have that happen? Was that due to tightening the screws too much like I think?

I tried some rum in a bunch of vanillas, creams....No custard. I like the coconut, marzipan, rum in it at .5-.75%, a drop of tiramisu...1-2 Irish cream. Do look up Hics Irish lass recipe, it's good. Doesn't taste coffeeish until next day. His Irish lass is 1% Vienna, 1% Vanilla classic, 1% Irish cream...it's real good.@Daintanee I made this last night, YUM. Thank you! Some things to keep in mind:
You need to pulse the initial warm up of the coil. Don't just hold down the button while it warms up your first time. Press the button for 1 second release the button for a few. Repeat.
Start at a low wattage for your pulsing. for a 1.4 ohm coil of 28g wire, 5 to ten watts is enough to heat it quickly.
Tighten the screws until they are snug (technical term), If you crank down on them you will cut the wire. This takes practice.
If your coil legs are heating before the coil, fiddle (strum,squeeze, etc.) with the coil. Pulsing in between fiddling.
When the coils start heating, fiddle with the hottest one first. pulse some more and repeat until both coils are heating evenly. Once that happens, wick them, test the ohms again and put some juice on them.
I've had the problem you have had and it has mostly been because I applied too much power too fast.

Well this answers some of my oopsys! I'm just proud I didn't start a fire! I built a coil and tested ohms, then wicked, put in tank, fired up my ego and killed the battery. Put coil on mod to check ohm and said non. I totally see the importance of regulated mods. I think I could mess up even if I knew what I was doing. I'm just lucky that way....don't feel bad @ouzel I'm right with ya

LOL! Yeah, It is easy to kill an ego battery. In fact I just purchased two more as last week I gave away setups to three new vapers that are trying to quit smoking or dipping. I was ordering bottles from MFS and noticed that they had 650 mah adjustable ego batteries for $7 and I now need some back ups for my Nautilas.
I know you can use a dripper on an ego, but you need to keep the ohms above 1.6.

I only burned a hole through a plastic bag and a little black scorch mark inside of an empty drawer At least we have stories for the young 'uns in the year 2058 ...."Pfffffft, back in the day, we had to build our own coils! I did the same thing you did a number of times and fried a few coil legs in my time. Stuff happens. Commendable use of tech term buttload, ouzel; particularly with cotton.It DOES help
