Has anyone (ever, anywhere) gotten any use out of FA Cappuccino? I don't like it standalone (can mix better capp myself), and I've never had any inspirations for mixing with it. But my poor flavoring bottle sits there all neglected. Surely it has some use. Anyone?

C, mon , this is just great, really great , just when i thought i had tried them all , two from TFA , two from FA, one from FW, i think thats it , still a work in progress.

In case you haven't noticed, i think it's only fair to say that i am not the most experienced on these forums , wouldn't even say i'm "mildly experienced " .

I'm guessing a three year time span before people would consider me "somewhat experienced" , and if all goes really well i think it's not to far of a stretch that people would consider me as "having a clue " but thats if i over achieve .

And so your journey begins... ;) I currently have around fifty tobaccos flavors...

TFA horchata 8%, TFA marshmallow 2%, TFA cotton candy 4%.

Just for the unaware, TFA Horchata has >10% courmarin, banned as US food additive in 1954. Be particularly alert if you take anticoagulants such as warfarin, etc.

Coumarin interferes with blood thinners? I didn't know that.
Here are all the TFA flavors listed as having coumarin: http://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/specsheetlist.aspx?cas=119-84-6
Nearly all include custard note ingredients, too - maybe few of us use them, but I'll post this anyway, in case someone searches for coumarin info.

haha - one suggestion was right in front of me. I mixed 2% FA Cappuccino with 1% FA Tiramisu to try this idea. I've always said FA Cappuccino doesn't have the flavor of their Fresh Cream. Now I think I recognize it as FA Marshmallow. How about that! Cappuccino is coffee-scented marshmallows.

In standalone Tiramisu, the cake is just a very subtle background, but Marshmallow sure brings it out. Hmm, tiramisu marshmallows - I'll vape this batch without complaint; it's ok.

I did FA Capp and FA Irish Cream last week. Not bad at all.

It's not too early to get rolling on holiday recipes!

I have 3 different apple ciders steeping right now. Yes, sometimes I do that! The spices need a chance to mingle and develop.
I'm gonna run all three past all my local vape friends to see the popular opinion this weekend. There's one I like best - spicy, boozy, warm, applicious. I keep stealing drops to taste from that bottle. I'll be vaping some awesome cider when I carve pumpkins THIS year!

So what genius ideas do you all have for storing your flavorings?

Oh, that's gotta be challenging to sort through!

Mine is super-simple: snack-size baggies, bottles sitting upright in soldier rows, packed into a Tupperware tub (or two), stored dark-and-cool. I'd definitely recommend getting those purevapes bottles all sitting upright before they start leaking into the lids.

I keep mine in plastic boxes with little compartments - craft boxes. But I keep having to buy more, because I keep buying more flavors LOL

Actually, I lied. I STILL use the fishing lure box (it's got most of my meh flavors in it). It's the largest flat one I could find. Plus one whole cigar box. And a couple baggies. And the 4 drawer metal box thingy. I'm running out of space too.

If you look think you'll notice only TFA Horchata seems off the charts (i.e. >10%).
Yeah, coumarin is bad if ingested in HIGH quantities. In fact there was a study on on vaping cinnamaldehydes (coumarin). They were only cytoxic if you vape the pure flavor extract. No one does that. I'm not a physician, or a research scientist, but at the levels consumed by vaping, I wouldn't worry a whole lot about it - unless you're on blood thinners, I guess.

This. Great for 50 4-10ml vials; easy transport from frig to mixing and back; $11. PV samples are too small to read labels in place and using bubble wrap over their top to prevent inverting.

Believe that was cinnamon rather than coumarin. Coumarin does often makes its way into the food supply via Cassia cinnamon and vanilla derived from tonka beans (i.e. cheap sources). Recent hullabaloo and health warnings over coumarin contamination in cinnamon sticky buns from this source. Haven't looked at dosing but >10%? Vaping bypasses many digestive defenses against toxins so hopefully we all make informed choices. Cheers!

mmmmm...ouzo! Slurrrp! I'd love that.

I've heard nothing negative about Atmoslab, and it looks like they're on par with FA regarding ingredients. I'm not clear whether their reformulations are complete. I can't read any of their MSDS sheets - can you? It's literally all Greek to me, lol! Kaimaki, Vodka, and a couple others caught my eye. It's expensive compared to FA, but 4-for-3 pricing and free shipping lightens the load. I dunno. I have so many to-do projects already, I'll resist for now.

4-for-3 appears to be only on the ready-mixed :(
And there seems to be a problem with the site - after adding 4 ready-mixed to my cart to check, I now get shown blank pages!!

Good idea. The biggest I have laying around is 40cal. Also looking at organizers for lipstick, hobby paint and tattoo ink on amazon.

Wow, you are a person with varied interests.
Ha! I'm not interested in any of those things. Really, I swear. What are you trying to say?:D

So, lets change the subject. I really like FA cocoa but man it gunks things up quick.

That's a great idea. I have several boxes like this one, organized by brand. A piece of sandpaper takes the ridges off the cap so I can then write one or two of the first letters of the name. Works well. I have some in glass bottles too, which I don't care for. I mix by weight and dropper tops are nice and clean compared to having to use separate droppers or pipettes.Flavors.jpg

(I knew that, you tatooed art-vixen, lol)

Yes, Cocoa is about the darkest FA makes, definite clog potential there. I keep the percent as low as possible, boost it with Chocolate when I can, mix with other flavors to minimize the amount I need... add extra water, and vape with low power. I wouldn't bother with all that if I didn't love the way it tastes. Those 'features' are the big giveaway that it's the main ingredient in Halo's Belgian Cocoa juice.

Before I found FA, I used some chocolates from Capella, Flavor West, and TFA (and vaped Halo dessert flavors). All of them were similarly 'cloggy' but without the benefit of the great flavor.

I got up this morning wondering about that Amoretti site again. I found they have a store section, and they have water soluble flavorings. Prices range from....... NINETEEN DOLLARS TO THIRTY FIVE FOR TWO OUNCES... I dare anyone to buy the shiitake mushroom flavor.

dude. I emailed them and they asked me to call them . this chick robyn helped me out. I told her what my use was and she said they sold to several vape companies. hmmmm now I wonder who lol. so anyways she was super nice and told me what some of the options were and asked if I wanted some free samples to try and which ones . I was pretty shocked and said yes and thank you haha. the menu is pretty huge so I said surprise me. I told her I would tell all my friends. so I am :D I also asked about the bulk sizes and if they had smaller stuff. she said no order was to big or small. they did wholesale and retail. so I am guessing if we just got ahold of her she would work something out. cant wait to see what arrives !

haha ya she offered some samples of a few water soluble and a couple oil ones . going to give it a whirl . some I might just use in the kitchen but a couple sounded almost maybe ok to vape lol. I was pretty caught off guard when she offered the flavors I forgot to ask the key questions. knowing me ill probably still vape a toot or 10 of all the ones they send before it goes to kitchen use. but ya robyn is the bees knees. Ill send you her contact info if you want

I do a lot of lifting and checking labels atm... I need to divide my brands, TFA and FW all mixed together, no rhyme or reason... My FA and INW are pretty easy to find. INW doesn't see much love though...

I just spent nearly an hour searching for my FA Mango, which I knew I had, 'cos my spreadsheet said so, 4ml. Seems it was wrong :(

Good thing I do have the Inawera Mango, so I could attempt...

recipe-image-legacy-id--820_12.jpg

This is NOT finished, just a first cut that still needs to steep (Pistacchio mellows a lot):

2% Pistacchio
2% Mandarin (could go 3%)
1% Mango (e-aromat)
1% Meringue
0.5% Cream Fresh
0.5% Brandy

But it definitely has promise :D

Ugh, that's the only one I'm missing, too. It's in my Bull City cart. I need to check if they have syringes. My last 2 bit the dust tonight while I was mixing dammit! I had to fudge the last mix, but got thru the first 4, thankfully. I made HICs Vanilla Nut Coffee, Coffee Break, wllmc's lemon lime and Yooperdad's Banana Nut Bread. The last one I'll post if it works out.

I would like that without the Pistachio for sure, sounds like creamy-mango-triple-sec. Mmm! I'm still trying to like FA Pistachio. It tastes very raw and natural, kinda woody IMO.

I used to keep flavors sorted by companies. Now what seems to work for me is -- I alphabetized all the flavors and are stored on a shelf to table where I mix. When mIXing a recipe wIth multiple flavors makes it easier to find flavors by name.

Yeah, I like it, but it's not really ideal for this. Might have to try Atmoslab's version!

I would always bump the box when taking some out to mix and the remainder would fall over. Here's another option for open storage for under $5. 12ga shots work for vials up to 14ml.
