Hope you enjoyed playing with that! Did you try it with the tiny tiny bit of marzipan?
Thats one flavor I dont have, but Ive just added it to my cart. ... sigh....... I seem to order something almost every week or so.

How much is a "tiny bit" ? For future reference. Ive not yet used Marzipan. (Sounds like Peter Pans sister)

(actual) ozone, according to the American Lung Assn: "Ozone is an invisible gas made of three oxygen atoms (O3). Ozone is often referred to as smog."

ohhhh, yeahhh - vapin' smog.. Beijing in a bottle ..

I do not own FA Ozone, because it sounds like a "whatzat" flavor, like Oba Oba and Hypnotic Myst. Am I missing out on something great?

Do you like amaretto? Marzipan is the key to getting the flavor of my favorite brand: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-amaretto-disoranno.1848/

I have had it when I was younger and remember it being tasty and somewhat unforgetable. Its a good vape then?

Hey, get your head out of the clouds a minute......:)..... I mixed up another one of your juices I cant pronounce a while ago........earlier today. Its really smooth. What was it, about 8 ingredients ? ...........That Frying pan Juice....:)......... Oh yeah, The Pear-Apple Frangipane :D

I dont know why Im telling you how good it is.......You designed it, you already know how good it is.

Brother, you can really put together the flavors !! Much appreciated HIC !!

Standalone FA Butterscotch is not a Werther's candy... approach with caution.

Such a bully that one can be. It's the main flavor in this recipe, despite all those other ingredients: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-pot-o-gold-whiskey-caramel-pudding.17737/ Custard and Vienna hold down his arms, and Whiskey whips him into submission -('scuze me, someone left the lid open again....)

Anyway, that recipe has become a favorite of mine, very nice pudding.

OMG my list of needed flavors keeps growing :p what is Ozone as a flavor?

This is from FlavourArt- A full bodied background that blends well with delicate floreal [sic] top notes. Light on vape but with personality. Use from 2% in eliquid.

Hard to describe, especially since I haven't tried it stand alone but it did help the Quince. Now I want to try it again with pear. Pear is always so delicate for me.

Marzipan is one of my favorites. Disaranno is really sweet and can be tough to drink much of for me but I like pairing it on the rocks with a stout cigar once in a while. My favorite pairing lately is Madeira. Kinda tough to find a nice bottle though.
A Stout Cee-Gar. :D Do you swish the end around in your beverage ? Ive just seen that in the movies

Ha, no i've never tried that one. If you slime the tip up too much it makes it hard to get a good draw so I wouldn't recommend it.

@HeadInClouds I just doubled the pear on the Pear-Apple Frangipane.......for fun. It certainly didnt mess it up. It seems, as you were saying, that You can make this into several different vapes out of the same base. Wonder what Fuji Apple would do to this ? Hmmmm.

May try that tomorrow.. ;) This is fun

I'd expect APPLE Frangipane with APPLES on top. Fuji seems to stick out more than Apple, which is fine if you like that flavor.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement and advice on flavoring percentages . Great advice and feel much better about increasing the flavors. Each and everyone of you are so very kind. YOU ALL ROCK.

Amanda, I am going to get my REO up and running tomorrow. No excuses.

Oggy thank you very much for the offer to help on coils.

HIC, I made your Creamsicle today with the higher ratio you put in the notes and alas I can taste it beautifully. I really love the mandarin. I have tried the orange before but the mandarin is fabulous as well as that recipe.

I've still been working on this fruity mix right now I'm up to 2% pineapple, 2% papaya, 1% custard, 1%peppermint, and 1% amber. The amber is doing good things knocking back the dryness of the fruits so I'm not craving the sour anymore but it has also moved the peppermint more toward a candy cane flavor and has pushed the custard back a bit I think. I don't mind the candy cane and I'm sure after a couple of days the custard will recover but I'm interested to see if a little steeping is going to have a big effect on these fruits and change everything around. Anybody know if papaya and pineapple fade badly? How does peppermint steep? A 30ml is going to last me a couple weeks the way alternate my juices in the dripper so I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and do a full slow cooker steep and decide how much I want to bump up the things that will fade.

i think a few days will bring this recipe together pretty good. the pineapple and papaya will hold up fine for a few weeks. that peppermint will probably stay pretty strong. not sure how present you want it but might try lower next time. I personally wouldnt crock pot that recipe. it will still need a couple days to relax anyways.

You might be right about cutting the peppermint. Before the amber it was like a little mint muddled in your cocktail but now the working title is definitely "Christmas in Hawaii". The original idea was just a touch to make it a more memorable vape but it is really tasty standing out a bit. Its certainly still papaya/pineapple in your face.

As for the steeping I'm kinda leaning toward mixing all my recipes with crock potting in mind. It seems to get things at least 90% mature and no real surprises down the road after that. More experience could certainly change my mind about that.

peppermint and menthol are funny.. used at .5% and under makes a lot of change.. :)
I think it might be because the flavor is standing out in the throat and nose rather than competing on the tongue. It does make for an interesting vape the way it layers and is always present at different stages of the inhale/exhale than the fruits and sweets.

Hello All Finally finished reading all the thread and am officially caught up. Seemed like every time I was getting close you all would step on the gas and pull ahead. Now I can introduce myself and Thank you all for generously posting such great recipes. 20 of which I made tonight. I happened to notice something while making the recipes this past month. And that is you all seem to really like FA cookie. It seems like every recipe called for it. So now I am out and need to place another order. (Damn Enablers) :)

Howdy, cookie is a useful flavor. HIC said it has acytel pyrazine in it which effects the other flavors in your mix. For me it does wonders for FA custard.

edit: Also, chocolates and peanut butter effects.

I am starting to learn this about the cookie. It works well in many juices.

Ive worn out my bottles of Apple Pie for crust the last couple months..... I have a feeling Im about to do the same learning all the uses for cookie.

Yes - I think amaretto makes a very tasty vape...sweet, smooth, complex, almondy yum. I like it with a little fresh cream (real or vape)

actually i use it in place of koolada.. both can not be tasted..
but rather the fade effect of koolada.. the menthol will not fade..

Does anyone know of a good flavor company that has a good butterscothch flavor ? Like something to make a butterscotch Ice cream perhaps ?

Do you vape...THOSE ingredients? Flavor West's is very much a candy flavor, but according to their own disclosure it has over 1% acetoin.
You CAN get any butterscotch flavor you want from FA's version. But you have to back into it. Get the cream, vanilla, and sweetness right, then slooowly add the Butterscotch. Depending on the other flavors you're using, it can hide or POP out.

It definitely has that effect but tastes more natural to me than menthol. I have an aversion to menthol. At lower percentages it would definitely be my choice if I want that effect but also at higher percentages it can be a nice peppermint flavor as well. I like it.

You guys are wonderful and awful at the same time. ;)

I placed 2 orders last night.... yea that's right not one but two.
I made a list of flavors I have (that was a job in itself) before placing so I'd be sure to get those flavors I don't have.
I already have another list going...
It's funny how flavors I didn't think I had interest in can really help out a mix.
Anyone know offhand how many flavors FA has in their ecig line that is not tobacco?
I'm just going to have to count them all and see how many I don't have now... can't be many right?

Got a question for you HIC. while planing to try some of your recipes I noticed quite a few that require TFA Brown sugar. I was getting low so resupplied via Wizard Labs. While mixing tonight I finally noticed that my old bottle did not have the word extra on it and was a dark brown color. While the new one was clear. Have you tried both and which one was included in your recipes?
