This is a very agreeable evening vape for my overworked taste buds:

1% FA Papaya
1% FA Coconut
1% FA Banana
1% FA Pineapple

I like every possible pair from that group, and they blend together very pleasantly.
Coconut is a good one to add to fruit blends; it adds creaminess, so you don't have to.

toss in some mad fruit on that too.. :p

Ah Smoky, I've been meaning to say Thank You for the link to that calculator. I have always used ejuicemeup and really saw no need to look further. I am glad I did, I love this one! Two thumbs up here. :D

Custard? I like Forest Fruit a lot, but I like it better with creamy-sweet-something added.
Yeah, I'm going back to the drawing board on this, Ha! I think what I'm really after is the FF with just that top note of orange instead of balancing them out. Going to try with Custard or maybe Cocoa instead.

A few of us posted our must-have TFA flavors here: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/all-things-tfa.4765/
Post #51 is @Cramptholomew 's list
..and @Thunderball has probably used TFA more extensively than most DIYers.
@Dixie. These 3 lists are a really good representation of what's good in TFA , but I wouldn't buy them all. I would certainly book mark them though.

Unfortunately I kept myself wrapped up in the idea that TFA was THE flavor company to use. Since stumbling into this thread I've learned how very wrong I was .

The calibre of mixers in this thread has astounded me . It may be an FA thread, but you will find that if there is a better flavor for a certain task, they are quick to say so.

After I made my first recommended fruit order of FA, I was beside myself at the quality difference. I was mad that I spent so much time on all TFA. You will read earlier posts of mine where I bashed TFA after reformulating some of my recipes with FA . I should not have done that in retrospect. There is a place for some TFA flavorings, but as a new diyer, I would recommend going through all the recipes that you want to try and just ordering those particular flavors unless you just have the money and time to test all of those flavors.

The extra shipping is nothing compared to the waste of money and time ordering huge lots if them. After a while of reading, mixing and vaping, you'll start mixing your own originals and tweaking those of others .

That's the way it has worked out for me anyway . Your mileage may vary :)

Excellent advice, Tball.

Dixie, he really did try and beat himself up over it. I'm glad he stopped, cuz we're having a ball with him here!

After I order all the FA flavorings I want I could not afford to buy bigger TFAs lol so I went through TPA site for only 6 and will order bigger bottles later, the TPA site is good for ordering bigger bottles from.:p
I guess maybe I don't mix much as most but it seems to me these little sample bottles I have aquired will last a good while. The most I ever mix at one time is 15 mil. I can only vape so much.

I figured if I run out of one I would just get a bigger bottle next time.

That's exactly how I gauged mine. If the 4ml ran out and I really enjoyed the flavor, I got a 30ml. If the 4ml ran out fairly quickly, I got a 15ml if it's a side note type of flavor.

Update on the recipe I've been working on. I went ahead and crock potted 10ml of my Christmas in Hawaii for 8 hours last night. After sitting for an hour or so I would say I haven't noticed much of a change at all other than a nice color change. I have noticed that usually they do need to rest for a day or two after crock potting before they are really mature. I had a little bit of the pre-amber recipe left over that I was vaping yesterday that had become significantly more custardy and less pepperminty. The papaya/pineapple has seemed to stay consistent from fresh, to sitting on the desk for a couple days, and after crock potting. We will see if it changes much over the next couple of days. I am expecting the custard to speak up.

Brown Sugar Extra, Cheesecake GRAHAM CRUST, Red Hots, Holiday Spice? or is it Cinnamon Spice?, Acetyl Pyrazine (5%) if you use VapersTek nic and want to make HIC's chocolates,... what am I missing here? I don't have that many that I use frequently. Order direct from TFA for better options with all the side notes for custard notes and diacetyl.
Banana nut bread. I'm also a fan of key lime.

WL is out of the graham crust and acetyl stuff uhg and I so like them because you get twice the amount of flavoring for the same price as at TPA:oops: oh and vanilla swirl too is out:eek: I am just a bit grumpy don't mind me lol;)
Bull City. Enjoy.

My approach so far is that I order in the sample bottle from purevapes so that I can get the little 1% drops in a 3 ml base for experimenting and if a flavor makes it into a recipe in my weekly rotation I go ahead and order a bigger bottle.

Yep, forgot banana nut bread. I haven't had the key lime, but I hear it's good. Since trying @wllmc's creamy lemon lime I decided not to. I like that recipe a lot.
I like cold press as well, I like lime! But they are definitely two different flavors!

yup samples from purevapes then 10 ml bottles from bull city vapor. i fill up those little 3ml bottles with the 10's usually. tho the FA original bottles are close enough to 33 drops per ml sometimes I just go straight out of the bottle with them. wish I lived next door to bull city vapor. would make my life so much easier lol

I had made several orders this past week and the first of them started coming in today. I will have to say that Bull City beats the other three in shipping time. Wow.

Well WL keeps running out of the flavors I want ugh anyone know the absolute must haves for TFA?o_O
me and vanilla swirl had a love hate relationship. I loved it so much I vaped it until I hated it. for me the must haves from TFA usually contain custard notes so just grab all those, hahaha kidding. my must have list is growing smaller but the ones I like to keep around but never use are dulce de leche, bavarian cream , marshmallow, double chocolate dark. must haves are apple candy , brown sugar , A.P. , holiday spice

Smoky, go unflavored for about an hour and you'll love mixing again. I stay in a mixing funk for weeks at a time. Not very creative.

Yes they do! Made several orders at the same time the other night...BC arrived today, NN just sent shipping notice, and RTS hasn't shipped yet. Bull City ships crazy fast...and now I have a sampler of VT nic to play with!

Still waiting on FA cola though...

ive been hearing alot about this certain juice its like peanut butter , banana, and caramel I havent tried it but what sounded better to me was peanut butter, banana, walnuts and honey. did HICs peanut butter with the main ingredients only http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-homevape-peanut-butter-no-custard-note-ingredients.4807/ didnt come out like I planned, was thinking more along the lines of Ice cream but none the less it turned out good. this is aloooooot of flavoring and I can already see it will need a couple days steep at least for everything to chill out but if anyone wants to mess around a little its a fun one

(t-ball add name here )

3% TFA a.p.
3% FA banana
2% FA caramel
2% FA vienna cream
1.5% FA walnut
1% FA hazelnut
0.25% FA honey
3 drops per 10 ml inawera banana. ( optional but helped boost the FA banana anymore and it turns to runts candy)

Yeah, I skipped that one. Not sure why.... Next order. I wonder if I could up the lemon 0.5% and add some fresh cream to get the same effect...
if you were making a multiple flavor recipe you might be able to "reproduce" the enough to get away with not using it but as a star flavor of a recipe it might be a little tougher. I remember the first time I got custard. I had it stuck in my head no matter how many reviews I read it was going to be vanilla custard. it was terrible !!!! I didnt try it again for months until it snapped in my head its lemon lol. sheesh what a fail that was. now I love it. it has that certain creaminess that most the FA have.

I guess its kinda like getting some plain yogurt when you were expecting some Dannon fruit on the bottom. But its actually better because you can make a lot more with the plain yogurt then you can with the fruit stuff.
