I think she comes outta the woods a block away I'd see an entrance hole in my yard if there was one.
Yes I have been thinkin about containers but like plantin in the yard.

Yes but you mentioned how cages don't help when they can just dig under. That was what got me started thinking about the solution, and the physical danger of digger tunnels in your garden.

Hi Jimi,

There’s something pretty powerful about stepping outside, harvesting something you grew yourself, and bringing it straight into the kitchen.
It’s one of the reasons we believe so strongly in helping people grow their own food.
But what we grow is only part of the story. How we use that food to nourish ourselves and the people we love matters, too.

That’s why we wanted to share a new FREE 9-part documentary series called Healing Kitchen: Let Food Be Thy Medicine.

>> Watch the Healing Kitchen trailer + get free access

What caught our attention about this series is how closely it connects with so much of what we talk about here at Grow Your Own Vegetables — nutrient-dense food, eating seasonally, healthy soil, reconnecting with nature, and making the most of the foods and herbs we grow.

Healing Kitchen Banner
Throughout the 9 episodes, you’ll explore topics including:
🖤The importance of nutrient-dense foods, seasonal eating and reconnecting with where our food comes from
🍅Gut health and ways to nourish the trillions of beneficial microbes living inside us
🖤Foods, herbs and recipes for supporting immune, brain and cardiovascular health
🌿Plant-based ingredients and traditional kitchen remedies
🖤Food and herbs for sleep, energy, skin, hair and healthy aging
🫜The connection between healthy soil, pesticide-free food and our own well-being

You’ll also meet farm-to-table chefs, herbalists, wild food foragers, small farmers, natural health practitioners and holistic nutritionists who share recipes, traditions and their perspectives on food and wellness.

>> Get FREE access to Healing Kitchen

For those of us who already love growing fresh food, I think this could be a fascinating next step in the journey — exploring even more of what those plants can offer once they reach our kitchens.

We hope you enjoy it!

That makes me so sad when I think of how you love the animals in your kingdom, and always try to find a way to accommodate them peacefully.

Yes but no way to control what they do. The kid who always goes in our garden now started kickin his Soccer ball against my neighbors house and my others neighbors newly plank sided garage when they aren't home and he doesn't have someone to play with. I am glad I am home a lot
