Nichrome which has nickel in it (n80 as an abbreviation) is good in power mode, but just stay away from nickel and titanium unless you're going for temp control and know what you're doing. Take a look at that. But with dual coils and 26g 316L SS at 3mmID you should need about 8 wraps per coil, and Kanthal A1 it'd be 4 wraps per coil same specs.
Pop it in to steam engine, choose your wire type, then the gauge, then single or dual coil, input your desired resistance, then put the diameter of what you're going to wrap your coil around for "inner diameter" and it should give you an answer.What about 24G how many wraps on a ss coil?
