to me after watching that vid the first step is to staff up the ones responsible for processing the asylum applications for a speedy resoloution.
I suspect they have not been staffed up and had tight budgets on purpose though to slow down the number that gain asylum status.

If the retardicans and their companies stopped hiring them, it would slow down. That won't happen, because they love cheap labor. Rick Perry wanted to get rid of the minimum wage, so they could pay Americans the same low wages that they pay illegals.

Unions for temporary workers with h-2a visas made sure that the employers/politicians treated them like humans, paid them minimum wage as agreed, housed in a livable condition as agreed, pay them overtime as agreed, basically follow thru with what the contract says! These are just some of the reasons why employers/politicians love illegal immigrations...
You should’ve said, the guest worker program was eliminated or not widely use, because greedy employers/politicians don’t want to follow the provisions of hiring temp workers!

H-2B visa is a program for non-agricultural labor workers . Software companies like google, Facebook,Microsoft, yahoo, apple,and many more out there use this program more often! People under this program are paid well, provided housing, transportation, etc.... temporarily!
Guest workers under this program are more likely to obtain GREEN CARD or RESIDENT CARD due to the skill level they have and with the help of the sponsor/employer!

Many places where they have done away with unions is where illegals work.
Meat packing, building trades, Illegals and semi legals do most all the work with Tobacco here in KY.
US citizens are too spoiled and lazy to do most jobs that illegals do.

In Fl when I lived there they made it illegal to haul people in the back of a pickup unless they were migrant farm workers.

Yeah I mean if the Maximum Starting wage was eliminated.... Wages might have kept up with inflation..... between the wage CAP of the minimum wage and uncontrolled dilution of the work force via immigration. I'm surprised we are doing as well as we are.......
