They need one same size ipv d2.

Well, that's the mod makers, not the chip maker.

The 133/2oo are the same physical board
The 75 is a smaller footprint board. Personally I would love to if it fits in the old hanamini box or vsdna40 box.

I can live with 50w for 80% of vaping needs. I don't go crazy till I'm at home and done for the day, so smaller mod works great for me

Might I borrow the gem? I promise to give it back one day
The GEM is one of the most flavorful RTAs I own, couldn't part with it. :D
I tried a Kayfun Mini V3 to see if it would replace the GEM but not even close, not even in the same park....

Lol, the v5 replaced every tank I own, from the Erl for flavor to the billow v3 for vape production.
The gem is one that I have always wanted though.

Those really are dinky.
I just watched Phil's Pico review, which wrapped up a 6 or 7 parter on mini-mods.
Some 40/50 watters that size or even less.
Amazing little things.
The Mini Volt will do 40W but not for long. A 0.8 to 1.1 ohm build (sweet spot range) at 20W lasts all day depending on your vape style. I do have a Pico as well and love it, pondered the Nugget but we'll see what's available down the road.

I'll have to go watch the long winded reviewer's take on min-mods.

You should. The last 20 min of the Pico one re-capped the others, somewhat.

I only don't have any because their relatively small LiPos don't really support my 30-50+w, medium subOhm, lung hit only vaping. And I SS TC most of the time.

They're still fascinating, and worth keeping my eye on. I do own an AIO for driving. :p

Hmm that one got by me looks interesting. I'm getting a 75 or triple 18650 dna next soon as wife calms down lol.

I just ordered the lost vape triade. 125 on ecig.com. I had 50 bucks in store credit and had a 10% off coupon code. So I paid 62.50. So excited for it to show up. Heard good things about it. I've been on a spending spree. Got the duo arriving today. Mini volt, noisey cricket just showed up. Goon rda and a couple tanks on the way. I
need to slow down but with the looming deeming regs, I'm just stocking up. Check out the triade if your looking for a triple battery dna200 on ecig.com. 125 is pretty cheap for it. Goodluck with the wifey...lol

So I just spoke to a vapenw rep who told me the VT133 covers should be back in stock soon :bingo:
also, where do you guys buy your SS wire from and which wire works best for this mod?

I've never done temp control but I figure if I'm getting this thing I might as well use it for
what it's praised for, I typically vape around 40-55 watts in power mode so any insight would be great
as to what would be the best set up for me in TC

Just remember in tc mode the wattage controls how fast the coil ramps up to the desired tempature. Start off with the wattage you normally vape at. From there you can adjust the wattage up or down. Then fine tune your vape to the tempature you like. I personally find tc vaping to be the smoothest most consistent vape I have ever had.

Thanks guys, I'm going to start off around 43W in TC and work around those numbers to see what gives me the best results.
Man I feel like a kid getting a brand new toy for Christmas lol.
I didn't know you could vape SS in power mode, I've been pretty comfortable to the traditional style of vaping
that I kind of chose to look the other way when it came to the more modern and technical side of vaping
one of my biggest corcern was the safety of the wires being used but it seems as though that's the whole
purpose of temp control, to prevent your wire from reaching the breaking point, right?
I'm just glad to hear that it is working great for everybody.

I've found the best SS for TC is SS430. It's all I use anymore. Here's the link;

PS. I think it's a great deal as well. It ships out of Missouri if your curious.

wow, $10 for 200 feet? that's like a 3 year supply
that's less than a penny a day, not bad at all my friend! :vino:
It is, but keep in mind that it's thinish at 28G so a lot of us have twisting it which requires double. Still, it's a lot of freaking wire! I'm partial to the 24g 317 they sell personally. :)

Pardon the interruption.
Anyone know if Nude Nicotine will have a sale this weekend?
I'm ordering either way, but haven't seen an email from them in, well, forever.

Carry on.

How's the quality of the frame? I've heard it's cheap, light metal.

EDIT: And has anyone had trouble with juice seeping into the seam on the right (facing screenside of mod)

Are you talking about the vt133? If so, no it doesn't feel cheap at all. And haven't had a problem with juice seeping into seam. Very solid mod.

I just watched a short vid from VapnFagan on the new Lost Vape Therion. Man that thing is a work of art. Wish they did it in a 133w instead of 75w. I bet it wouldn't be hard to turn it into a 133w.
Man, I just watched it too. Now that I have 3 DNA 200 mods, I am now reconsidering where this product sits in the product line for them and potentially myself.

This got me thinking... and mostly off topic so I apologize, but I trust you folks so much :) and don't want to go to a different thread, so here it is...

You guys know how I am looking for that Unicorn DNA... well this Therion checks a lot of those requirements. Basically, I am looking for a good looking, interesting DNA mod. This mod does it. The more I look at it, the more I like it over their DUO (the official Lost Vape 133)

I looked at every last one of my mods that are in rotation (5) and noticed that none of them are set above 65W... In fact, most of them were under 50W except for 1 beast config that I set at 65 for "Clouds bro". All the others are in the flavor/cloud balance range of 45-50 TC.

The Therion would be a great truly all day vape mod with batt in parallel, that's my thought. I don't have to and should not look at it other than that- A beautiful mod that would provide a full day of vaping. I have not 1 single mod that can do that... not one, this includes my 3 batt mods.

Am I crazy that thinking a 2 batt mod in parallel will provide more range than 3batt in Series? On paper of course, the answer is simple... 2 3000mah (parallel) = 6000mah, 3 3000mah (series) = 3000mah. What I don't know is what that really equates to in real world. Logically accounting for inefficiencies would still net a significant gain, hell 5000mah would get me the full day on really long days!

Anyone with experience these days with Parallel? I have not had a parallel box since 2013 :), sadly it was sold.

While the mah adds in parallel, the voltage adds in series. To find the true comparison you need to look at WH. When I'm looking at total capacity, I always look at watt hours.

Watt Hours = Nominal Voltage x mah/1000
2 x 3000mah batteries in series or parallel = 22.2WH
In series you have 7.4 x 3000 / 1000 = 22.2WH
In parallel you have 3.7 x 6000 / 1000 = 22.2WH

3 x 3000mah batteries in series or parallel = 33.3WH
In series you have 11.1 x 3000 / 1000 = 33.3WH
In parallel you have 3.7 x 9000 / 1000 = 33.3WH

Notes 3.7v Nominal Voltage per cell
3000mah per cell

Steve

Everything gets easy to figure out how long they will last if you convert everything into watt hours. And while two batteries in series is the same capacity as one battery, two in series also sports double the voltage. But whether the mod uses series or parallel, the watt hours are the same either way you do it.

watt hours = 3.7v x 2.5Ah (2500mah) = 9.25wh
7.4v (two in series) x 2.5Ah = 18.5wh
3.7 (two in parallel) x 5Ah = 18.5wh
11.1v (three in series) x 2.5Ah = 27.75wh
3.7v (three in series) x 7.5Ah = 27.75wh

EDIT: There is Steve two seconds ahead of me.

I think your the second person that has said that but as you can see by the post above mine screws all the way down on all three of my VT133's without me forcing it/torquing it down (I have a SS and Black and they both do). This leaves me scratching my head.

Man I think it's a very sharp looking mod. I wouldn't let the fact that 3 batteries have more capacity than 2 get in the way. I myself prefer dual 18650 mods to triple 18650 mods. I do wish they used a DNA200 chip in it, but as you pointed out 75 watts is enough. Like I said if you like it, don't let that get in the way.

The new Black on Black arrived today from VapeNW. Works great and looks great. The Black Out Edition

Same mod, tank, and glass under different lighting conditions. I'd say the glass looks somewhere in between (darkness) to the naked eye.

Did you see what the build date was on your Blackout from VNW? I just got mine and it's ancient. !2-15-15. Both my ecig ones were fairly recent buils.

I can second that. My Supremes screw down fully as well, no extra torque required. I have not read all of the posts on this issue,...but it seems that it has to be the 510?? Have you double checked that the "notches" are aligned on the Supreme? Does the base screw on flush at the bottom of the Supreme? I've made the mistake of not fully aligning the notch, but its real obvious because the base won't screw down flush. Does not appear to be your issue, but it could be ever so slightly that is causing the issue... This is a tough one indeed.

Again, this has probably been covered, so apologies but how do other attys sit on the 133 and vice versa, how does the Supreme sit on other mods? We've go to isolate this... hopefully its not the 133 510. Lastly, its possible the 510 spring in the 133 may be a bit stuck... have you tried pushing down on yours to see if there is play, spring working? I would remove batts as a extra precaution with this one :)... not necessary...but not a bad idea either.

Hope you make some progress with this one!

Same here, mine says board programed November 30, 2015 (Is that what you're referring too?). My serial is the low 4000's.
My 2 that came from Ecig are in the 9000's and 10,000's.

It's working great though. Buttons feel firm, reading resistance fine, and most importantly vaping great.

Steve

Edit I did have to update the firmware on this on to 2016 - 02 - 23. The ones from Ecig were already updated.

Could the older versions possibly have a shorter 510 connection? In light of the problems that a couple people are having.

Yes that's what I'm referring to. Mine is high 4000 #. They must have bought a crap load to have them that old. Surprised it took them this long to push them out... And yes, I too had to update. Did I ever say thank you for your profile set up...Thank You...:D

Thanks Steve,

I prefer dual config as well. I psyched myself up tho with the batt capacity... totally threw out elctro-theory in hopes to justify why;

1. They chose the DNA 75 (mind you the sell the Therion at roughly the same cost as their 3 batt DNA 200 mod????WTF)
2. Given above, they put (2) batt in parallel. I mean sure, there is a benefit over 1, just not what you would "hope" for if you were not up on battery tech

it is a very nice looking mod. If it were a DNA 200, I'm sure all of us would have one by now!... ALERT I am still on the hunt for my DNA UNI (DNA Unicorn).

At this rate, I might just build one myself and call it that DNA UNI...lol

The pictures I just posted about 10 posts up are the older one I just got today from VapeNW. My other pictures in this thread have the same Supreme on newer ones. I haven't heard Hcigar made any changes and my Supremes (Diana Ross - that's for you Infinite ;)) screws on the same on all 3 of my VT133's.
