Help on e-juice calculations!

Im using 36MG Nicotine Base 100% VG. Going for a 30/70 PG/VG Ratio. On a 15mL bottle.
Nicotine Strength im aiming for is 12MG. With flavoring at about 5%.
When i plug all this into the calculator, The nicotine base is at 33% which is 5mL. Does that make sense? Is that safe?

Yep. That's what I get. My PG(3.75ml) & VG(5.5ml) #'s are a little different. I have my calculator set up by weight in grams, with VG @1.25- PG @ 1.04- Nic in VG @ 1.25 and Flavoring @ 1.

makes absolute sense. Your nicotine strength of the nicotine you have listed that you are using is 36. You want 12. 12 is 1/3 of 36. Meaning 1/3 of your juice is going to be nicotine if you wanted 12 nic from a base of 36. Since you're making 15ml, that's 5ml of 36 strength nicotine.

I know I've had to do a double take before on those calculators. Never had one incorrect but it's always a really good idea to double check like you did. Of course when I say I've never had one incorrect I mean the calculators additions, not user input error. (which you didn't do)

Never hurts to double check though, especially with nicotine. Too much flavor may just make a juice nasty or tasteless. Too much nicotine could be really dangerous so you did the right thing double checking.

@Juliusbgns , welcome to VU!
The nicotine concentration in your base is relatively low, hence the need to use more of it to get your desired strength in your mix. If you were using a nic base with a higher concentration of nicotine, the required amount would be lower. Most of that 33% you're putting in the mix is vg, so no cause for alarm. ;)
