Just noticing the extension on the file of .dfu, that is an ST Microelectronics DFuSe firmware file for their STM32 ARM Cortex processor.
Good to see STM microcontrollers used in the vaping industry, I have quite a few STM developer boards that I've tinkered with in the past.

I just put in one of the fused Clapton's that came with it for now. I didn't want to pound through the juice just yet...
There will probably be a pair of SS430 4 strand chain coils put in it, after I get finished playing with the Kanthal TC.
Wide bore acrylic DT's are on their way from FT, this limitless in the new one that IJoy cheaped out on.
Talk about a beautiful sight to behold......I think I see a tear forming around the TFV8's air hole, so proud to be included in this momentous occasion

Only used it through a set of batteries since getting the g2.
Compared it for clouds, taste and constant.
G2 flogged in wattage mode.
Broke out the le80 for when I was doing some greasy work and it was on par with the functionality of the dialed in volts. But not the battery management.
SOON my pretties I can put it against a rx200s.

eh I never really go lower that .2 or .18 so it is all good.

I just never carry the mod around. I haven't looked around at prices people are selling them for but I am going to post it out there for $75 OBO. I figured I would give a heads up here for those that use the mod that might want another or know someone they are trying to get to buy one.
I still have the original boxes and everything that came with it.

I played with the xXx & FSK mode yesterday till I think I got a good handle on it. I take it that is the mode everyone uses since it seems to work the best. I didn't have much luck with the Insane Temp Control mode for SS, is it tuned for a specific grade of SS? Any idea what the W wire is in that menu?
Do the Kanthal & NiCr modes work well or is it just better to stick with the xXx option? I didn't have much luck with Auto Temp Control mode either. Is there a manual where all these options are explained a little better, the included fold out is a firmware rev or two behind?

Love the designRocking the Hohm G2 and Avocado 24 this eve. I screwed the Drip Tip from a Herakles onto the Cado and it's vaping beautifully with just a small gap.

Check out the channel "Hohmtech" on YouTube. The guys at Hohmtech does a very good and in depth talk on how to use the mod properly and make use of all the feautures. His tutorial is made really simple.

Yeah, the guy does a really in depth reviews which cover most functions of the mod and how to get it to work properly. Most other reviewers fail at this simply because they don't know how to use the mod properly. This mod is great at what it does and even better when you get familiar with it. Another thing to note is that using RTA'S to TC will be much harder since there are many other factors such as wicking and consistency and also airflow which might not make the TC experience as good as using commercial coils which are almost always consistent and wicking is always good.
Although the video says 'new users' I still feel that the guy has done an exceptionally good job in demonstrating how to use the functionalities of the mod.
The W they are referring to is for ceramic coils with Tungsten wire.
I'll be the first one to admit I only use xxx mode. Page 2 of the users manual says W stands for watts but when you look at the 4/5 update they do in fact reference the addition of the W for Tungsten. My bad.

I have both set to 11.5 FSK 75 watts and 480 f.
The rose gold is the herakles mini rta and the black is the Cthulhu V3. Really liking both these tanks a lot. The Cthulhu juice flow control is really easy to spin though, too easy really. Doesn't spin on it's own but too loose for my liking. Aside from that though it is bad ass so far and the build deck is huge. Going to try the single coil deck this weekend.
They both got some time on the Triade as well.
