I own all the Augvape RTA's, even a prototype that is in the works and a Tube mod that I designed will soon be released..The Mini Merlin is a great RTA but it requires refgilling often if you vape around .1 Ohms like I do with it but its a very quick refill system which makes up for it....If I had a choice though I would wait for the newest Merlin RDTA....thats a sweet RTA!

Just got my first G2, had a couple questions.
First off loving it, probably the most consistent SS temp vape I have had yet out of any device.
A couple questions.
1. Is there suppose to be a bit of play with the door? Like I can move it a tiny bit...doesn't move when I shake it or anything.
2. My device came with a bit of missing paint in multiple areas, could I use a paint marker to fill it in? (It's the black one, should be easy to match)

no play with the door at all. make sure your batteries are all the way down. the ribbon is long and can block the batteries from being seated all the way which will give your door wobble.
I checked for that actually, it has a bit of play, not much, was just curious if its a concern for anyone else, probably not...I don't think it's affecting the batteries.

it won't hurt anything, but the only time my doors had play in them was because the batteries. i'd just check again that the ribbon isn't in the way
I guess it's fine then, just makes a clicky sound when I push it up and down, like there is a little extra room with the door on the top and bottom, tried putting the ribbon in multiple ways, always the same, don't think its the ribbon, I am using HE2's.
I paid 48 shipped, it's hard to complain to much.
That battery sled is tight is when you first get it. Door should not have a click or wobble. Push the batteries down hard.

Heh, got that right. I have 3 and on one the batt door is 'clicky' no matter how you frig with the ribbon, sled etc. One of the magnets on top is seated too deep and the door clicks. I may try to reset the magnet but in the meantime decided I can live with it rather than pay $16 round trip to Vcube.
My red one has a slight wobble on the door but it only does it if I'm trying to make it wobble, doesn't ever happen during use. The paint would bother me more, my black rig is my beater and the paint is still perfect. My blue slice is pampered and has a few chips tho, go figure
I think that is it after looking at it actually. I literally have to do it on purpose in all honesty, doesn't happen with regular use.
Same, I am guessing I can touch it up with a paint marker, it is Aluminum after all, most paints go on and stay well, shame it didn't come perfect but tbh I haven't gotten a perfect mod yet! Must be my luck or something....It's mainly a chip near the 510 and around the battery door there is quite a bit of missing paint. Good to know the paint holds up in general though(Looking at you RX200...

Just take your scissors and clip the ribbon.
Also, REALLY push the batteries down.
Worked for me.

Doesn't seem to work, I do notice the magnets on the top part one is pushed in a lot and the corresponding one on the door itself is also, thats probably whats doing it. Not a huge deal, but think I figured out why at least lol.

are you sure a magnet didn't come out and is stuck to the other magnet?
I don't think so, all the magnets are visible...unless they are doubled up on top of one another and they didn't do it for some in my box? That would be weird though.

happened to me once. box took a beating when i took it out golfing and got really drunk. a magent came out of teh door and stuck to one on the body and created wiggle. i had to glue it back in. and my dumb ass did it backwards creating more wiggle so i had to rip it out and glue it back on correctly. now it's sturdy as hell. my other 2 are sturday as well and been that way since day 1.
Ehh I just got it, ripping it out sorta scares me, I rather not, if it comes out I will place it better in I guess though...one on my Evic Mini came out once, glued it back in.
I don't do Facebook but I do know he did a review of the G1 and did nothing but praise it, he said he loves it as a matter of fact. He said it is one of the only mods that he will continue using after the review where most mods get reviewed a sit on his shelf. He said it has replaced his mech mods. The cons he had were all addressed in the G2 so WTF could he possibly bitch about? Sounds a lil suspect to me

All I use is power mode anymore....it is so smooth and consistent you can tell when its time to redrip, every time...No fluctuation, no spikes in heat, no surging, no lack in power....there is more then Temp Control that makes this mod the best there isWhats with the Power Mode????

No it was burnt red. Raymo has talked me into 2 very good decisions over the last year, the G2 and TM squared. Unfortunately I sold the G2 because the orange I mean red lol was driving me nuts. Glad they went on sale because as ugly as the color was I missed it.
