I am using a clt v3 rda with dual coils wrapped at 28g kanthal at about 9 wraps each. I build my own coils and have been vaping for about a year. My builds usually end up being around. 9-1.0 ohms. I was just wondering how many ohms would be practical for running the siegeli at 150w. ThanksIn order to hit that, off of a freshly charged battery at 4.2 volts, you'd need a coil that is at .12 ohms. However, this is the absolute threshold, and since there is error in all the measurements you make, you run the risk of accidentally over-taxing your battery and causing it to vent/explode. I personally do not recommend going down so low at this stage of the game.
This leads me to my advice: Do not attempt this with your level of experience. If you're still asking what ohms you need for what set up, you still are a little new to be trying to get to 150 Watts. There are many things that can go wrong if you don't know exactly what you're doing.
What tank/rda are you using? With what resistance coil? At what wattage & voltage?
How long have you been vaping?
Have you ever built coils?
Well, I must say I feel shameful to make assumptions. Only assumed though because your profile is so new. I just didn't want an accident to happen and someone get hurt from this hobby, it's already under enough fire.I am using a clt v3 rda with dual coils wrapped at 28g kanthal at about 9 wraps each. No problem, i just dont have a full understanding of how ohms and volts and watts interact yet. I wouldn't be hitting it at 150w a lot obviously but just for fun and to show people the power it has every once in awhile. Would i be able to hit it at 150w with the build i posteded?Well, I must say I feel shameful to make assumptions. Only assumed though because your profile is so new.
