Im down to around 26 now ive had 4 months selling of nearly all hit around 85 rta,s and 25 rda,s but reduced them all down now only have 5 dual coil rta,s now and 4 dual coil rda,s all the rest are now single coil , chasing the next thing just leads to high costs and a lot of disappointment only a handful of actual different ones rest are same or just very slight variations of the same old ,

Yeah I think I got my flavor chaser maybe get a cloud chaser one day and something well balanced. 3 in total and maybe a RDTA or two. I really don't see the need for more. Realistically I only need one or two..

I don't have enough.. I was looking to add some last night.
I have only 5, and at times I run out because I don't want to rewick one. So I can say the rabbit hole keeps getting deeper and deeper. :)

I mix my own juices and tinctures an such so sometimes needed 2 of each to test the Flavours on , then my misses got ill some rare blood cancer of some sort
she just had to be awkward and get one no one can diagnose after 7mths of trying to figure out what it is , needs blood an platlets transfusions weekly ,

So as she dont vape and my dual coil 25mm an 30mm RTA,s irritated her with wll the vape had a choice of either quitting or reducing them down , so went to single coil ones ,
Mind you chain vape for 5mins it still fogs out the room , ,
Tended to buy a clone before coughing up for the authentic Version since i kind of now gone small high end style , from vapor giants Squapes , Origens, Taifuns ,kayfuns flash e Vapour , ESG Skyline , Hussars, ect have more a less one clone one authentic Version o can take the clone out as a beater tank
when i can afford or find the ones i want ,
now looking for a little haku rda for my Sqounker mod,

Recently Sold off my Sherman RTA along with my Mod Farther RTA ,
which took 4mth to find all decks for it ,
even been doing same with the mods selling most of my larger dual cell or lipo pwn mods ect off to fund buying
smaller dna 75 mods,

Next Now im wanting
is a few stabwood 75s an a few dna 75c,s , possibly the Vicious ant Knight stabwood would be nice ,
will see can only dream about it at moment, as funds needed else where at moment

I think I have around 30 or so and 15-20 mods that I haven't sold. Maybe more maybe less. For the last couple of years, I've tended to buy 1 or 2 and use them for a few months before I buy more. The first couple of years made my wallet hurt.

Having less than three is a bad idea IME - just because :poop: happens and I've had two atties start misbehaving at the same time one time too many to rely on just one or two devices, lol

And if the FDA regs are not somehow modified, over 90% of the gear currently on the market will no longer be available for purchase in the US next year about this time

This is why I prep and actually feel I'm low on atomizers if I plan on vaping another 30 or 40 years

Not 100% sure as I am constantly finding ones I have forgotten about. I usually get them when they show up in a websites clearance or closeout section so they are very inexpensive when bought that way. This pic will give you a general idea of how many. It holds 60 with probably 30 more in use or hidden away until I find them.

Probably about 25-30 left. I've given away about 20 that I would never use again.

How many Rebuildables? If I had to guess somewhere around the 125 - 150 range. I know I do have lots of multiples as well. For example I have 4 Boreas, 4 OG Merlins, 3 Merlin Mini's, 4 UD Skywalkers, 2 Geekvape Ammits, 3 Battlestar RTA's, 6 OG Crowns with the RBA section, 5 Big Baby Beasts with the RBA, 2 Smok Spirals Plus with the RBA section, and 5 Aromamizer Supremes.

1

plus 1 Avocado 24

plus 1 boreas.

( mine is a Mutation X V4 and I hate it, it leaks juice all over the place...But I keep it as a back-up in case the RTA craps the bed and its the most predictable RDA I have owned.)

My goal is to ensure that other obsessives can point to me and say "See? I am not that bad."

RDAs.. hmm... 6, I think: 2 excellent Achilles clones, 1 crappy Achilles II authentic; 2 Magma clones; and a Prometey. I had about 3 others which I PIFed last year, because they were too airy for me.

RTAs... hmmmmmmmmm. 2 stainless KFL+ Tobeco clones; 1 black Tobeco KFL+; 1 stainless authentic KFL+; a black Alleria. So, 5 RTAs. I had several other Kayfun clones, which I sold cheap a couple years ago.

I don't have too many attys, despite a baker's dozen of mods, because there just aren't a lot of great rebuildable tight-draw attys which also have the other features I require: full threading (rather than o-ring-closed topcaps), and airflow directly below the single-coil. Those features are why the only attys I use at all are Achilles, Magmas, or occasionally, one of my KFL+'s, though those are currently being used by my son.

I tend to research the crap out of each purchase and only have around 10. I like to make sure that each one I buy is the best in it's class at the time and also that each one I buy is different enough from my others to make it a worthwhile purchase. I'm an RTA/RDTA fan and only own one RDA (OG Goon) but i just never latched to drippers and never use it.

I've ordered my 2nd RDA today (Vandy Vapes Icon) I'm far from a gearslut. That could change as there is just too much cool stuff that I think I need in my life. A RTA/RDTA could be next..a few of these and a few of those is my approach :)

4 dual-coil RDAs
2 single-coil RDAs
2 dual-coil RDTAs
3 dual-coil RTAs
1 triple-coil RTA

And one more RDA to be added tomorrow, I think...one that possesses all the qualities I like.

Even with a baker's dozen, I still worry about The Man, arm-in-arm with Big Tobacco, pulling some move where this exciting scene and market all comes to an end. Yep, the vapocalypse.

Cheers,
Ian

I have only started doing rebuildables, and yes I am also finding it quite addictive. but each one I have bought was for a certain thing I was looking for. I bought the Big Baby Beast as my first rebuildable because I liked the flavor of the Baby Beast and knew that if I did not like rebuilding I would still enjoy the premade coils in it. I did like it and have had zero issues with it. I bought the Limitless XL next because I was told how much better the flavor would be than in my BBB. This one took me a while to learn what works in it. I have only recently discovered that I really enjoy it with a single coil build with fused claptons 0.3 ohms at 35W. The next adventure was the Limitless Plus RDTA, which I bought because I wanted the option to drip while testing my DIY juices (best investment I have made, testing is SO much easier and quicker now!). I discovered that the flavor on this thing is fantastic, however it is a juice HOG! I have to limit myself on how much I use the Limitless or I will never have enough juice. This thing can go through 5-10ml in an hour if I am watching TV at home or driving in the car. But I would get another if something happened to it. My latest I bough yesterday which is the Griffin 22 RDTA. I got this because I have seen so many people talk about how good this tank is. I have enjoyed if from my first wicking last night, but the wicking was a pain in the ass because of a ring that goes over the cotton. But the flavor is spot on and the cloud production is great. I only wish it held more juice. But it was only $15 since it was missing the drip tip and spare glass.

Good luck! I find it harder to not buy than to find what I want next. I did exert some self control today, though, as I stopped myself from buying an Avacado 25. Everything is so tempting, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

Yeah, I saw that. Looks kool. Never vaped on mesh before.

This is NOT vaping on mesh...anybody who thinks that using a band of ss mesh as a resistance wire and stuffing the thing full of cotton is vaping on mesh is suffering under a delusion.these kinds of builds will give you no idea at all of what vaping on mesh is like. They will not produce a vape, or give the kind of flavor that is anything at all like vaping a true ss mesh wick.

Well whatever you want to call it, I could care less. The point is I would love to try it and see what it's all about. I'll reserve my judgement until I actually try this one. That was the point.

I wasn't a huge fan of ss mesh wicks. Perhaps it was the coils i tended to use back then.

Sorry didn't mean to come off rude. An RDA is a "rebuildable dripping atomizer" basically instead of a tank system it's a dripping system where you manually build your coils and "wick" your own cotton and drip your juice. There's a bit more to it but basically it's a very customisable method of vaping, that I myself am new to. Nothing wrong with tanks man but there is a notable difference..I'm no vape snob I'm just pointing that out lol

What I want to know is WTF is the difference between an RTA and an RDTA? lol. I like the idea of an RTA but so far I've not had one that beats dripping or squonking for flavor and clouds combined.
