Hi all
I have been using my ipv 3 LI for some time now but mainly in power mode. Came from a sx m class and sig 75 TC so I am familiar with TC and their settings. It seems like my LI may not be working in TC correctly.
I built up a dual Ti build, locked In resistance at room temp (.17) and set it at 430 degrees and 36 joules. It was ok but needed fine tuning
Adjusted Joules up a bit and it got hotter so I reduced the temp and still hot. Adjusted temp lower and lower and lower. I went all the way down to 250 and it really didn't make a difference. Adjusted joules down and finally it was it cooler. This goes against everything I know of regarding TC. This same build n juice used to work great at 530 degrees on past mods.
Watching the display while in TC mode, raising or lowering the temp didn't really have any effect on the volts. Lowering or raising joules did. Trying to figure out what the volts display while in TC is actually telling me. Shouldn't it be the power being delivered to the atty? If so I should see it hit temp and then maintain as volts should bounce around a bit. Mine just goes up a few tents and then doesn't fluctuate
Any help from any of the LI users would be greatly appreciated. In power mode it is flawless I just think the TC portion is not acting correctly or I am a dumb ass
