Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., writes:

Conventional doctors rely on diuretics, beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, and other medications to treat heart failure. However, all of these medications come with side effects.

The question is: Are there natural therapies that can treat milder cases of congestive heart failure? The answer is yes.

Special: Top Cardiologist Reveals Secret for a Healthy Heart

Hawthorn is a spiny, flowering plant in the rose family. Its extract has been used by many different cultures for more than 100 years as a tonic for the heart, including treating congestive heart failure.

Hawthorn has many positive effects for heart function, including helping ease:

• Angina

• Hypertension

• Hyperlipidemia

• Arrhythmia

• Mild to moderate congestive heart failure

A 2008 study by the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews looked at 14 trials and found that hawthorn had positive physiological outcomes for patients with congestive heart failure.

Furthermore, exercise tolerance was significantly increased and shortness of breath and fatigue improved with hawthorn compared to placebo.

The Cochrane Review also found that adverse effects with hawthorn were “infrequent, mild, and transient.” The authors of the report concluded, “. . . there is a significant benefit in symptom control and physiological outcomes from hawthorn extract as an adjunctive treatment for chronic heart failure.”

In addition, hawthorn has been found to be a strong antioxidant that prevents lipid peroxidation.

Specifically, it helps maintain mitochondrial antioxidant status and was shown to prevent mitochondrial lipid peroxidation damage in rat hearts.

The extract also helps improve heart muscle contractions, helps remodel the heart when heart failure occurs, and stops blood clots.

To get the best effect, hawthorn should be used for at least four to eight weeks. I’ve found that 500 milligrams, taken two to three times per day, is an effective dose for cardiac health.

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., editor of the Natural Way to Health newsletter, is a board-certified family physician and one of the nation’s foremost practitioners of holistic medicine. In addition to his practice, Dr. Brownstein has lectured internationally to physicians and is the author of six very popular books.

ICAN DEMANDS FDA REVOKE EUA FOR VACCINES IN CHILDREN 5-11​

We filed a new petition, demanding the FDA revoke the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) it granted for Pfizer’s and Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines in children ages 5 to 11.

Our petition proves:

· The FDA grant of the EUA was illegal from the start.

· There is no emergency when it comes to children and Covid.

· Flawed science was used for the benefit versus risk assessment for children and the vaccines.

· There are no benefits, and the risk of injury and death is heavily understated.

Fundamental to the practice of medicine is to base our decision making on sound scientific research.
As such, it is beyond challenging to me, for so many reasons, that one of the most foundational research studies related to Alzheimer’s disease, published back in 2006, has now been revealed to be fraudulent.
This study, reviewed in this podcast, served to support the subsequent research that supported the so called “amyloid hypothesis.”
This is basically the idea that accumulation of beta amyloid in the brain is the “cause” of Alzheimer’s disease.
It isn’t. And yet, billions of dollars were spent, and continue to be spent in an attempt to create drugs to reduce amyloid in the brain, or prevent its formation, again, based on this fraudulent research.
