Urgent: Speak Out Against the Mass Release of GM Chestnut Trees
We need your help to stop the world’s first mass release of a fertile genetically modified (GM) plant into the wild—a controversial initiative being promoted as a climate solution. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is currently considering deregulation of the genetically engineered D54 American chestnut tree, despite alarming concerns about its defective nature and threat to wild populations.



Why This Matters:

  • The D54 tree is prone to blight, potentially endangering naturally resistant wild chestnuts through pollen and seed contamination.
  • Developers submitted performance data based on a different tree (D58), undermining the scientific basis of the approval process.
  • A campaign letter from the President of the New York Chapter of the American Chestnut Foundation (now renamed) urges support for deregulation, portraying it as a “victory” for restoration—while failing to mention major risks and conflicts of interest.   • The for-profit company American Castenea is teaming up with researchers to mass-produce D54 trees using AI-assisted cloning, aiming to sell and distribute 1 million GE trees per year, raising serious concerns about commercial motives and ecological oversight.

Irregular Heartbeat Deaths on the Rise

Deaths related to atrial fibrillation appear to be on the rise, especially among younger adults, a new study suggests.

Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is an irregular heartbeat that sometimes leads to blood clots, stroke, heart failure, and other cardiovascular complications. The condition is increasingly common, with an estimated 12.1 million people in the U.S. expected to have it in 2030.

Special: More Than 50% of Older Americans Fail to Get Enough Magnesium

The study, published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, used data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Researchers focused on 276,373 people ages 35 to 84 who died between 2011 and 2018 from cardiovascular disease related to AFib.

Breaking it down by age, they learned the increase per year was greater among those 35 to 64 (7.4%), compared to 3% among those 65 to 84. Dr. Yoshihiro Tanaka, the study's lead author, said the research did not prove AFib was causing more deaths, only that it could be contributing to the increase.

"Prevention and treatment are very important," Tanaka said, as well as more education about AFib and easier access to care "to encourage younger and vulnerable populations to get treatment."

The study confirms that glyphosate and glyphosate -based herbicides cause multiple types of cancer, even at exposure levels deemed to be “safe” by the EU. It was coordinated by the Ramazzini Institute in Italy and involved scientists from the US, South America and Europe.

In response to this landmark study, the European Commission has said it will review the new data and “act immediately to amend or withdraw the approval” of glyphosate if it “no longer meets” the EU’s safety standards. This decision would have huge implications in the UK and beyond.

I think its important to share this because you likely have a similar deal but may not know it.
Yesterday we went to a place for Texas BBQ. The smell pulled us in...so good.
If you're a Vegan, don't get offended. This story applies to you as well.
We ordered the usual stuff and of course the coleslaw and potato salad. The kids were starving and went for it.
I had a moment where I thought "oh what the heck, make it a cheat day" so I ate the slaw and potato salad knowing they had dairy in them.
Simple. Innocent. Dumb.
So here's how I feel right now. I need you to understand the signs as self reported from a seasoned doctor and meditator so you could possible identify them in yourself.
It feels like a mild fever.
Fatigue.
Joints aching.
Brain fog and lack of motivtion.
I'm very aware of my state and energy levels. It's a stark difference from the usual me so it's important for me to call this out and SHARE with you because yes, even Dr Shojai makes dumb decisions here and again and I can say with conviction that, at least for me, it isn't worth it.
Here's what the normal resoonse to this array of symptoms would be:
1- Advil for the achy back and joints
2- More coffee to power though the fatigue
3- More carbs to pacify the mood swings
Those will all mask the symptoms and also further aggravate a leaky gut, tax the adrenals, add belly fat, swing the blood sugar, and make the mood feel like a rollercoaster all day.
Today I'm MUCH more likely to snap at my kids, make bad food decisions on an ongoing basis, want a nap, and complain about something...anything.
To me, I get days like this 1-4x a year because I'm careful to not eat the things my body doesn't like.
Today is a whoops day.
I'm taking a heavy dose of vitamin D, fish oils, writing this email on a PEMF mat, and going to do some gentle yoga and qi gong to get things moving. I'll pull out of it but a few days in a row like this, my life would SUCK. I'd be incapable of doing great things and reachng my potential.
It's not worth it for me so here's the question:
HOW is it worth it for you?
I promise it's not.

Learn what your body has sensitivities to AVOID those foods for a few months. SEE how much better you feel after this and it's hard to look back.
Today I feel lilke I'm running with a parachute behind my back. That's no way to get far in life.
I make mistakes. I share them. Nobody is perfect. I urge you to learn from this and focus in on making your life work better for you.
It starts with understanding what you have issues with and taking those items out of your diet immediately.
