It’s easy to think about cancer as something that appears suddenly, a diagnosis that seems to come out of nowhere and changes everything at once.
But when you zoom out, it’s more accurate to see it as a process.
Changes build over time, influenced by a combination of factors like inflammation, environmental exposures, metabolic health, and how the body is able to repair and regulate itself along the way.
That doesn’t make it simple, but it does make it more understandable.
Because when something develops through a series of steps, it also means there are points along the way where those patterns can be observed, supported, and in some cases influenced.
The goal isn’t to reduce something complex into a simple explanation, but to give you a clearer picture of how these processes unfold and what factors tend to matter most over time.
You can explore this pathway here.
So thankful that you're making an investment in your health, your life and yourself.
Because health means everything,

Can You Actually Reverse Arterial Plaque? A Closer Look at the Study Behind the Headlines

Nattokinase has been getting a lot of attention lately, and a big part of that traces back to a conversation between David Sinclair -- a Harvard-trained geneticist known for his work on aging biology -- and Peter Diamandis, founder of the XPRIZE Foundation and a prominent voice in exponential health technologies. Like most things that go viral, the nuance got left behind -- and what stuck was a single compelling idea: that arterial plaque might not be as permanent as we've been led to believe.

10 Reasons Your Kids Shouldn’t Use AirPods

Wireless earbuds like AirPods use Bluetooth technology, which emits radiofrequency radiation near the head and body for prolonged periods. Experts caution that children and teenagers, due to their thinner skulls and more absorbent brain tissue, are especially vulnerable to health risks, including brain cancer, neurological damage and hearing loss.

Catherine was first diagnosed with HR positive, HER2 Negative breast cancer in 1999. In November of 2020, she received her fourth cancer diagnosis, and was told it was incurable, Stage IV, metastatic breast cancer. Her oncologist told her she needed a miracle. Catherine's immediate thought was, "Is that all? I know where to get one of those. I'll just ask my Heavenly Father for one." She began to pray to her Maker to teach her what was best for her and to direct her in the way she should go in order to heal her body. God began to answer her prayer. Catherine attributes her resiliency to her faith in God and in His guidance and miraculous healing power. Other factors that played a critical role in Catherine's healing include a strong support system of family and friends and acupuncture to stimulate her own body's healing potential. Today she is alive and well and has been celebrating NED since 2022.

Let’s start with the headline about vitamin B3 and brain cancer. Researchers are studying high-dose niacin in patients with glioblastoma, which is one of the most aggressive cancers we deal with. In an early clinical setting, adding this therapy appeared to help reactivate parts of the immune system and slow tumor growth in some patients.
That’s encouraging, but it’s also very early. This is being done in highly controlled environments, using doses and delivery methods that are completely different from anything you can buy over the counter. Niacin, especially at high doses, carries risks, and this is not something to experiment with outside of a clinical trial. What this really represents is one more avenue researchers are exploring in a disease where we need better answers.

Another story that continues to surface is concern over receiving blood from vaccinated donors. Data from transfusion medicine reports and hospital systems show that more patients are making this request, even though blood centers do not label donations by vaccination status.
From a medical standpoint, there is no evidence supporting the idea that vaccinated blood is harmful. None. The blood supply is rigorously screened for infections and safety. Vaccination status is not relevant to that process. What is relevant is that delays in receiving blood when it’s needed can lead to worse outcomes. If you require a transfusion, it’s because your body needs it. That’s where the focus should stay.

Finally, there’s a strong piece of research looking at diet and brain health. In a large study that followed tens of thousands of adults for over a decade, those who consumed more whole, plant-based foods had a lower risk of developing dementia. At the same time, diets heavy in processed, fried, or sugary plant-based foods showed the opposite trend.
So again, it’s not just about calling something plant-based. It’s about what kind of plant-based foods you’re choosing.
The practical part of this is actually simple. You don’t need to overhaul your entire diet overnight. You don’t need to eliminate meat completely. What matters is moving the balance, more vegetables, more whole grains, more nuts, healthier fats, and fewer processed foods. Approaches like the Mediterranean or DASH diet naturally move you in that direction.
When you step back and look at all three of these stories, there’s a common thread. Early research needs time. Misinformation needs to be corrected. And the basics, what you eat, how you take care of your body, still matter more than anything else.
That’s where I’d keep your focus.

Musk Deer

Musk deer look like small deer, but the males do not grow antlers. Instead, they have long upper canine teeth that hang down like little saber fangs, and they use them in rivalry displays and fights during breeding season. This is not the type of deer you see everyday, so click into this deer with fangs explanation.
They are also known, sadly for having a musk-producing gland, and that musk has been highly valued for perfume and traditional uses, which has driven heavy poaching pressure in parts of Asia. That is the main reason many musk deer populations have struggled. Here’s a clear breakdown of the basics, including the musk gland and why it matters: musk deer facts.

Hydration that actually works

Most people think they need more water. What they actually need is better electrolyte balance.
I’ve been using LMNT regularly, especially when I’m traveling, training, or just spending more time outside. The difference is that energy feels steadier, and that mid-afternoon slump fades.
When I’m feeling ‘off’, one of THESE usually helps bring me back to baseline.
  • No sugar
  • Clinically relevant sodium levels to support hydration
  • Helps reduce headaches, fatigue, and brain fog
  • Easy to throw in a bag and mix anywhere
If you’ve been drinking tons of water but still feel off, this might be the missing piece.
You can try LMNT here and see how your body responds, or explore the flavors if you want something that actually tastes good without the crash.
I keep a few packs on me at all times. It’s one of those small shifts that does make a difference.

Mammograms: Why This Topic Deserves a More Nuanced Conversation

Mammograms have long been presented as simple and unquestionable. Get screened in order to catch cancer early, and possibly save your life. And of course that is a great intention. Most public health bodies say screening mammography can help find breast cancer earlier and reduce the risk of dying from breast cancer for many women, especially in the 40 to 74 age range.
At the same time, those same medical sources also acknowledge tradeoffs, including false positives, overdiagnosis, follow-up biopsies, and a “small dose” of radiation exposure.
That’s why I think this topic deserves a more honest conversation than it usually gets. Not fear-based or blindly compliant, but a mature look at the possibility of nuance.

What a mammogram can do well

The strongest case for mammograms is early detection. A mammogram is a low-dose X-ray of the breast, and for many women it can find an issue before symptoms appear. The current recommendation is biennial (every other year) screening for average-risk women ages 40 to 74.
Early detection can of course mean less invasive treatment for some women, and there is evidence of mortality benefit. So my opinion is not to say mammograms are useless. However, I’d like to acknowledge that there are some who are reconsidering if this is best as an automatic routine procedure for all women to do.

Hi Jimi,

I've had this debate more times than I can count.

With friends. With family. Even with Matt.

Is eating organic actually worth it? Or is it just a more expensive way to buy the same food?

I've always leaned toward organic. But when people pushed back, I didn't have a rock-solid answer beyond "it feels like the right thing to do." And that's not good enough for me. I'm someone who needs to see the research.

So I went looking. And what I found genuinely shifted my perspective.

A team at Newcastle University analysed 343 peer-reviewed studies. Not a handful. Three hundred and forty-three. It's the most comprehensive comparison of organic versus conventional food ever conducted.

Here's what stood out:
  • Organic crops contain an average of 17% more antioxidants than conventionally grown crops.
  • Some organic fruits, vegetables, and grains had up to 60% higher concentrations of certain antioxidant compounds.
  • Flavanones — the compounds linked to reduced stroke risk — were up to 69% higher in organic.
  • And pesticide residues were four times more likely to be found in conventional crops than organic ones.

Four times.

But here's the part that really got me.

Plants naturally produce antioxidants to defend themselves against pests and disease. When pesticides are applied externally, plants stop making their own defences. They don't need to.

Which means we lose out on those protective compounds when we eat them.

The very thing that makes a plant nutritionally powerful is its ability to defend itself. Conventional farming quietly switches that off.

And the pesticide piece matters more than most people realise.

The 2026 Dirty Dozen report from the Environmental Working Group found pesticide residues on more than 95% of conventional samples of the twelve most contaminated produce items — with spinach, strawberries, kale, grapes, and peaches topping the list. Many of the most frequently detected chemicals are fungicides that may disrupt the endocrine system.

Now, I want to be real with you.

I know organic isn't always accessible or affordable.

And I never want health to feel like something only available to people with big grocery budgets.

If going fully organic isn't realistic right now, the smartest middle ground is to prioritise organic for the highest pesticide produce — the Dirty Dozen — while buying conventional for the rest. The Clean Fifteen consistently test with very low or no detectable pesticide residues, and are much safer to buy conventional.

To make this as easy as possible, I've put together a free Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen cheat sheet you can save to your phone or print and stick to your fridge. So next time you're standing in the produce aisle, you know exactly what to prioritise.
Every dollar you spend on better food is a dollar invested in prevention. And preventative medicine will always be cheaper, kinder, and more effective than treating disease after it arrives.

Yours for better health, naturally,

Want to keep your brain sharp as you age?

A new study just suggested that you can improve your brain health well into your 50s and beyond.

In the study, researchers took adults between 59 and 80 years old who had barely moved a muscle in the last 6 months.

No gym, no prior exercise routine.

Then, they had participants engage in a regular walking routine for a year.

The results blew researchers away...

Brain scans showed these once-sedentary adults showed physical improvements in their brain...

Specifically in the networks that control your memory, focus, and decision-making.

In other words?

Their brains looked younger after a year of walking!

And the best part is, they got better at real-life thinking too.

Planning, multitasking, working memory, all of it improved.

Want to improve your brain health with a regular walking routine?

Read on to see how many minutes you need to walk and how often to get these incredible benefits >>

Certain foods contain compounds that may support histamine balance, mucus drainage, and immune regulation.

In other words… They may help you suffer less (or not at all)

Here are 7 worth adding now:

  1. Apple cider vinegar: May support mucus breakdown and lymphatic flow.
  2. Bone broth: Rich in amino acids and minerals that support gut and immune health.
  3. Citrus fruits: Oranges, lemons, and grapefruit provide vitamin C support.
  4. Fresh organic vegetables: Especially broccoli and Brussels sprouts for detox and congestion support.
  5. Probiotic foods: Think kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi, yogurt, kombucha, and natto. A healthy gut helps regulate immune reactions.
  6. Hot and spicy foods: Chili peppers, horseradish, and wasabi can help thin mucus naturally. Sometimes tears are productive;-)
  7. Onions and garlic: Rich in quercetin, a compound known for natural antihistamine support.

Hi Jimi,

Have you ever looked at your supplement cabinet and wondered why, despite doing everything right, you still wake up exhausted?

It's an incredibly heavy burden to carry.

When you're pouring your heart into healing, but life-altering symptoms still hold you back from the people you love, it's easy to feel like your body is failing you.

Recently, I hosted The Missing Link to Healing Webinar.

If you joined us, you're already ahead of 90% of people who are still blindly treating their symptoms without understanding the root cause.

But whether you were there live or missed it entirely, there is a vital reality we uncovered that you need to hear: your nervous system is likely stuck in a silent, continuous state of hypervigilance.

Find out what it actually takes to guide your nervous system back to a state of safety and repair.
The Healing Reset Experience - A step-by-step system to understand, reset, and reclaim balance.
When your body is trapped in this survival mode, it operates like a fortress under siege.

The hard data is undeniable. Your system is constantly forced to choose between Protection vs. Repair.

It cannot do both at once. When chronic stress breaks your internal "off switch," your body prioritizes immediate survival. True healing is biologically blocked until this tension is released.

Your body naturally wants to heal. It just needs the right conditions.

On April 30th from 7 PM - 9 PM ET, I'm hosting a 2-hour live immersion: The Healing Reset Experience.

I'll personally guide you through the exact somatic practices necessary to shift your nervous system out of defense. During our live time together, you'll:

Uncover the specific mechanisms keeping your internal "off switch" broken.

Experience guided, real-time protocols designed to immediately lower systemic tension.

Secure a daily framework to maintain a state of healing, even when life feels chaotic.

We've seen profound shifts with this process. Just look at what Penka shared after experiencing this work:
"This past year was filled with many challenges and changes, and before working with Nathan, I was experiencing high levels of anxiety and reactivity that were becoming difficult to manage.

After just the first session of breathwork and meditation, my anxiety and reactivity dropped significantly, and I moved into a state of calmness I hadn’t experienced in a very, very long time. I feel more grounded, able to breathe better, and handle stress from a much more centered place. I feel liberated.

“I also experienced an inner-child healing session with Nathan through The AWAKEN Process™ where I was guided into deeper layers of awareness and healing. I have felt safe and supported every step of the way, and I’m grateful to have Nathan as a guide on my journey."
~ Penka Thompson
Because you're part of this community, I've secured a space for you.

Let the information on the next page show you exactly what's possible when you work with your biology, not against it.

Secure your spot to step out of survival mode and give your body the exact environment it needs to recover.

Wishing you health and happiness,

Episode 469: ACIP UPHEAVAL, AI DISRUPTION, AND MASTERING YOUR MIND
🚨 TODAY — LIVE FROM THE US SENATE

A Senate hearing is set to examine how federal health officials handled COVID-19 vaccine safety signals during the pandemic.

The U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, chaired by Sen. Ron Johnson, will hold a hearing titled “Unmasked: How Biden Health Officials Purposely Turned a Blind Eye Toward COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Signals.”

Scheduled witnesses include Karl Jablonowski, David Wiseman, and Maria Young, who are expected to testify on data monitoring, reporting systems, and personal experiences related to COVID-19 and vaccine safety concerns.

The hearing reflects continued scrutiny of how agencies tracked and responded to adverse event reports during the national rollout, and whether existing surveillance systems were sufficient as millions of doses were administered.

Dr. Paul Thomas and Liz Mumper, M.D. in conversation on Pediatric Perspectives, Show 200 of With the Wind with Dr. Paul, discussing chronic childhood illness, environmental toxins, and informed decision-making for families.

Focusing on Chronic Disease

On this week’s episode of With the Wind, Dr. Paul is joined by Liz Mumper, M.D., a pediatrician with 45 years of clinical experience, founder of the Rimland Center for Integrative Medicine, and a leading educator of clinicians through MAPS Medical Academy and Pediatric Special Needs. Dr. Mumper and Dr. Paul take a broad look at the dramatic rise of chronic illness in children — what’s driving it, what the clinical record shows, and what families can do to protect their children’s health.

Over the course of their conversation, Dr. Mumper draws on decades of patient care to examine the forces reshaping childhood health — from the surge in autism, diabetes, and autoimmune conditions to the role of environmental toxins, diet, and medical decision-making. The discussion is grounded in clinical observation and framed for parents who want to understand what has changed and why it matters.

“I can’t think of an example where the unvaccinated child was not the healthier sibling. They typically did not develop these chronic illnesses that we’re talking about in terms of eczema and asthma and autism.” — Liz Mumper, M.D.
In this episode, Dr. Mumper discusses:

  • The shift from acute to chronic illness in pediatrics over the past three decades — and what the numbers on autism, diabetes, and autoimmune conditions actually show
  • Pre-conception and early childhood preparation: nutrition, toxin reduction, and key supplementation benchmarks including optimal vitamin D levels
  • Clinical concerns about vaccine administration during pregnancy and infancy, and what patient chart reviews revealed about health outcomes in vaccinated versus unvaccinated siblings
  • Environmental toxin reduction: practical guidance on lead, mold, pesticides, diet, and ultra-processed foods
  • Why acetaminophen deserves more caution than it typically receives — and its effect on the body’s primary antioxidant defense system

You eat a salad…and feel worse, not better.
You add more fiber…and end up more bloated.
You try to keep meals light…and your stomach still feels heavy by the end of the day.
At a certain point, it stops being about what you’re eating and starts being about what your body can actually handle right now.
A lot of the foods that are supposed to help only work when digestion is already strong. When it’s not, they slow things down.
The shift isn’t eating “better.” It’s changing how your body processes what you eat.
If you’re tired of salads being your enemy and “healthy” eating bringing your digestion down, there are some simple changes you can make. Nagina breaks this down in a way that makes immediate sense inside her workshop.
In just five days you could have a revolution.
You can join here.
Because there’s a difference between eating well and your body actually responding to it.
So thankful that you're making an investment in your health, your life and yourself.

Your Health is Keeping Your Mitochondria Hostage
Everyone is talking about mitochondria right now, with various therapies and supplements promising to supercharge your cellular energy. But here's what most of that conversation is missing: your mitochondria aren't broken. They're on strike, which is an important distinction.

When the body is confronted with toxins, chronic infections, or persistent stress, they make a deliberate decision to stand down, switching from producing energy to broadcasting a biochemical alarm signal that says, "We have a problem." It's a beautifully orchestrated biological survival program. Stimulating it before you've resolved the underlying triggers, as Dr. Nafysa Parpia puts it, is like tickling an angry person.

That's the counterintuitive science behind why so many complex chronic patients feel terrible after aggressive detox protocols or energy-boosting interventions, and why the sequence of how you support the body matters just as much as the tools you use.

In our latest post, we break down the Cell Danger Response, what has to happen before detoxification can actually work, and why getting well starts with earning the right to use the interventions most practitioners jump straight to.

Researchers confirmed that a "health" measurement — used by doctors for nearly 200 years — is wrong for millions of people, and what your doctor can't see is putting you at risk.

In addition, a landmark study just proved that pesticides cleared as "safe" are driving a 150% higher cancer risk — and not one regulator is required to test our food correctly, but the evidence points to a powerful defense.

Plus, Harvard followed 111,000 adults for 30 years and found a single overlooked exercise habit significantly cuts premature death risk — yet almost nobody is doing this.

The American Heart Association just published one of the most comprehensive studies on diet and cardiovascular health we've seen in years and I wanted to share what I found most meaningful about it.

The short version: the more your meals center around whole plant foods, the better your heart tends to do over time.
Lower cholesterol, better blood pressure, more stable blood sugar.
And it's not about any one superfood or eating perfectly. It's about the overall pattern of what you eat, consistently, over time.
I broke it all down on the blog, including what the study actually found, what "heart-healthy eating" looks like in real life, and where to start if the whole thing feels overwhelming.

House to Vote on Striking the Bayer-Monsanto Protection Act From the Farm Bill

On Thursday, April 30, 2026, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on whether to stand with pesticide victims or with Bayer-Monsanto, the company that poisoned them.

If Democrats vote to protect pesticide victims and Republicans support Bayer-Monsanto, as each party is expected to do, we lose. But the Republican majority is slim at (218 to 215) and several are already breaking ranks.

Republican Representatives Eli Crane of Arizona, Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Brian Fitzpatrick and Ryan Mackenzie of Pennsylvania, Chip Roy of Texas, and Mike Kennedy of Utah are all supporting amendments that would remove some or all of the Farm Bill’s pesticide provisions.

Call the House Switchboard to be connected with your Member of Congress: (202) 224-3121.

Ask them to support Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC)’s Amendment #301, which would strip all of the harmful pesticide provisions from the Farm Bill.

If you prefer to email, use the action link below. We’ll update the alert with news of the vote as soon as it happens.

If you’re reading this after Thursday, please check the alert to see if it’s not too late to take action. Sometimes scheduled votes get delayed.

TAKE ACTION: Tell Congress to Strike the Pesticide Deregulation Sections From the 2026 House Farm Bill!

NEW RESEARCH

Eating More Fruits and Vegetables is Tied to Unexpected Lung Cancer Risk

University of Southern California – Health Sciences, Science Daily:

“Eating plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains is widely recommended to improve health and reduce the risk of cancer and other diseases.

But new findings from USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of Keck Medicine of USC, suggest there may be an unexpected risk for a specific group. Research presented at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research indicates that non-smoking Americans under age 50 who follow healthier diets could face a higher risk of developing lung cancer.

‘Our research shows that younger non-smokers who eat a higher quantity of healthy foods than the general population are more likely to develop lung cancer,’ said Jorge Nieva, MD, a medical oncologist and lung cancer specialist with USC Norris and lead investigator of the study.

Researchers believe the explanation may lie in environmental exposure, particularly pesticides used in agriculture. According to Nieva, commercially produced (non-organic) fruits, vegetables and whole grains are more likely to carry higher levels of pesticide residue compared to dairy, meat and many processed foods.”

The full study is here, and so is the question nobody in mainstream media seems to want to ask.

Message From OCA: This Is Exactly Why We Exist

We started the Organic Consumers Association in 1998 because we could see what was coming. The chemical agriculture industry was making people sick and the government agencies that are supposed to protect us were in bed with the corporations doing the damage. Twenty seven years later a study out of USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center—presented at the American Association for Cancer Research annual meeting in San Diego just eleven days ago—finds that young, healthy, non-smoking Americans who eat more fruits and vegetables are getting lung cancer at higher rates than their peers. The researchers think pesticide residue on commercially grown produce is the reason.

This alarming news should be on the front page of every newspaper in the country. Instead, it is buried in science publications while the same industry that caused it runs ads about feeding the world and is simultaneously at the Supreme Court trying to make sure you can never sue them for the sickness and death they cause. What we are watching is the predictable result of allowing corporations to treat our farmland and our health as a chemistry experiment for decades while small farmers who wanted to do things differently were left without support, without resources, and without a level playing field. That has to change. Organic regenerative farming in this country needs real investment and real policy backing.

We have never told people the USDA Organic label is a perfect solution. It has been fought over, weakened and in some cases gamed by the same large agricultural interests that have always prioritized profit over people. But it still means something important. It still means no synthetic pesticides on your food and no synthetic fertilizers in the soil it is grown in. Think of it as the floor, not the ceiling. What we really need to be moving toward is organic regenerative, farming that not only avoids harmful chemicals but actively rebuilds soil health, restores ecosystems and produces food the way it was meant to be grown. If you are regularly buying conventional produce this study is a reason to make a change where you can. Better yet, find a farmer, coop or market you can trust, one who is farming organically and doing it honestly. Better still, grow some of it yourself. For our health and that of our families, we should be striving towards organic regeneratively grown food whenever possible.

We have been running campaigns on these issues for twenty seven years and we have the wins to show for it. But we cannot do it without you. If you are reading this newsletter, chances are you believe the food system needs to change and are tired of corporations writing the rules that are supposed to protect us. Your support helps make this work possible. Please consider donating to the Organic Consumers Association today. Every dollar goes toward the action alerts, advocacy, education and accountability work that does not happen unless we all fight for it.

HEALTH

What Happens When Doctors Start Prescribing Food Instead of Pills?

by Stacey Leasca, Food & Wine:

“‘Food is Medicine programs are already improving the health of communities around America,’ Rajiv Shah, president of The Rockefeller Foundation, said. ‘Now, we are starting to understand how nutritious, locally sourced food can also drive economic growth.’

The report, conducted by Dalberg Advisors between September 2025 and January 2026, clearly shows that the economic benefits are strongest when the investment dollars in FIM programs remain local, meaning they go to community farms and purveyors, as well as regional distributors, rather than large national suppliers. This way, the money fuels new jobs in various areas, from farming and meal preparation to delivering these meals to patients.

Connecting local farmers with institutions like hospitals, schools, and food banks can help expand access to a variety of nutrient-dense foods while supporting new economic and domestic market opportunities for farmers and producers.”

These programs improve health outcomes and could cut $32.1 billion in healthcare costs while preventing millions of hospitalizations each year.

BRAIN HEALTH

Our Attention Spans May Be a Casualty of Our Grocery Carts

Neuroscience News, Monash University:

“A new international study identified a direct link between the consumption of ultra-processed foods (UPFs) and a measurable decline in the brain’s ability to focus.

Key Facts:

* The 10% Threshold: For every 10% increase in daily energy from UPFs, researchers observed a distinct drop in visual attention. A 10% increase is roughly equivalent to adding one standard bag of chips or a soft drink to a daily routine.

* The Mediterranean Myth: Surprisingly, the negative effects of UPFs occurred even in individuals who otherwise followed a ‘healthy’ Mediterranean diet. This suggests the processing of the food itself is as damaging as the lack of nutrients.

* Attention as a Foundation: While the study did not find a direct link to immediate memory loss, it highlighted that attention is the prerequisite for learning and problem-solving. Eroding this foundation increases long-term dementia risk.

* Structural Destruction: Ultra-processing often destroys the natural cellular structure of food and introduces artificial additives and industrial chemicals that may trigger cognitive decline through mechanisms like neuroinflammation.”

If you have ever noticed yourself struggling to focus, this research may explain more than you expect.
