My aunt is still in the ICU on a ventilator. Last I heard about my uncle was he’s recovering slowly. Thank you so much for caring to ask!

My aunt is still in the ICU on a ventilator. Last I heard about my uncle was he’s recovering slowly. Thank you so much for caring to ask!

Hi. Really hope your Aunty pulls through and your Uncle recovers fully, wishing and hoping for you all that she and he does. My wife has two second cousins, I think that is what they are called, that are also in ICU in Melbourne from covid. We have not heard how they are going yet but hopefully will hear they are improving tomorrow when we contact my wifes family tomorrow. Their father died from it. My wife knows them well from when she was kid but I cant really recall them as I met them only later when we were married at their large party's. So she tells me. Id know if I saw them as I don't forget a face but just by memory I cant put a face to the names.
Here our numbers are incredibly low compared to so many other countries, though the threat and fear is high as it could spike and grow, we dont know. Sometimes it's like being in a bubble, isolated from whats going on, and frighteningly so, in the world outside of it. Wondering if and or when it's our turn. Stay safe you and all your family Amber.

Wow I’m so sorry to hear of all your close ones that have gone through it and still fighting it. It’s a terrible thing. I’ll keep you posted on what goes on

Hi Amber. Turned out the 2 girls who had it in ICU were also joined by their mother. All 3 were in an induced coma on ventilation. Found out today they have been moved out of ICU and doctors think they will recover ok. So kind of good news though they all have to deal now with losing their father and the mother her husband.
I hope your family, uncle and aunt are improving.
