LOL, they look pretty good, sometimes some breeds they need to be taped to look like that, puppies , as the cartilage goes from soft to hardened

With a major El Niño event brewing off the left coast of the US now, warm water is bringing with it some exotic species (along with great tuna catches). These critters are Opah, all of which are over 150 pounds, caught recently out of San Diego. In my home state, Oregon, they've been catching a few but they're generally smaller, like 40 or 50 pounds.

Yeah ... pretty, too, ain't they? As I don't get 30 or 40 miles offshore, it is unlikely I'll find out personally but I understand them critters is mighty tasty, too.
