We are getting way too much rain. They are telling everyone to stay home, most of the roads are underwater. They will be renaming the state to Lake Oklahoma if it don't stop soon. People are on there roofs in places, ridding there jet skis on the roads, swimming in the streets.

Hope you've got a stockpile of food and clean water.

That's good. I live in New Orleans and have a place a few blocks from the beach in MS.
The house in NOLA has never had water in it.... ever. The one in MS had never flooded either, technically it still hasn't it survived Camille and Betsy(before my time). But Katrina floated it in one piece 5 miles away. Hahaha
Still with zero water damage inside.
But the flooded streets here are a few times a year, so is loss of power, we just got in the habit of having a gobag, of sorts. Fresh waters, freeze dried meals, and MRE's.
Made me a huge fan of preaching it to anyone dealing with mother nature's moodiness.

I'm a boy scout and we are always prepared. I've got stuff stashed all over the place. Living in Oklahoma you have to be ready for everything. Tornado, floods, earthquakes, hail, sometimes all in one day.

I just made a quick trip to my shop and back. Saw a lot of cars in places cars don't belong. With all the rain and flooding lot of people drove their cars off the road into yards and ditches. Rain gage at the shop showed 9 inches of rain.
Wow that's a lot of rain ! where are you located? I didn't win at the casino
But I had a lot of fun and did see a lot of people win. Now I can end my night by losing here lol

I'm in Oklahoma, we have already set the record of "most rain in a month" by several inches and the month is not over yet. They are forecasting more rain each day until the end of the month.
We can use some rain up here in New York. Been pretty dry lately but it should rain hopefully tonight and tomorow. Grass and plants need it and they keep raising the water bill so it's better when it rains. God morning all !

For one brief moment, yes. But...
The Kbox is my tough boy, it really handles just about everything you put on it, It never fails to fire, and I get good battery time with it surprisingly. Its in my main every day line up use for sure, can't go wrong with it. IMO

I just got off the phone with the Camp Ranger. I asked about the roads in the camp. He said he has not been able to look at them because of the rain. We have had years that dozens of cars , trucks and even tractors got stuck ,each week. I told him that I would come down a few days early and run the road grader on the roads. But only if it stops raining, can't run the grader in the mud.
I like that statement that you don't have to go camping you get to go camping. Sounds like a little program or Joel Osteen maybe. Whatever it is that's the attitude !
