She's been gone a week, I have 11 dirty shirts, 8 dirty pants, 8 pairs of unders and hopefully and even number of socks.
Just one load for the dish washer. Been feeding the dogs and cat on paper plates. Been drinking Dr.Pepper, V8 from the cans, juice from the small bottles, and tea from glasses. Been either eating out or eating from bowls that I use
to reheat/cook meals in the microwave and eat out of.
The house is just clean enough that she will not kill me.
But not too clean that she thinks I don't need her or I had someone come in and clean it.
I've done this before.

Almost, I just got on the scales and I've gained 3 pounds this week. If she finds out I'll get the "you don't like my cooking" speech. Don't you tell her, but I just took the battery out of the scales, just in case.
So, since we're not telling her, do you like her cooking? And what's in it for us??

She just got home and after making comments about me not running the vacuum ,she went to take a nap.

My GF is mad because she broke her cell phone.

Beat to death win ! Just got done fixing the driveway gate. Neighbor backed into the pole the gate hangs on. Had to break up the concrete and fix it. Oh and I thought I was going to break it real easy with a big chisel and sledgehammer. I could have used a jack hammer ! It was hot to ! 4 asprins and the couch next lol

She's not really cleaning house, She's just making noise because I said I was not going to go today (Sunday) and get her a new phone. She doesn't know how to use the one she had, and doesn't really want one that does anything other than impress her friends with a fancy phone.
Today I decided to finally take a trip to Centralia, PA
A city that was abandoned in 1981 due to an underground coal fire which started in the 60s and will burn for another estimated 250 years.
The town was also used as inspiration for the town in the Silent Hill film.
Was too hot and sunny to really experience anything though. Best time to go would be fall or even winter. Then the colder air will result in visible steam coming up in many places and would be able to feel a difference in the ground temp as well. In winter, wouldn't even see snow on the ground in many places.
But did see steam coming up from one vent and on one of the old 4x4 trails there was a small hole that didn't have visible steam but when sticking my hand in front of it felt like hot steam was coming out.
Closed section of Route 61, famous for the deep fissures in it.
