The should have called in sick win. My gosh what a day it has been. One of those murphy's law kind of days IT guys dread when the known fixes don't work and after ours of troubleshooting with microsoft, dell, and cisco, you have come full circle to square zero... They will all have techs onsite within the next 4 hours. At least for the next 4 hours I can try and relax, then stay until the respective techs have fixed their issues, so they are not in our data center without company escort.

These are not related issues, all separate, but all major. We can count losses today of over $1,000,000 due to these outages.

Nah, I already had a Department of Transportation physical done in April, and it was good until 2017.
Getting ready to go back to the trucking company again now that my blood sugar is under control and I had to do a drug test again, but for some reason they thought I needed to have a DOT physical as well so scheduled that along with it. I went to the doctor yesterday and got the drug test. today I got a call from the company asking why I didn't do the physical as well. After a bit of chatting they said to go ahead and do it anyway.

Doesn't cost me anything but a few hours out of my day and I have no other plans, so no big deal.
Fucked up part though is that now that I have type 2 diabetes, I can only get certified for a year at a time instead of 2 years, so the old 2 year medical card has been replaced with a 1 year card.
