Looking for a new RdTa

Time to get that thing out of your life kloudz. Bury it in your back yard or toss it in the trash. Don't feel bad, I made the same mistake, even saying it was a good tank in the beginning. But I can plead ignorance since I'm relatively new to this business (just 4 months of building). The thing lacks flavor....that's what some of the Youtube reviews say also. It has a big chamber which is not typically a good sign. It's a cheap tank (23 bucks for me) so it ain't a big thing.

So I got the Crius plus rta and I gotta say that I think it's a piece of shit. I can't wick the fucking thing to save my life, leaks all over or fucking dry hits. I've built this thing so many times and wicked so many different ways in the last 4 days that now I'm outta wire and fed up with it.
Avacado24 IMO is the best one for RDTA but i have a couple on the way that could challenge it. for a true RTA i'd probably just go with TFV8, it comes with the RBA deck and you can always just buy coils for it too if you want

+1 on the Avocado. Not a big fan of the Genny style tanks but so far the Avocado is my favorite. Geekvape just has been knocking it out of the park lately.

I contacted vaporDna about the shitty product, can't wait to see what there, if any, reply is. But yeah I'm chalking this up as a bad mistake.

Original Limitless is cheap easy to build on and has great flavor. It takes me 5sec to fill it with a unicorn bottle. If you wick it properly it won't leak.
Moonshot is hated by most people but I never had a problem with it. Deck has to be locked with provided hex wrench whil you build on it. It is best performing RDTA besides Limitless imo. Once I found those two I Have sold everything else because I have stopped using it. Moonshot can be had in 22mm and 24mm size but is has small capacity.

Yep, and while I don't own either the Mage is widely thought of as a better version of the Moonshot.

We have a different opinion on that subject and that's fine. I like Limitless because it can be taken apart with no tools, it is lighter then Avocado, and it doesn't get hot as much. Had 22mm Avocado and I wasn't impressed with it so I never got 24mm. A lot of people see Mage as improved Moonshot because of the deck, but they complain about top cap as well, never had a problem unscrewing top cap from Moonshot. It takes me few seconds to refill it. This is just my opinion. I like em that's why I have 5 moonshot sand 2 original Limitless RDTAs.

of course we are all entitled to our opinion :)
I was speaking specifically of the 24 though, it's much improved over the 22. No reason to disassemble it except for cleaning and I'd assume anyone buying an RDTA has at least a small screw driver.

here is an old thread on it
http://vapingunderground.com/threads/limitless-rdta-vs-avocado-24mm.238142/page-2

Limitless is ok, they are similar but I think the avcado is better. I also think that geekvape makes better quality products then Ijoy
Geek vapes stuff was made in ijoy factory at the start for many moons so i joy made Griffin at one point ,
Its why i joy stepped up there game an started up with LMC to make its own mist taked about atty,s , An now both i joy LMC practically have the same RDTA out Since parting ways , combo an whatever lmc called theres at same time doing same thing , looking very similar too , i think both over rated, if wants flavours the boreas or supreme or mod father (bit pricey though)
Are side airflow , bottom fed decks like RDA styles , RTA,s these are just flavours chaser rta,s but these are my own preference an not everyone has same build styles or likes , other wise the buzz wouldn't be around thoses two companies when theres plenty of others who make dam good rta,s an rda,s

How secure is the top fill on the Crius plus and does the juice control turn to easy our does it have some nice firm resistance to it?
Billow v3 plus on sale gearbest its deffo better than that Crius i have them both an limitless plus v1 ,v2 , prefare the billow v3 plus over them. Also its 15ÂŁ aromamizer supreme on sale 19ÂŁ. , Too cheap now not to pick up one plus there a postless deck coming out for the supreme its out with limited edition for 7ml version ,then released shorty for sale separately on its own , both good rya,s so is boreas im rotating through many rta,s daily an gave at least 5 good ones used more than Others

squonking is a great idea
prior to the newest lin eof tanks like the limitless plus avacodo etc

in a tank the coil was alway sseveral inches away from the dt
vapor had to travel up a chimney

where in an rda the coils ar emuch closer to the dt

this can change gow much flavor you get

rdas are so much simpler
no glass or whatever to break
no leaking usually

so rdas up until about 8-12 months ago always were easier to deal with and had better flavor than tanks
only issue was dripping constantly

so solution to that is squonking
carry 5-8ml of juice with you in a hard mod
juice dont leak from the bottle in your pocket or bag cuz its laying in there loose and unprotected

everything is self contained
its quicker to operate an rda by squonking
etc etc etc

but with many of the newest tanks
rdas are not leaps and bounds better in flavor anymore
add into that the availability of premade advanced wires and coils, making more flavorful coils more readily available to the public

rdas are no longer the undisputed kings of flavor. many tanks can come close or match them
so no need for squonking for me

while many rdas are still more flavorful then many tanks, i feel the flavor in my limitless plus rivals or matches my petri with identical builds
and my griffins are not that far off from my petri either using identical builds

its all a matter of personal choice. its cool there are so many choices out now

it does look like a good tank but it's just too dam big for my liking. maybe if they ever made a 24 or 25mm version i'd jump in on it
Mod farther is just a bigger version of a boreas without juice flow control , both are good tanks , both have deck options ,
So I got the Crius plus rta and I gotta say that I think it's a piece of shit. I can't wick the fucking thing to save my life, leaks all over or fucking dry hits. I've built this thing so many times and wicked so many different ways in the last 4 days that now I'm outta wire and fed up with it.

I need something that has top fill, 25mm and holds at least 5ml and has a nice big deck to build on
Boreas ,25mm top fill , 2 x build large build decks, can swap over decks without emptying the tank , top fill , side airflow , direct onto coils , flavourful rta , . 4 piece tank 5 with other decks . 5ml

aromamizer Supreme 7ml same as above but only 1 deck ,25 mm top fill , side airflow , deck gets fed with juice from below , like
boreas 4 piece tank

Billow v3 plus , 25 mm to fill , 2 post build deck ,nice builds juice flow control , like above rta,s , can tale deck out without draining tank 3 piece tank 5.2ml.

Geek vape has realised that the Griffin 25 with bigger chamber lacked flavours so went with bottom fed deck barely , but my griffin is a pittyful fail to me .
so not buying the new one , My billow plus v3 , is used daily an ive just ordered a thrid , for uk tdp in may to tide me over ive got all these tanks an i still billow v3 plus, Stupidly i sold my first an regretted so bought another an a third is on its way gearbest sales , 2 x boreas , 2 x bellus , also , i like these rta,s so got spares incase. I believe in uk you wont be able to buy after may 2017 , might be wrong but if custom s stops them you lose them , just trying now to buy the supreme postless deck , mod farther postless deck , mod farther shorty tank kit , an think i will stop for a while , an stock up on liquids nicotine an base liquids , got more than enough to keep me going for a while , i get decent flavours from my ones in rotation why break something that aint broken for me , these combos work well for me ,
Think i will store my limitless plus RDTA an my griffin for later days or sell on maybe before may , idk yet,

Boreas pal , 2 deck flavours fantastic on it , ive got mine with juggernaut coils ,an its great , its everything your wanting , raise them coils leave a gap below the coils an cotton for side airflow to circulate round them coils an you'll love it , boreas , supreme, An mod farther similar setups , but
Boreas has two decks one with slightly larger wicking holes + airflow control/juice flow control , its a great rta,

Might be for you might not , its all subjective to personal preference likes dislikes ect , it fits mine , but might do, or might not for you

Here is a side by side...... Once you go Boreas, and the flavor and the clouds and knowing there is something really better out there...... Then it's Modfather time...... Not much difference in size........ Here are side by sides.....

Nice, it really is a great tank for sure, I've had most of them, even the Griffin 25 plus, nothing can match this. The boreas is another gem for sure, the supreme isn't bad once you change the drip tip, there the only two tanks I use. Unless Im out and about, then I still rate the super tank mini on the pico ha..
I want to try the postless deck for the modfather but getting one is proving very difficult :(

My fav build in the modfather is SS alien claptons wicked with cotton bacon v2, 120w, best flavor I've had from any setup..

Griffin 25 Plus and Billow 2.5 (updated 2, newer than 3) videos went up on Youtube yesterday from the usual reviewer suspects if anyone wants to check those out. I thought the Griffin 25 Plus just was a kit with the top airflow and non-top-airflow caps, but it had other changes, like different deck, AFC and JFC.

Based only on the videos and my Griffin 25 Mini, I think I'd try the Billow 2.5 and pass for now on the Griffin 25 Plus. I don't like that the non-top airflow cap is all one piece.

Saw the Vaping Fagan Youtube on the 2.5....he compared it to the 3. Interesting how his 3 o ring where the base meets the tank....much thicker than mine. Eccigty is sending me a new SS tank because my black one weeps at that o ring area. They sent me the same thin replacement o rings so that's odd and didn't help at all. I do alot of business with them so I'm glad they are trying to accomodate me. Not crazy about pop top fill. But it's a fantastic tank.

Well the truth is 95% of all the stuff we buy is made in Chinese factories, Even the American companies get their products manufactured there. As one pointed out before the limitless is lighter, which is true but to me it feels cheaper. Most people that have had both prefer the avacado. Even within companies products have a higher quality in the case of say hohmtech and american company they still manufacture in china. and their G2 is a higher quality then their hohmslice. Same brand, Same manufacturing plant, different quality. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the point.

And yes you are correct, it's all very subjective, Personally I think bottom airflow gives the best flavor, others might disagree. I think top airflow gives the worst. If i had to list it I'd say Bottom, Side, Top in that order. Thats why i prefer the tsunami to the avocado, I think it has better flavor. The 1 advantage of the avacado is not having to drip. But now that I got the pharaoh last night (which I'll write more about in another thread) I think this has passed up everything for my favorite RDA, and it's somewhat like a RDTA but with a smaller capacity then most.

Im not a fan of the limitless plus RDTA either its my opinion which is subjective , but i do not get what all the fuss is about , the /bottom ,/side /top airflow things also a personal preference ,which is also subjective too , personally i do like a lot the rta,s that have side airflow ,= ud bellus ,( mine dont leak) Boreas , supreme 7ml , mod farther , give fantastic flavours an vape from , the griffin , crius plus / quad deck/ Griffin ect im now going to list on eBay .uk , i just haven't taken to them , the ijoy tornado is great once you have pissed about with it a lot , has good flavours but can be a right pain in arse to get right once there its dam perfect , my most used rta,s are ud bellus perfect flavours , side airflow direct , never leaks on me , billow v3 plus amazing rta, of you get one without the lose leaky airflow. Which mines perfect so love it , boreas is dam fantastic flavours , mod father another great rta , supreme another great rta too , but others will list the Griffin an limitless plus as there top attys , im not taken with either of them two so its just subjective , i mix. Supply my pals with juices so usually have at least 4-5 rta,s on the go at once , an the limitless ,crius Griffin are never part of thoses i go to daily, but thats just me i have my own preferences an these are not the same as everybody else ,

yah, i'm running a .3ohm SS316 build in both attys. more than enough flavor and vapor for my liking. my vaping habits have changed quite a bit in the past couple of months. i was vaping my RTAs around 50-80w, but now i find myself enjoying more single coils with restricted lung hits around 20-35w. it's saved me a lot of juice and battery life. i'm also offending a lot less people cutting down on clouds lol.

i still got my sig213 and Limitless+, avocado24 and tornado nano on deck for when i want huge vapor and flavor.

can't speak for modfather, but Boreas has plenty of air. it was my favorite RTA for a while until i got the Limitless RDTA and Limitless+. then i put down my Limitless' for the squonkers. :)

How tall is the boreas without the drip tip
Smaller than billow v3 smaller than Griffin 25mm , boreas is just under 2 inches to top not include drip tip an under just 5cm tall not included the drip tip , including drip tip 6.5 cm tall
