I have had it with regulated devices. I'm too hard on them I guess. Burned up three of them. All that circuitry and wires. No thanks. Not to mention with mech mods, your builds mean something. This gauge this, parallel that, inner coil diameter, clapton at .31 ohm. It really matters and affects how you vape. With regulated mods, a lot of that goes away. It just vapes what you set, not what you build. I prefer that if I'm going to take the time to build, I want it to matter, hence nothing but mechs for me.
If you're concerned about building low, get a parallel box mech mod. You get double the amp rating. I build as low as .13 ohms without even coming close to stressing my 25R's. I recommend the all copper Abaddon clone. For about 30 bucks, you get a good hitter without any wires or MOSFETs or extra b.s. Just straight battery circuitry. I have one and love it. I do more than half of my vaping on it. I think anyone would be happy with it.
