@Eric DeCastro the tank on the red 18650 Nemesis, is that a modified Billow? If so where did that top cap with the heat sinks come from?

New Valk. knock-off, in a 'fitz-all' type of flashlight case, good protection. Just push the device though, to remove, w/ RDA, or built-in atomizer. NOT gonna be 'jump-rated', but fer doin' typical movements it's quite good. Made by Nite Ize, found in Tool Porn, whilst getting a loupe.mini-DSC_000005.JPG mini-DSC_000002.JPG

LOL - kid? Maybe mentally...at 42 I've been building a career for 22 years that eventually started paying enough to be comfortable...still work hard for every dime tho ;-) that said - I spend WAY too much on this stuff but I can't seem to stop...it's like freaking Pokemon for ex-smoker adults :)?

You got a Hobo atty in there anywhere you want to sell?
I do have a Hobo - authentic and a clone - at first I wasn't too happy with it...but over time, with some trial and error, I've finally got it performing great and am now happy with it (the authentic, that is). The clone is *horrible* - it would be almost unethical to even give it away :) (I got it mostly because it came with all colors of tophats...and to have spare parts)!

One semi-mech, oh well, still a beast!!! Slug-TOBH still my adv though.
@pierces32 - How do you like the Slug? Have one on the way - pretty excited, but I bought it on looks and a few reviews. Also, did hid you wrap something on the lock-screw there, or is that just glare from the pic?

Wrapped Teflon tape on it so it won't back out, other have drilled a hole through the side of the screw and attached a chain to it. I never use the lock screw so it is just stationary. I use my slug all day everyday, though I have modded mine some. Used a dremel armed with fine sandpaper to smooth out the sharper edges on the top & bottom brass caps, and the ribbed fire lever , gives it a more worn look and makes it feel more comfortable in hand. I also ground down the fire lever so that it is flat. Out of the box the lever is concave and was causing some misfires. Other than that, I love it, it hits hard. One other thing I almost forgot, the firepin delrin sleeve needed some Teflon tape around the threading to keep it from falling out.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

I do find vaping to be quite the "ex smokers club"...

Reworked a cheapo Beast Box today. Big radii in the corners, rounded and smoothed edges everywhere. Now it feels really nice in the hand. Gonna install a new "high flush" switch and Fatdaddy spring loaded core for the 510 connector. Just have to wait for the linseed oil to dry a bit before reassembly.

Just finished assembly. Gonna do one more application of linseed oil, then bees wax for a little sheen and protection. I generally dislike box mods because of how they feel in the hand. This one now feels very soft and smooth even with the bottom corner resting in the palm. :)

And it's hitting great now, much harder than stock. I stripped the connections down to the bare minimum with better wiring and a better switch. Also really liking the new Zero Gravity. Altogether a good Sunday for vapecraft. :D

Stock cheapo Beast Box can be found here. Surprisingly good start for the money:

Mine came in Friday. Been using it for almost 3 days now and I love it! Still working out the best way(s) to hold/fire it comfortably- but it is a joy to use. I see what you mean about the lock screw. I found what I feel is a somewhat elegant solution...

Works quite well - still allows easy lock and unlock, yet it never budges from whatever position I leave it in, nor does it rattle. I think I'm going to really like this mod a lot...just wish it was dual battery :)

Is that a spring on the lock? I would definitely recommend sanding down the fire lever to avoid getting a sore fingers. The only maintenance I do on mine is polish the copper battery holder & the fire lever once a month or so. I know you will enjoy it.

Yeah - it's a silver plated spring I had laying around - works perfectly for the lock screw - keeps it stable and perfectly 'set' wherever I leave it. I most certainly agree about sanding down the fire lever 'fins' - they wear on the finger after a while!

I love Krakens so much. This is awesome.

Thanks :) The Kraken is one of my favorite all around atties so it will always be in my collection, even if its gets put to the side sometimes. Performs great with the MCR too.

Great pairing there! Less is definitely more ;)

Here's another MCR101 w/ the Svoemesto KF4..

So sexy KKen ;-) I want a copper nickel top cap sooooo bad, or even a brass one. That would be ideal for this Kraken pairing for me, while leaving the locking ring SS. The lines of the Kraken and MCR play really well together. :)

Is that a Vaponaute drip tip btw? I just bought No.11 and that looks like it. So excited to get this tiny bugger too, it will look the biz with the OZ22/Paps combo :D

Jay Bo (Tobh) Bambino on an authentic SS Smpl
excellent flavor, larger deck and deeper juice-well than a derringer

View attachment 17009

I just saw the Bambino for the first time the other day and I am digging it. That set up looks great!

Why yes, good eye you have;) I ordered mine through vaperev, also got the #14 but was way bigger than I thought, so didn't like that one too much. Where did you get yours? I want to try some of their other styles but can't find any available in the states, it's definitely become my favorite brand now, so comfortable to use!

Btw, what do think about the smiley face MCR "Madchester" button? I'm not familiar with the backstory on that one though.

Aha! I knew it! :p I notice EVERYTHING Ken ... I have been on a long search for the perfect white teflon or delrin drip tip, all others purchased thus far have been minor to major fails in terms of what I was really looking for. I have come to realize that white teflon tips are a better "white" than delrin, at least in my opinion. Finally I found the white drip tip that I have been looking for from go!

I also purchased my Vaponaute DT from Vaperev, and I picked up two others from another French modder DNV. Never heard of the company before, but I can't lie I was like "Oh, French?" LOL .. I am such a sucker :p

I like the smiley face MCR Limited Edition button, which ain't so limited because you can still buy them! I think the new button was to commemorate their 1 yr anniversary. I like the embellishments on both button styles but I am very partial to the OG button style and I don't think you can get the Smiley face in OG style.

Same thoughts exactly, I had some Derlin/Plastic ones but they felt too "delriny/plasticy" if you know what I mean, LOL

This is the one I am searching for in the states, its the #13 which is the one I really want.

This was the set up I ran today. I have a .85ohm coil in the Kayfun sitting on a Le Petit Gros. Averaged a (700mah efest 18350) battery per tank, which I was really happy with. Ended up only having to swap batteries and re-fill once in an 8 hour work shift. Will probably be rocking this setup more often. Especially when I'm out and about.

I do know exactly what you mean! The teflon tips come off "higher quality" than most delrin tips IMO. I like #13 too, and I thought it was strange that Vaponaute's DT line up used to be larger, but when you go to their website there are only like 4 different DT's now, and No. 11 and 13 are not included :(

Yeah, and the other thing is the numbering of the various drip tips seems off depending on where you look. I've seen #11 being shown as a completely different tip when I image search the Vaponaute DT's off Google.
