This Ivogo Dimitri is so good nothing really needs to be done on the inside. (Attn:
@muth.) The electrical circuit and contacts are a superb design. No current passes through the switch and all the contact points are big and flat. I did tune the switch a little, shortening the throw, smoothed edges inside the mechanism, and finally chamfered and polished the button itself. Buttery smooth, efficient and consistent. Love this switch.
As expected, the exterior edges and corners had to be reworked. Just too sharp in the hand for me, particularly the corner that presses into the palm. Instead of radii I went for angular facets everywhere and about as big as I felt I could.
With the rough work done but before finishing, I thought I'd reassemble and try it for a while. The facets do the trick, and even rough are very comfortable. Finish? Not sure yet. Maybe just brushed and softened a bit. Maybe polished.
Hate the brass plaque and script. Not sure about what to do with it.
