No, no,.....I just got her yesterday! :D
There's no way that I'm gonna strip it bare and shine it up a second time. It arrived from the philippines with production grime and an irregular patina. So I stripped it down and polished it up to clean it. As far as polishing often?,....I ain't in the Army! :D:eek:

i would have sanded it with 400 grit sand paper and 600 grit sandpaper and polish it up, it will be like a cube of mirror.

I also snagged an Origen RDA but have not played with it yet..
How much did that conspiracy mod set you back if you don't mind me asking and where can I get one.as I love conspiracy theories I'd like one of those.

I picked it up at a local vape shop (and it was their last one). It was $165 I think but I can't remember because I also purchased a few RDA's and some other stuff.

It's a very, very, very well made mod and interior is very clean as well.

I think they are sold out everywhere online. I don't think they made many and I got lucky and scored a 2 tone one..

Mine is the mini. I think they also make a full sized version that's a little taller (both have a Mosfet) because it has a battery volt meter inside where as the mini does not have that.

I wanted the mini because it's smaller and iI don't need the battery volt meter.

New toy today, a Kayfun v4..

Sitting atop my Conspiracy mod with a 5-star drip tip to top it off..

I am really liking the Kayfun v4 so far. 1st build was 1.2ohm and it's rockin'!

I got the s kit for mine you get peak insulator and wider air flow if you are happy with builds above 1 ohm you don't really need it though.

I am okay above an ohm but will look into the kit just for when the subohm mood suits me..

That's ok I love my kayfun too really well built if you want a little better airflow you can just remove that little screw that you tighten or loosen altogether that's what I did.

Cool.. Air flow is fine for me so far.. It is pretty nice.

I've had all the previous Kayfuns and really like the vape they provide. The $180 price tag was a wee bit hard to swallow though. I did get 15% knocked off the price from a local vape shop where a large chunk of my retirement goes to.. LOL

What the heck, you only live once right?

Yes you do and hopefully longer off the cigs I bought a lemo drop Wednesday and I'm using that at the moment great flavour and pretty decent cloud. I'm using my kayfun drip tip on it as I think it's better than the lemo one.

I saw potential in this Who Dares Wins 26650 mod, specifically the form factor and material, and thought in the worst case I could use the aluminum casting and replace the main components. That turned out to be the case. Stock performance was poor, hampered by a typically weak switch (current passing through small spring) and iffy contact with the 510 center pin. I retired the stock switch and installed an LPG tube mod switch up top. It doesn't look much like an LPG switch anymore because I shortened the bezel so the button would sit up high. A quality spring loaded 510 replaced the original. There is one wire inside going from the bottom of the battery to the 510, otherwise the connections are solid and mechanical. Hits great and feels very nice in the hand. Been using it with a 4200 mah battery, but will probably try one of the new 5200 mah types. Total height to the top of the button is under 90mm.

I'm not sure I'm done with the finish with this one. All I did was chemically strip it, square up the top and bottom surfaces, soften the edges and give it a satin hand finish using different grits of metal finishing pads. The front seems to need something though. Maybe a big circular Lucky Strike sticker or a bulls eye?

This Ivogo Dimitri is so good nothing really needs to be done on the inside. (Attn: @muth.) The electrical circuit and contacts are a superb design. No current passes through the switch and all the contact points are big and flat. I did tune the switch a little, shortening the throw, smoothed edges inside the mechanism, and finally chamfered and polished the button itself. Buttery smooth, efficient and consistent. Love this switch.

As expected, the exterior edges and corners had to be reworked. Just too sharp in the hand for me, particularly the corner that presses into the palm. Instead of radii I went for angular facets everywhere and about as big as I felt I could.

With the rough work done but before finishing, I thought I'd reassemble and try it for a while. The facets do the trick, and even rough are very comfortable. Finish? Not sure yet. Maybe just brushed and softened a bit. Maybe polished.

Hate the brass plaque and script. Not sure about what to do with it.
