Well the alcohol will dehydrate you like the 6 to 8 cups of coffee I drink in the AM. Funny how old habits never die! I like to Vape Tobacco in the morning with my coffee and since I started the DIY and now can actually vape flavors funny how an after dinner vape can turn into a flavor or tobacco depending on if I finished my glass of wine.

Very interesting. I have a new question for you guys. Why does my tank have amazing flavor but my RDA doesnt. I've tried some 80/20 in the rda but also my 60/40 just to see if that was the issue.

There are lots of factors in providing good flavor -- airflow, shape of the atty's interior, temperature/power... Try a different RDA, you may be surprised, because a really good flavor-atty will definitely provide more flavor than any tank. The important aspect for me is for the airflow to be right below the coil/wick, so that the airflow becomes saturated with flavor.

Right there with you brother. Let's just say I stay dehydrated. Which is bad in my line of work.

Dehydration is bad PERIOD! So many physical problems from Heart Rate to Kidneys, muscle cramps and even coherency.

They should teach you to know better than that. Dangerous to yourself and others I have actually witnessed a person go crazy in the heat of the sun from dehydration. Not pretty and very scary.

Haha. I definitely know better that's why I drink so much water. But I stay a little dehydrated not matter how much I drink.

If I was making 60/40 I probably would be at 10-12% myself. But with TFA, Capella & FW flavors I find I need higher percentages at thicker viscosities. I am waiting on a good sized order to arrive from FA & I'm told they are more concentrated.
I can't wait to find out.
I make all of my juice at 30pg/70vg all the time and 99.5% of the time stay under 11% flavoring. That is where taste is subjective and to each is their own. I am really happy about that as flavoring is the most expensive ingredient and I use way less than most. Any commercial bought I could easily make 4 bottles out of it diluting 1:4 ratio with unflavored. :D

Airflow also affects the way flavor taste as well as amount of heat applied. Different flavors react to each aspect. I notice that anything with blueberry flavor takes a tighter draw to bring out the blueberry flavor. Hope this helps. Just finished reading all posts....see @AndriaD post above. :D

Instead of buying some flavorings I was thinking about buying some Marshmallow store bought to add to a recipe but I need to figure out how to calculate the finished liquid with the calculator. Like how much to use is what I am wondering.

And temp is especially important with any kind of tobacco-flavored vape; I just posted my recipe last night for my Cherry-Vanilla Pipe Tobacco, and there's a big diff in the flavor depending on whether I'm vaping it at 8 or 8.5 watts, or at 10-10.5 watts -- at the higher power, it's more tobacco-ish, definitely more TH; at lower power, it's sweeter, more dessert-like than tobacco-like. I'm thinking that may be true with the sweeter RY4-types too.

Lowering the percentages really helped a lot guys. I appreciate it. I gotta make a buddy a juice of 80 vg 20 pg. I usually use 8 percent for my 60/40. Since the VG is higher should I go for 10% flavoring?

I would start at 8% and work your way up if necessary. Easier to add then to extract.

Good Luck! :ejuice::ejuice::ejuice::ejuice::ejuice::ejuice:

I don't know how to word this, and it's going to sound kind of weird... so I'm going to see if I can get this out right... I make 3 different juices that I love to mix into one bottle when I'm done. How do I calculate all those together. Do I change the percent or should I just make them the same old way I always do and put everything into one bottle. I feel like I'm asking a dumb question but I can't exactly get my head around it. Okay now I just feel really dumb.

I suppose you could make a flavoring base. Convert the % to ML instead, and all in one bottle, then use that as ONE flavor, add to base to taste.
