Hi All,
I'm new to this forum, but not new to vaping. Been using various VV/VW mods and a week or so ago, I got my first TC mod. A Snow Wolf Mini 75w along with some Ti Grade 1 26 gauge wire to build a dual coil setup on my Goblin tank. I built a .28 ohm dual micro/contact coil setup and for the most part, everything works great, but there are some questions I'd like to see if you can help answer and I apologize in advance if it's too many questions at once, but I figure it's easier to lay them all out and have people answer what they can:
1. The SW Mini doesn't have a Joules setting, so it's either Ti TC mode and you set the temp, Ni200 TC mode and you set the temp, or power mode (i.e. VW mode). Without having a Joules setting, how does this change the characteristics/performance of the TC?
2. I generally keep my temp around 350-400 and everything works fine, but I do still occasionally get dry hits (not full burnt hit although I did get a burnt hit when I tried spaced coils. Anyone know why this would be? Thought TC mode was to help prevent this.
3. For those familiar with the SW Mini setup, to set the resistance, you are to press the minus and power at the same time and it updates the resistance to the atomizer connected. Does this mean if you don't do that, it assumes it's at the last "registered" resistance? If this is the case, perhaps that's why item #2 occurred for me
4. I see a lot about using spaced coils with Ti coils, but I've always built micro/contact coils. Is there a video or somewhere you can point me that helps with a Ti spaced coil build?
5. How do you remove the juice build up from the coils when you are washing out the RBA? I have read in many places that you don't want to dry burn Ti coils, but haven't found another reasonable way to get the gunk off.
I think 5 is plenty for now and I'm sure I'll have many more follow up questions. Thanks in advance!
Tony
