Unfortunately that’s the problem with our community, and one of the reasons I rarely do forums. People tend to never be happy. What are ya gonna do. I just keep doing my thing and hope to be able to bring good products for people who want / need them. I’ll never be able to please everyone, and I get that. We really need to stop and support each other, rather than trying to tear everything down. Haters are my motivators. Thanks man
I don't get why people have to slate a product they've not even tried. I actually look forward to this product and I'm sure many do as there is not enough regulated sqounk mods. You've done good here an I can't wait to try it. I also happen to think your a great reviewer and are actually the reason I got the Aspire archon mod! It still works great to this day :)

And as for the Drag mod it is imo the best budget mod, it can't be beat but then again I love a heavy mod. I use my Drag for temp control and my Aegis for wattage mode.
I have the RevengerX which performs pretty well but it feels cheap

I like @tonybproject. One of the few channels I’m subbed to and quite frankly one of the reasons I got interested in vaping and quit smoking. I don’t think I said anything harsh, just thought it was a little hyped for what it was. Certainly did not loose any respect for the guy over it and have no problems with the mod other than it looks a little big for my taste. But what does it matter what myself or @stanglifemike thinks? They will sell despite a couple of comments on the internet.

This will probably hurt some butts but I’m gonna say it. Vaping is a huge industry now and it’s only getting bigger. There is a lot of money being made and a lot of us spending that money. It’s fun to pretend we are all one big happy family but the reality is, it’s a business.

As consumers we have a right to our opinions no matter how harsh or in some cases irrational it may seem. It seems like you can’t criticize a vaping product made by reviewers without the designer or their fans showing up to make corrections or criticisms. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen a reviewer who put out a product show up on YouTube comments to argue with the commenters or the actual person who made the video. Mike Vapes and the dead rabbit guy are the worst offenders. I even saw pbusardo do it recently and thought it was tacky as all get out.

I’m all for the advocacy and protecting our rights but shooting down criticism of a product under the guise of “we all need to stick together” is bullshit. This is not directed at tony, I think it’s great he showed up to answer questions and wish him all the best with his endeavors.

You didn't say anything wrong man :) it's people who slate off products when they've not even tried them "the bottle is too squishy, the bottle is too tough" some people there is just no pleasing.
If a product is over hyped is a different story. That is my view on the Dead Rabbit. It's not as good as people say and no way does it beat my goon.

Thanks Tony. Just keep doing what you do. Maybe I'm a Tony B fanboy. I've liked everything you've come out with. I guess we have similar vape styles. Haven't tried your juices but I may one day.

He vapes similar to me too, he does sub ohm but doesn't vape super high wattage.
But lately I've gone back to MTL

Of course, it will not be perfect, but I think VV and Tony have made a good team for the development of the Pulse 80. I think Tony has brought a lot of his experience in this development and the result is there. For my part, I think I find in the Pulse 80, all I wanted was a box lighter than the Drag, the same chip, a bottle of quality silicone that I will not have to remove, because I will use the Refilling Bottle and a very affordable price for all and for me that's what I've been waiting for a long time, thank you Tony.

That spade is one nice looking mod and although it’s expensive, it’s less than what I thought it would be. If I were you, I’d skip the pulse and save for the spade. Or, you could get both the pulse regulated and unregulated with money leftover for a fancy atty.
im definitely getting that spade man, and i hope that my ipv d2 stays a little longer so i could save up for the spade but if not then ill get this one.

I'm new to the vaping forums, but that is already becoming apparent to me. Honestly tho, even if you had done something drastically different with the internals, there would be way more people bitching about how the internals aren't normal.

I think you did a good job on it man. You didn't try to reinvent the wheel, you just made (what appears to be) a really kickass wheel. And there has been many of those rolling around that the average guy can afford. So thanks for that and for stopping by, I hope none of this scares ya off.

Don't forget about it accepting a larger battery. I dunno about you, but a single 18650 cannot cut it for my preferences anymore... lol

Well since you can ignore these haters, you'll plenty of time to work on things your actual supporters want, this leads me to say the following. As the pulse came out, I was one that said if these people ever make a regulated mod I am going to buy it in a heartbeat, and I still feel that way, however here's my critique so far (haven't tested it yet) why could you guys not kept the regular pulse colors. I really wanted that frosted pink but don't feel safe enough of using a unregulated mod just yet :(

As than the information dropped that the voopoo chip is going to be uterlized, I got even more excited since I own a couple drags, was hoping to see the coral version (yes that damn version nobody seems to sell but is pink purple resin) after having seen the colors I'm disappointed @tonybproject and I know there will be panels that can be purchased but man I need a pink or some more girly mod, get to work please :D

Anyways, keep up the good work, people will always hate and that's fine, just don't let these people drag you down. Enjoy your products you design and the way from alpha/beta/sample to final retail version, lots of us do that already.

Really man? I even signed up here, which I don’t do forums, to let everyone know that the insides aren’t anything revolutionary and we simply couldn’t show them yet because we didn’t want 1:1 clones out before we were ready to announce. I mean, what more could you do to make them special? We made it very clean and we re-designed the bottle to make it easier to fill and cap. Just like I said earlier in this thread. We showed the insides at the expo and everyone was happy with them. Simple as that. It’s not like the briefcase in Pulp Fiction I was simply excited that I could show my baby off after nearly a year of testing and development when I did that video, and NDA stated at the time that no pics or video of the inside because of potential clones. People are funny.
I never expected people to get mad over my comment. I simply said I don't see the point in having people "ooooohhh & aaahhhh" over the inside, when the inside isn't really different than any other squonk mod. I totally understand not showing the inside due to not wanting people to clone it before you release it, that's fine. But I still don't think that some false hype should be made about an inside that isn't any different. I even said I like the mod and will buy it when it's available, I just don't agree with the idea behind creating hype over nothing.
So for anyone who can't see the big picture - I like the mod and plan to buy it, I like Tony & watch his channel, I don't like hyping up something that isn't there.... Hopefully that's simple enough for everyone to understand.

I'm disappointed in the resin colors. There are too many colored mixed in for my liking, like red being mixed with the purple/blue. It just doesn't look good in my opinion. But I think it's safe to say they are going to sell a lot of these mods, enough for Vandy Vape to release lots of new panels for people to accessorize their mods. So I'm not even considering the stock panels to be a huge problem.

I like my Resin Drag but would of preferred the Pulse with just plain colours as I like the simplicity of the original

Yea man, I totally feel ya. I’ve had my fair share of criticism and I try to take it on the chin, learn from it and move on. It’s pretty hard to be the person who it is directed at, but I think I’ve handled myself better than some I appreciate everything you’ve said here and take it to heart.

Yea, nothing is perfect. Otherwise we’d never have to buy another mod again. While I have been designing, I still find mods and attys I like as much or more than my own! Thanks brother!

I was not expecting the responses from posting the pic. (Sorry) I totally thought it would be more positive. I for one love it. It's clean simple and most important of all affordable. I hope I can get my hands on one. I gave up on squonking when I bought my first squonk the capo 100 and it sucked bad. Then I seen this. So hopefully that changes. Can't wait to get one of these.
Thanks Tony B. You did. A great job.

Capo 100 was my first squonker too since trying a Reo back in the day. It was horrible.

I got a Geekvape GBox and it's completely changed my mind. Now I get it. I was planning to buy a couple of mods in the near future but that plan is now scrapped. I want a few squonkers now.

I'm very excited about this one but I'm a bit bummed about no 21700 support. They literally had to add just 1mm to the width. I'm super impressed with Golisi S35, 21700 battery at 30A and 3700mah. I don't know if I wanna get a few of those 30A, 3000mah 20700 now.

Thank you for the information, very appreciate, my pre-order was accepted with Vapesourcing, I imagine they are in China, I never ordered with them, but the price is very reasonable $ 50.90 with delivery and it accepts PayPal, all that remains is to be very patient!

I thought you said the refill bottle would be included with the Pulse 80, but just now I read it will be an additional charge. Do you know which is correct?
Also, Is the Vaporl.com pre-order legit, or should we avoid that site as well?

I think I read somewhere that the vaporl is NOT legit so I would hold off until @tonybproject confirms.

eciggity has pre-order up now too at a fair price. That is where I will likely buy unless my local shops stock them at a fair price and I can get it on their wild wednesday 20% off hardware deal they do every week.

I sent Tony a message about the bottle, I'll let y'all know if I hear back.

I love the seaweed green color, way better than the other resin options.

I asked Tony about this since I'm obviously very interested in this mod and have been told those bottle are awesome. He said there was an issue with a supplier increasing the price of their parts (I remember him saying this before in another place). They had to make a decision on what to do, since I assume they wanted to be able to offer it within a certain price range. So they went with two offerings, one with the bottle and one without. He said distributors are deciding which one (if both) they want to carry.

So be sure to buy the right one if you guys are planning on ordering one of these!

Is Eciggity the only US-based distributor that has them up for pre-order? It appears they are stocking the version without the bottle and I'd be interested to see how much the other version would cost.

Well I don't use refill bottles, so I'm glad they're also offering it without the bottle instead of raising the price. But with that being said, I was excited about getting one for free. So I'm really not sure how I feel about this news, since I'm happy yet disappointed at the same time. Hopefully that makes sense

I don't like the resin options at all, but the all black carbon fiber looks good!

Well it's still getting it for free if you pretend the version without it doesn't exist.

If 3FVape's prices are correct then the version with the bottle is just $4 more than the version without. That's not a bad price for the bottle.

If you get the carbon fiber versions they're $7 cheaper than the resin.

I feel the same way. 1 measly mm. Altho this may be my first squonk mod if I decide to buy it, imo it's a big fail that it doesn't allow for 2170. Not saying all new mods should take 3 battery sizes, but this design? and it already takes 2070? Come on!!
If the opening in the battery sled could be filed out some.....
80wpulse.png

The back of the panels are flat, so no room to gain there.
With 2070 in there, the top looks like room to be had. The battery at the bottom looks more flush with the panel, unless it was installed that way and there's actual wiggle room at the 2070 size.
So it appears to me to depend on if that installed 2070 has any wiggle room as it is, that can be gained > plus filing the sled, to get that other mm.

Earlier I was going to say that you could probably make a 21700 fit with some time and a Dremel! haha

It does appear that Eciggity has the best prices. I think I'm going to preorder one from there this weekend.

Does anyone here have experience with Eciggty? I've seen their name mentioned before on the forums and in videos but have never dealt with them myself.

i have bought from them a few times, very reputable and fast shipping considering it has to cross a good chunk of the pacific to get moving.

I grew up in Hawaii, so I order from them as much as I can. They usually end up being the cheapest on new stuff in the states. Shipping time is on par with any other US vendor, they get it out quick then its on usps.

You're not talking about the Pulse though, right Vape Fan? If they already have them, I'm def ordering ASAP lol.

Just to clarify for everyone. There are 2 Official Versions:

1) Standard
2) High End

The only difference is the High End comes with the 30mL Refill Bottle. Not 100% Clear about the Color of the Bottle, either Black or Clear. The Product Photos Vandy Vape sent us have the Black, but other photos have the Clear. My gut tells me it’s the Clear.

The price difference was so small that it only makes sense for us to carry the High End Version. It “should” only be a few dollars more, and it would be cheaper than buying the Refill Bottle separately.

Estimated Ship Date From Vandy Vape - April 10th.

After busting my drag back out and putting a Dead Rabbit clone on it with a single AVS TRI-CORE FUSED CLAPTON COILS 316L SS 28GX3/36G / 3MM / 5 wrap = 0.24 ohm coil in TC mode I am rethinking buying this mod. I set it to 80w preheat and cranked it all the way up to 475f and it isn't even close to as warm as my RSQ are at 430f/55w with a 0.35 ohm build. I guess I had forgot how well the Gene chip performed in TC mode. I will try and rebuild it this weekend with a plain round wire 24ga dual coil build (and maybe a single coil build of some sort as well) and see if it performs better when not using fancy premade multi-core/strand coils.

No way they would make it the internal bottle impossible to remove. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot if they did. I was just thinking it might be more difficult to remove than the standard bottle. I'm probably just reading too much into it all and y'all are right, just hype.

It's not like Vandy Vape needed to re-invent the wheel with this mod to make it sell. Regulated + good chip + resin panels + big battery X squonk = a lot of units sold.

Now I just hope it comes in the same turquoise resin as the Drag. I don't see that listed yet, but it's got to be one of the most popular colors.
This color? I'd love to see one too

Refill bottles seem to be the trendy thing.
I got one with the Therion and use it for the dotmod squonk I have. But rarely use it. Just sitting with juice in it

The RSQ is a great regulated squonker, plus it's as small as an unregulated. I use mine all the time and absolutely love it!

Got one on the way. Glad so many people like it. Can't wait to have another regulated mod. Just sold my inbox, have the Therion but want something a little smaller
