Summer heat probably got to it on the long journey from ecx to LAX.
Nicotine River package trip to LAX won't take 2-3 days.
Some people like NR's nic well enough. My personal experience with NicSelect, from both ECX and NR, hasn't been great. Pretty strong smell, numbing of the tongue, harshness when you've gone 30 minutes or so without vaping and so the nic has had time to oxidize a bit while sitting on the wicking. I'm not a fan. Like I said though, other people like it just fine.

Just curious if anyone ordered from NR for their July 4th sale and received their stuff?
Mine should be here Tue however I show shipment weight of 28 lbs from the FedEx site and I ordered 2.5 gallons of nic plus some supplies and flavorings and total cost before shipping was just over $500. According to above post from @Ramsay Bolton, orders over $500 would also come with 5 free gallons of PG or VG and 28 lbs seemed a bit light for all that stuff and I'm thinking they didn't send the extra VG that I requested in the order comments.
I could be wrong but I guess I'll find out on Tue but was wondering if anyone else got their stuff and if it had the free goodies that was included in the sale.

Mine arrived today but I'm not home to check it. I should know about it tomorrow. I only ordered enough to get a free gallon, which seems to check out with the 13 lbs weight listed by Fedex.
28 lbs would definitely be light for 7.5+ gallons (including nic), light by 2/3. Should be about 75 lbs. Hopefully it's just misrepresented on the shipping/tracking info. I've never had a problem with NR not sending what they should have.

I'm hoping it's a typo and if not and my suspicion is correct then I'll give them a call on Wed and see what they do.
I used to work for FedEx Express (this shipment is Ground though) a few past lives ago and we had to make sure when we picked up that the weights were correct within reason and if not we'd reweigh the packages when we got back to the station and update the shipment since part of the shipping charges to the customer are based on weight and there's a big difference between 28 and 75 lbs.
2 reasons why the weight could be off
first which is unlikely - they box is big enough to be dimensional weight but i doubt they could fit all that in 1 box that only had a dim weight of 28
2nd reason which is more likely is the shipment is in multiple boxes and the tracking is only showing the weight of box 1

I have only been diy-Ing for a little and have only ordered 48mg/ml VG nic base from nude nic and it's been great. Is the flavor any different from nicotine river/nicselect? Is nude nic good enough to justify the premium price is basically what I'm asking? I probably don't need to buy much if it's at 100mg/ml. Probably just a couple hundred ml because I mix at 6mg/ml.

Oh yeah, they indeed shipped the free 4 gallons of VG and 1 gallon of PG. Weight was more like 82 lbs, not 28 lbs, LOL. The FedEx guy was like, what the hell is in here, a car engine? I didn't want to say it was nicotine in fear that he'd drop it and I've have a spill on my hands
Definitely happy with NR, they even through in a bunch of empty 1 liter containers to break down the PG pr VG into smaller quantities. I wouldn't use it for the nic since it's translucent container and easily lets light through and the nic is going into glass anyway so I'll throw the VG and PG in it.
Haven't had a chance to try the nic yet but I'm excited to try DIY juice VERY soon!

Yeah, one large heavy ass box. Wish mine would've gotten here sooner as well considering it shipped last Wed but I guess the soonest it could've arrived was yesterday from CA to IL factoring in the weekend. No complaints though

No codes at the moment. Free shipping offers for US customers and nada for foreign customers.

I'm new haven't made my own juice yet . Been trolling these posts. Went to nic river. Got a ? Vg base nic or Pg base nic? Btw I like max vg juice so should I get Pg base nic or? Do u need at least SOME Pg to help the flavors mix or? Idk lol I want any where from 70/20 vg/Pg to MAX VG For cloud chasing. Is 100% vg do able or is it too thick and the flavors won't mix or something? Please help
I use 50/50 nic base - pure VG is just too thick to conveniently draw through a syringe to measure, and adding a couple percentage points of PG isn't that big a deal for me. Nic River is a great source, BTW - I've spent about $1000 there in recent months with only one issue that was quickly resolved...
My two cents. The vast majority of concentrated flavors are delivered in a PG base, so you'll be introducing some PG into the final product when you add you flavors. There's some nic picking you could do about what the presence of more PG will do to your perception of flavors, but you don't have to be concerned about it being too thick for the flavors to mix properly.
I'll disagree with OD. You can get your nic in 100% VG, and then when you break it down into smaller bottles upon arrival, use a smaller bottle for the nic you'll actually be mixing with. I've found a 120ml bottle works just fine, though a 60ml bottle would cut down on the time involved even more. When you take that bottle out of the freezer to make a mix, simply run it under room temp tap water for a minute or two, while also using your hands to apply body heat. A minute or so of that will lower the viscosity enough that it's easy to work with. I've long sense stopped using syringes to pull up liquid. IMO, it is more efficient to pull the plunger out, and pour the liquid in, using your thumb to plug up the opening. If you mix 30ml bottles, simply use a 30 ml syringe, and pour in your nic, VG, and PG, and then dispense. In my experience, after mixing many gallons at this point, that's the best way to go, and 100% VG nic works just fine via this approach.
Just made my first batch last week after lots of research in flavors and percentages and only one turned out bad, outta 9 recipes!! . (Well good flavor but smells like cat piss,yup you guessed it...... That damned Honey flavor.. 'peaches n honey' ) didn't see that one coming..

I buy 250ml 100mg from NR all the time. I make around 2liters of unflavored juice and keep them in a container till I'm ready to mix. Before NR I bought from a few other places. No one else has the same quality as NR they sell the best flavors, VG, PG and nic. 250ml is $19.95. 1 liter PG/ VG $7.99 each. They also have a mix 50/50 VG/PG. They have the best prices for all their stuff. Only problem with NR is you pay shipping. So just order all your ingredients together for 1 shipping price.
