Heyy Fellow Vapors,

Pardon me I'm still somewhat a newb to vaping...

1. Does anyone know if I can run a Royal Hunter mini RDA on a KBOX mini?

2. What would be the hottest build or good build for good vapor production with this setup? Ohms/watts etc/gauge/wraps/diameter

3. Would a royal hunter mini CLONE be ok?

Royal hunter is a very nice RDA. I have the authentic not the clone. Hopefully the clone is well built. You can put a dual clapton build or a dual kanthal 24 gauge build in a mini easily. Maybe aim for between .25 - .3 ohm. Vape at 40 - 45 watts. This evening I was vaping a single vertical clapton coil at .5 ohm on my velocity at 45 watts and getting great flavor. I have built below .25 - I have built below .2. But lately I've come to appreciate higher ohm builds on a regulated mod. I now always vape my regulated between .25 - .3 and usually between 35 - 45 watts. Your only issue is battery life.

The easiest build is 24 gauge kanthal around a 2.5 diameter with 5-8 wraps depending whether or not you want a single or dual build. Works really well. BTW, the authentic Royal Hunter is not expensive for what it is. I paid just under 50 dollars. Another good authentic is the mini Bullet ( I have a dual twisted build in mine at .27 ohm. Used 28 gauge wire. The Bullet was just around 35 dollars.

Now some clones are good. But I have eventually had issues with almost every clone I owned. Now I'm handy. I'll replace a peek insulater. I'll fix bad screws. I'll adjust the center pin. So the clones I now use are sometimes better than the originals. If you are mechanically inclined go for the clone.

The kbox mini will not fire below 0.3 ohms.

I got a normal authentic Royal hunter rda, Great rda for the price. i assume the mini version would be just as good

EDIT: forgot also got a single clapton in it, vape is nice and warm good flavour aswell.

I would do 26g 2.5 mm 6 ir 7 wraps should be .38 to .43 Ω 8 wraps would be roughly .5Ω start at 35 watts and move up to 50.
