I was reading about the mini-ice age this morning, written by a doctor in Brazil I've known for a few years. He pretty much put the kibosh on the global warming nonsense.
Yes. I have been bad-mouthing that idea since it was first suggested (another government ploy to redistribute our income). I was not only a meteorologist for six years, but minored in climatology and paleo-climatology. I had access to the real global temperature records and clearly the government (U.N. too) was altering the figures to prove a lie. What really pissed me off was that supposed good guys (like NASA) were, and to some extent still are, pushing this lie and even using false images of the polar caps to make Joe Average believe it.
